Suitcase lost, no resolution offered.

Ordered a suitcase for delivery to UK. Suitcase was damaged during posting and has since been lost by courier. No refund or replacement offered, just an email from Wardow saying the courier will investigate and this could take weeks. In the meantime, I have no suitcase for the trip that I’m going on and no refund.

Repeated failure to comply with…

Repeated failure to comply with delivery instructions.

I subscribe to a wine club - am cancelling as a result of their use of yodel. Instructions are clear that this cannot be left unattended as it is alcohol but out of the three deliveries I’ve had 2 have been left on my doorstep when I haven’t been in - the first was stolen, and I’m waiting to see if the third is there when I get home.

Left of wine on doorstep for thieves

Left a box of wine on my doorstep while I was away. No attempt to leave it in a safe place. Box was broken into before my neighbour found it. Awful service.

Cancelled! Not impressed - and haven’t been on tour yet!

Update: instead of finding a solution, they just cancelled our booking. Would score a zero if I could.

Haven’t been on the tour yet, but the UAE tour experience through Private Dubai Tours (or apparently Ocean Air Travel) made very stressful ahead of even going as the pick up that we confirmed at the time of booking is now not available and they expect us to drive across Dubai to be picked up. If that was what was available would have booked with someone else.

Delivered on time with helpful driver

Ordered on Sunday hoping for ‘next day delivery’ on Tuesday. Got out of the shower 8.15 Tuesday morning to two missed calls 10 minutes earlier where the delivery driver had tried to deliver. I called the driver back, and he turned round and came back to deliver the tiles. Carrying them to where I wanted them stored until the work started.

(Tiles yet to be laid, but look as expected.)

Disappointing - no sample and not straight tiles

My sample order never arrived, so due to my project timeline I had to order tiles for my bathroom without having received the sample.

The tiles I ordered - Attingham™ Plain White - look good and seem robust, but during tiling today, my builder has commented they are not straight and therefore do not lie flush, which will mean some corners sticking out slightly as they are laid in brickwork pattern.

Overall quite a disappointing experience with Topps Tiles.

Where a product defect is noticed, customers are advised to contact us before they are fitted to allow us the opportunity to test for defects and replace the products where the defect exists.

Poor. Only 1 of 3 orders received.

I’ve placed three orders with Shoeaholics. Order 1 - left on my doorstep - deemed a safe place - by Hermes and stolen. Order 2 - same as order 1 but actually received. Order 3 - despatched a week ago but 7 days later, Hermes don’t have it. While their products look good and are reasonably priced, their customer service and use of Hermes is leading to a poor user experience which means I will not shop with them again.

Awful website and returns process.

I ordered on M&S online. Their website is one of the worst I’ve experienced for not being able to filter on things they actually have in stock. When I did find something it didn’t suit. I tried to return it with Hermes collection, which is supposed to be easy. I booked a return collection three times, stayed in all day, and Hermes didn’t bother showing up on any of them. The nearest Hermes drop off point is 15-20mins from my flat. Would not recommend the M&S website or Hermes. Poor experience.

valuable parcels missing, returns not collected

I have had two valuable parcels go missing from Hermes, and their returns service is terrible. On two separate occasions I have tried to have Hermes collect returns and even though I have had email confirmations they have not been collected - rearranged three times for each parcel and still a no show from them. My current delivery (4 pairs of shoes) is delayed by 4 days for being too big! If you have the choice, use DPD - they are much more reliable. I have started cancelling orders if I see they plan to use Hermes as the delivery company.

Poor customer service

Lovely door, awful customer service.

The door is lovely and good quality, but the knocker that was fitted vibrates every time a car goes past which sounds like it is snoring. I messaged and phoned several times to ask them to look at it, and despite repeated promises it took a month for someone to come round. He said he would come and check the knocker and bring some rubber dampeners to stop it from vibrating but allow it to still knock. After another few calls, 5 weeks later someone else came round and stuck some silicon glue on the knocker so the knocker makes practically no sound.

Most of the staff on the phone have been lovely but the lady who called me today to confirm they weren’t willing to do anything else was rude and shouty.

Given my customer service experience, despite the quality of the door I would not recommend this company.

Ontime + efficient - Currys delivery/installation

I ordered a Fridge-Freezer and Washer/Dryer through Currys over the Black Friday weekend as mine had packed up. I paid for the remove + recycle and installation services for both, and selected a day to be delivered. I only read the reviews on here after having paid for everything, and was a little anxious.

However, I received a text from Currys/ Team KnowHow the night before my order was due to say what time slot they would the next day. At the start of that time slot I received a call from the Team KnowHow representative saying they were around 30 minutes away, the phone manner was a little abrupt, but to the point.

The delivery turned up just after 30 minutes later. They disconnected and removed the old appliances, removed the packaging from the new appliances and installed them, and put the washer on the first wash all within around 30 minutes.

While not the friendliest of people (they did admit they were very busy - and it was a Sunday) they were punctual, efficient, and were careful not to damage anything.

Overall I was very relieved/ pleased with the level of service.

Very good service. Easy website an payment. Goods delivered as ordered. Very prompt delivery - I hadn’t even realised it was same day delivery, I thought I’d requested next day delivery.
