Going around in circles
I'm interested in one of the NISEP schemes listed on the EST's website. The documentation says contact the scheme manager for further details. So I contacted the company listed as the scheme manager, twice by email over several weeks with no response, and then called them to be told they weren't involved in that sort of work (ASHP's) and couldn't help or advise who could.
On the EST website, under NISEP, they say if you want to discuss NISEP schemes to contact the Northern Ireland Energy Advice Service, so I called them and they told me they only deal with housing executive properties and couldn't help and didn't know who could help.
So I called the EST number for Belfast, and I get an automated message with no option to speak to a person. That message tells me to call the Energy Advice Service for NISEP queries. As above they already told me they couldn't help.
So I submitted an enquiry via the form on the EST website...and after a week I haven't had so much as an acknowledgement.

Useless
It was a complete waste of time trying to get back the money they charged me after I sold the property and asked them to close my account so I gave up. Now, ~9 months later they've sent me two emails asking me to get in touch because they've noticed I've cancelled my direct debit. Horrible reminders of dealing with one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.
I expect they'll respond with some platitudes telling me to contact them on social media or chat...read my last review, it's easier to get a GP appointment than get anything useful out of your chat.

A lot cheaper than paying the rental companies per booking. Had to claim once and it was relatively straightforward.

Terrible customer service
I *think* I have a booking with hotels.com. They took the money on my card but I didn't get a confirmation email (more than 24hrs later). On my account I see it says I have an upcoming trip but when I click it to see the confirmation I get an error message "sorry something went wrong on our end", I have tried 10+ times.
Despite being a silver member, apparently with access to priority customer service with a dedicated team, the only way I appear to be able to contact hotels.com is through a virtual bot that has decided it has answered my question with its first response and has disabled typing on my end. I doesn't let me open a new help chat dialog.
Their online feedback form says they don't respond to feedback and if you need help visit their "Customer Support Page", clicking that link just opens up a new feedback form.
Absolute garbage level of service.

Unreliable drop off info
Today I'll attempt to drop off my parcel for the third time!
I received an email with options, one of which was to download a barcode to my phone, I opted for that, went to the drop off - approx 1 hour round trip - to be told that they don't take barcodes from phones and I need to print the label myself.
Attempt 2. I printed a label, attached it to the parcel, since the place I went to the first time wasn't open until evening time I went to a different drop off that I found on the UPS website - again approx. 1 hour round trip - they told me they don't accept UPS parcels "the UPS website might say that but we don't accept them".
I will use another company in future.

A complete shambles
I write this as I hold an hour in to a call about a simple account problem. One of the worst companies I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Problems all the way through. Continually asking for readings despite having a smart meter - I could see usage on the Loop App but not on BG site. I had a massive account balance and no bills for almost a year.
The way the chat bot works is disgraceful, every time I tried there were apparently "no agents available" when I entered "usage query" or "general query" but straight through if it's "complaint" or "emergency"...i wasted hours on trying to get hold of someone about my "usage". It was black and white when I repeated it, and recorded via screengrabs. The regulator were not interested.
I sold my house and they continue to charge me for the new owners usage. Despite the fact that I have a record of the chat transcript where they say -
"Thank you for waiting. I really appreciate your patience. I have successfully closed the account and A final bill will automatically be generated and sent to you via their preferred method within 42 days of the home move being processed (although this is usually much quicker). "
On multiple occasions on chat or by phone I've been told things like "apologies for your problems in the past....I'll make sure that doesn't happen again"...
Possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with...mobile company starting with V are the only one that comes close.
I will never use them again and will take every opportunity to advise others to do the same.

Contemptibly slow claim follow up
My transatlatic flight was delayed for reasons obviously within BAs control. I filed a claim that was black and white and very straightforward. It took approx 6 weeks to get a response other than automatic "we're on the case" type rubbish. They then responded saying they would pay within 28 business days (which is outrageously slow!). 28 business days have been and gone and I've not received a penny. Rubbish.

Sort out your website!!!
I've bought quite a few things from Halfords and used their Autocentres and generally found them quite good...but the website is an abomination and has driven me to write this review.
Add something to your basket and everything else gets booted out...filter on brand and watch the orange circle go around for 5 seconds with the end result being absolutely nothing...I can even see the name of the brand I've filtered on in the URL but on the screen I'm still seeing other brands. Picked a set of brake discs and I get a red message telling me "these may not be suitable for my vehicle, click here to check", so I do. It brings me back to the last page where the same discs are available to choose which is absolutely useless. At the basket I was nudged to join the motoring club for £5 off, so I did...and it forgot everything in my basket...arrgggh. So I went around the houses again and added everything, then at the basket I get a message telling me to spend £30 to get £5 off, despite having £94 in my basket. A complete shambles!

Good price and timely delivery. Unfortunately I managed to break an end cap in the process of fitting what I bought. I'm not sure if Stelrad have just changed prices or if I'm going daft - I would swear the end caps were a silly price when I checked but I see that I can get them for 33p. Well done Stelrad, it's refreshing not to get ripped off when buying simple spares.
