Don't buy on line,if package get lost don't expect replacement,because they saying we delivered no matter you get or not.
In store most item have been used,so is not new which you pay for it.

I bought 2 appliances from Home depot in Langley . First the sales clerk took ages filling out the forms ,not knowing how to do a sale going to 2 different addresses . Then the nightmare of waiting for the delivery. One is told, you will get a call the night before - NO that did not happen . Then i call them and are told it will be delivered between 7am and 12 pm !! REALLY can this not be streamlined !! I dont live at this address so had to wait for it - it arrived after 4 pm - no way near the very broad timeline i was told !! The next day the other appliance was to be delivered -- the same thing again. At 4 .17 i had to leave - no delivery . Tomorrow a service guy is suppose to install the dishwasher - again no time frame - 7 am to 12 pm - Yes right - It take me 1 hr to get to the place where it will be installed . I am not going there at 7 am and wait all day . MY ADVICE IS DONT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT UNLESS YOU CAN PICk IT UP YOURSELF . THEY NEED TO FIRE THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE !! I am going down to the store tomorrow and cancell the order and get a refund and they can keep the appliances. TO BAD THE LOWEST IS A 1 STAR
Bad business decision
Spent over an hour selecting the products I needed for my project totalling $1900 only to find out I had a $6 past due on my card that I thought was paid off. So they refused my card and I walked away without the purchase. Not a big deal for me - I will just go to another hardware store but seriously a bad business deal on Home Depot’s part to shut down a $1900 purchase because of an oversight on my part of $6 !!! I find out I could have made the payment right in the store but that was never offered to me. Ad a matter of fact the guy on the phone said I would have to settle it with the credit service the next day. Make it make sense?!?!
Request for availability of product or item
I was looking for a glass replacement for my kitchen pendant lamp (hanging lamp) I've asked a lady assistant at the light section where I can find a similar item as per my picture sample. She looked at me at if I don't exist and instead of referring me to customer service she merely advised me to go "ONLINE". Is this the best service your assistant can provide?
Do not use the delivery option. Horrible
This is the second time I have tried to use their delivery option. Fist time next day delivery took 8 days.OK mistakes happen. Second time same FU.
They have contracted with a carrier who just cant hit the timelines. Expensive time wasters.
Delivery Issues
I placed an order for appliances on September 7, with a scheduled delivery date of September 28. Unfortunately, I still have not received my order as of September 29.
Home Depot uses a delivery company that relies on subcontractors, but there seems to be poor management and coordination of logistics. There was no proactive communication, and I’ve been left waiting without clear updates or solutions.
This has been extremely frustrating and inconvenient. When customers schedule a delivery, we expect the company to follow through on the promised date or at least communicate effectively if there are delays. Home Depot really needs to improve oversight of their delivery process to ensure a better experience for customers.

I’ve been a Home Depot customer for years, but this experience was awful. I bought a washer and dryer set for my rental, and the washer that arrived on Sept 27 didn’t work at all. Customer service told me the replacement couldn’t come until Oct 11, leaving my tenant without a washer for over two weeks and me having to give a break on rent. They offered only a $100 gift card and no real solution, and the rep I dealt, Nasine, with was unprofessional. She kept trying to rush to end the conversation with offering nothing and then never provided a link to leave a review, though I asked 4 times and instead just left the conversation. Had I known I’d be stuck waiting this long, I would have gone elsewhere.
Fraud, don’t respect consumer protection laws
Worst service, rating would be a zero but they don’t allow it.
Made a purchase online for pickup next day, following day they cancelled my order, when I arrived they told me they cancelled the order because they couldn’t find the stock.
Luckily HD tells you exactly where it is placed on their site, lo and behold exactly where the site indicated it would be.
Reason they truly cancelled my order was to not respect the advertised price that was online, instead Miriam the flooring supervisor wanted to take me for an idiot by offering me a small discount instead of respecting the initial advertised online price as well as the consumer law in Quebec.
I have a small house - zero respect for clients
I have a small house. Rude delivery men, refused to bring in new stove and left in the garage. It would have came in okay if they removed the door. My gas fitter helped me bring the stove in and remove the old stove. The next day the same 2 idiots showed up to deliver my fridge. They refused to remove the fridge doors and made me take off the front door. While they were waiting they complained and said something like white wash in Patois. Hell will freeze before I buy anything form Home Depot again. Cancelling my credit card now!

