Customer Service Poor

I have been using gumtree for years to advertise job roles. Today I have been having issues and the customer service is atrocious. The worker was unable to help, she kept referring to sending instructions via email on how to fix the problem. When she finally agreed the matter needed escalating I asked what would happen and she said she would send instructions through via the email. No longer can operate advertising jobs, trying to run a buisness with a company that are so vague and uninterested

Not the cheapest

The service has,been great but I'm currently shopping around as am aware I can get this medication much cheaper elsewhere.
I've so far had a £140 and £148 price quote

Overseas company, subbing work and being greedy.

Handy rubbish sent out a guy and his team to clear a house of rubbish. I am in the trade so was able to negotiate a fair price. The guys that arrived were absolutely amazing but I discovered 40% of their earnings go to Handy Rubbish who are based overseas and just sub the work out. This amount is before they tip. Not a fair set up at all.

Be sure to shop around first.

I purchased a 13.5 double tog Die Zudecke quilt via Debenhams but from Down and Cotton. My purchase is absolutely gorgeous but it's very upsetting that I have since seen my quilt on two other sites £200 cheaper than the £585 I paid.
Down Cotton refuse a refund as the quilt was used once.
It's OK and my fault - but definitely worth shopping around before purchasing from D&C

AC are a great little find.

I have only had my van for a week but my experience with AC so far have been great. I found the van online and for the age, condition and mileage it was very reasonably priced. Luis ( a character ) was brilliant. We have had a small snag with the battery on the van and AC have agreed with no hesitation for us to replace it our end and send them the invoice. I purchase vans from time to time as they are needed for our cleaning/maintenance business. My first search when looking for our new purchase will be AC for sure.

Avoid .....

Went online. Paid for click and collect as urgently needed a ladder for a job. Called up as after I paid the address did not come through for where the shop was. After hanging on the phone for ages I was put through and told that National Tool Hire were trying to source me a ladder from a 3rd party and this could take several hours. I explained that this would not work for us as we needed to get on with a job. I was told that the ladder could arrive anytime within the next 24hrs and that my fee paid was non refundable as I had not paid extra!
I ordered the ladder online at 9.30am. It's now 12.45 and no sign or contact about my order.
£60 gone - an absolute disgrace.

Sunil was great. He is extremely knowledgeable and managed to help me when under unfortunate circumstances I totted up points that should have given me an immediate 12 month ban.
Thankfully. Due to his expertise and guidance I received a minimum ban and small fine which will have minimum disruption to me operating my busy buisness

Quality in decline

I purchased a pair of £150 jeans approx 7 years ago before Toast were taken over. I wore these jeans constantly for 5 years until they finally were done. My gosh did I get my money worth. Gutted I had to finally part with them - can't tell you how happy I was that Toast re realised the jeans for sale about a year ago. So delighted even though the price of the garment was now £180, I proceeded to buy 2 pairs.
Unfortunately I can tell that the quality and thickness of the jeans are not as good as my original pair. The thread is coming apart in areas and I just know that the knees will go in both at some point in the future.
What Toast did well apart from make clothing was make good quality clothing. This I feel has now been compromised.
Such a shame

Definitely not the cheapest.

Was with A plan for a couple of years before wishing to add another van to the policy. The amount quoted was ridiculously high and I managed to find it cheaper by half. I then decided to look at new quotes for the van that was insured with A plan and found a cheaper quote by 400 quid. It was a bit harsh that I had to pay a £150 get out clause but was still up.
In total that day I saved a grand total of nearly £800.

I am now on my 3rd Snakehive case and not because of quality but because I have upgraded my phones. I would never be without these cases. So much value for money, they last forever and you can store cards and cash in the sleeve.

DO NOT BOOK HOLIDAYS WITH TRAVELSOON THROUGH ICE LOLLY HOLIDAYS,
I went on the ice lolly website as i hear they have a good reputation. I booked a holiday through Travel Soon who work under the umbrella of IL. To say my accommodation was terrible is an understatement. It was so bad i stayed for 10 minutes and was left to fork out an added £350 to stay elsewhere. Travel Soon are refusing to give a penny of my money back and Ice Lolly say they cant help.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
I booked a holiday with this company and they literally sent me to the worse hotel i have ever seen. It was that bad i stayed 10 minutes.
Being a solo female traveller i felt unsafe and the accommodation was definitely not 3* as they advertised. I had to pay £350 for alternative digs and then to add insult to injury
Did not get a penny back from Travelsoon.
Disgraceful company.

I can see that your claims regarding your hotel were sent over to your accommodations supplier and they have liaised with the hotel in question, I do believe you have received the response from them of which they have disagreed with your comments, we appreciate this is not what you wanted to hear but this has been fully investigated, it is also the first complaint we have had regarding this accommodation.
