I have been a Costco Member for 25 years now and over the past few years, especially the past year. I have noticed MAJOR issues both with online and instore Credit issues. Meaning today is now the second time I have caught Costco not get my credit applied to my credit card. Yes now the Second Time in 2 years. The first time for $900.00 plus and now this time for $400.00. Both times about 2 weeks later I noticed my credit did not appear on my Costco World Mastercard. Called about 3 times into customer service and was told each time the credit was processed and they couldn't do anything??? The forth time like about 2 years ago I finally got someone to look into it properly to get the situation resolved. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE for any company. The instore experience has also become very POOR in that a number of the associates in the warehouses seem to be of no help at all and even very rude. Not he Costco I have known in the past. My example from yesterday is I as returning a garage door open to the Halifax location and noticed the price of the item had been reduced again by another $100.00 which made it now 1/2 price. I than said because the the much lower price I would purchase it however the clerk came up with some ridiculous story on he could not sell it?? While doing my shopping I kept thinking about what he said didn't make any sense so after checking ou with the items I purchased I asked to speak to the warehouse manager and he said yes I could purchase it at the reduced price and made it happen immediately. My question is why in the world did that person at the return counter say what he did?? Some of the employees now at the warehouses seem to take great pleasure in giving their members a very hard time. Costco Senior Management needs to look into this and get it correct ASAP.