Ajax Home Depot. Customer service is so bad. She was an old lady and she was so rude to us. We just wanna tell them that we bought the paint and the color was wrong we didn’t ask for this color and she said she even doesn’t wanna listen us she just said we cannot return it or give you refund. Home Depot online customer service is worse than a 0 rating. The people online in their customer service don't seem to understand English very well and that makes a already difficult situation VERY BAD. Second thing is the genius at Home Depot thought it is a good thing not to allow redemption of store credits with online purchases? They owe their customer money so why s a online purchase such a big deal?? Some of us do not live close by a Home Depot so doing a round trip drive of over 6 hours to get your credit is unacceptable.
Purchased dishwasher
Purchased dishwasher, paid disconnect old, install new.
Serviceman came after rescheduling. Late Friday afternoon. No effort, measured floor to cabinet in 1st 5 mun, can't do as can't get old dishwasher out, writing old bigger than new.
Customer (76yr old woman and Grandson removed old measured to find old LARGER than new.
We even removed small piece vinyl flooring. Have called 7 times plus emailed this info to home depot. Still waiting service schedule appointment. Also color not same as picture we provided of older along g with model information.ation at time of purchase. Wow!
Poor Selection of Tiles 4, 6, 8 inch Coloured
I had to make 3 attempts to go to my local Home Depot Store regarding tile selection. Unknowledgeable employees with an outdated computer system that is unstable. How is it possible that I can do a search for a specific tile using my home computer and yet when an employee tries to do a search for the same tile, they cannot find it..? I would rather buy from another retail store....Poor selection of 4 inch, 6 inch , 8 inch tiles. Poor selection of coloured tiles with big giants slabs of tile in colours of white, grey in the showroom that no one wants to buy and are meant for mansions or commercial use. I would rather do business with another retailer...I finally ordered my 6 x 6 Merola tiles and had to wait a week to have them delivered by UPS who drops the tile at my front door without even ringing the door well.. Prices are clearly inflated for tiles. I got a price match with an online retailer who I will be using for my next tile purchase. HOME DEPOT does not deserve my business while offering inflated prices and MEDIOCRE service..

Around 10:30 a.m., I asked an associate on the floor about a Sika foam product that was labeled “reusable.” I know from experience that foam products are usually difficult to reuse once they dry, so I wanted clarification. The associate I spoke with was very kind, honest, and respectful. She explained that it was not her department and did not want to give me the wrong information. I truly appreciated her professionalism.
Since I could not find anyone in the construction department, I approached the floor manager for help. Unfortunately, my experience with him was disappointing. He responded to my question in a dismissive and arrogant manner, saying simply, “After you finish, close the bottle and that’s it.” His tone was rude and condescending, and I felt embarrassed in front of other employees. I later noticed him speaking about me in a way that suggested he was mocking my question.
I value Home Depot and normally receive good service, but in this case I felt disrespected as a customer. My concern is not just about not getting the right information, but about the lack of courtesy and professionalism from a manager who represents the store.
I hope you will look into this matter and ensure that customers are treated with respect, regardless of their questions. I believe Home Depot can do better, and I trust you will take appropriate action.

We ordered a washer dryer loved it in may 2025. In July 2025 I husband got a text stating your order for washer dryer is ready for delivery. We thought it was a scam. We were at camp my husband received a call delivery was at our home. His brother put it in garage when we got home we called home depot august 7 ? Anyway still going through trying to return. Still have no answers. Be careful and don’t give your credit card number go through pay pal 🤷♀️we were charged to credit card again without authorization

If I could give zero I would Home Depot Canada is absolutely a joke. I placed an online order two items. One said it was shipping. I got an email that it had shipped. I waited around the whole day. Nothing showed up so I called back then they said oh it hasn’t shipped yet I said, but I received an email stating that it had all was a glitch Then I got the item 3 days later next item it said it shipped never shipped phone contact couple times was told oh no no it’s shipping tomorrow then it ships then I get a email from UPS and they didn’t put the correct address so now the parcel is stuck in limbo at some UPS outlet and I’ve made numerous calls to get The correct address to the UPS from Home Depot and they just seem unwilling to help the customer service I will never ever shop at Home Depot again after this experience I still have not had my issue resolved, and they still have not reversed the billing for this purchase, even though I never received a product. This is absolutely the biggest joke I have ever seen in my life.
