faultless used car sales experience

Really rate this car sales garage. From enquiry through to purchase and after sales care they’ve been faultless. A service light came on a few days after purchase but they sorted the parts and repaired quickly (all within warranty).

Really pleased with the car and there was no heavy sales pitch. Just friendly genuine people! Thanks again!

avoid

Lied all the way though the process.
No service or MOT done. no spare keys, no log book sent.
Vehicle broke down within 2 weeks of purchase.
No after sale assistance. No refund.
All emails ignored

Will be recommending to everyone I know.

It has been a while since I purchase a vehicle. Approved Cars Ltd staff made the whole transaction seem-less and enjoyable, they took all the stress away from me. James was extremely patient with me allowing me to walk around all the cars I had in mind, once I had made my decision he was very clear and reassuring on the next steps to owning my car. I have now been driving my car for the last month and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of vehicle and where I bought it from. I can’t thank everyone who made it possible enough.

Great Garage

Scammers

Bought my Fiat Tipo from these in August of last year, there was a known problem with the head unit which they were adamant they would get fixed. Every time I called to get it booked in to be replaced I either had no answer or straight up lied to on the phone about their systems “being down”. Fast forward to today, 10 months on since buying the car, I have been ‘booked in’ twice, both times a call the day before telling me it has been postponed due to an employee sickness and now they’ve just realised the “wrong head unit” was delivered. Joke of a company. I’ll be taking this to trading standards.

Absolutely horrible company! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!

Absolutely horrible company bought a £33,000 car that came with miss matched bumper and fender, door scratches, stone chips and a brake pad change alert even though they told me it was taken to BMW for a full “Service”.

I requested for those to be fixed and it took 4 months for them to collect the car after they lied to me and said the courtesy car was not available.

When they finally gave it back to me all the chips were just filled in with a paint pen.

It takes about 3 weeks for anyone to respond to any email or 4 days for someone to reply back to a missed call.

Absolutely horrible company.
Would have been more at ease spending an extra £1000 and buying the same car better quality from BMW.

Do not carry out warranty work and expect payment

We have been dealing with a customer of Approved Cars Centre who had an issue with the vehicle he bought from them. We diagnosed the issues and approached this company for authority through their warranty scheme. The full authority was given in mid March 2025 and the repairs carried out. The customer had his vehicle back from us on 04/04/25 and despite calling this company on a daily basis for payment we are still waiting for this to arrive 8 weeks later after a number of failed promises to pay. Be warned other garages if using this company.

Also when picking it up it was absolutely filthy wasn’t cleaned
Cab was absolutely disgusting
They repainted areas of the van and didn’t even bother to take the tape off

DON’T EXPECT CONTACT ONCE SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Having to resort to this, as I’m getting no responses from anyone at Approved Cars/Approved Vans.

I purchased a 9 seater Vivaro from these in July of last year…only a week later I started experiencing issues on our trip to France.

I emailed to make them aware of the issue.

I nursed the vehicle home, on the advice of the dealer in France, with a suspected EGR cooler problem.

I took it into an independent garage who couldn’t find the fault.

I emailed again as no responses were received.

They asked to drop the van into Approved Cars for diagnostics.

They couldn’t find a problem

Now I’m starting to think I am making it up.

I persevered with this until the winter with the issue not going away. Engine hazard light on, check emissions light on. Coolant disappearing “somewhere”

I finally admit defeat and take it to the main dealer…the news is not good, terminal to be honest. Coolant making its way into engine, cylinder head warped, repair bill almost certainly well above 5k. To cut a long story short, the list of issues was a full page long…and to add insult to injury this is an issue that has been with the van since march 2023! I full year and 4 months before I took ownership!

Van is un drive-able so now have a £14000 paper weight.
Countless emails since, and STILL NO RESPONSE!

No option left than to take this legal.

IF ANYONE FROM APPROVED CARS READS THESE…I WANT A RESPONSE AS A MATTER OF THE HIGHEST URGENCY

AC are a great little find.

I have only had my van for a week but my experience with AC so far have been great. I found the van online and for the age, condition and mileage it was very reasonably priced. Luis ( a character ) was brilliant. We have had a small snag with the battery on the van and AC have agreed with no hesitation for us to replace it our end and send them the invoice. I purchase vans from time to time as they are needed for our cleaning/maintenance business. My first search when looking for our new purchase will be AC for sure.
