Absolutely shocking and abysmal customer service. They don’t care! After waiting months finally got told my sofa was available for delivery, then had to wait over a month for an available slot! Called on delivery date as had not heard anything, but they said it was out for delivery don't worry! It never turned up! I called and was told they didn’t understand why as everything was fine. Called again today to be told that my sofa is in a warehouse which is now closed, so I can’t have it and I have to wait up to 6 weeks of a refund! They seemed to think it was ok to keep what is effectively my sofa and my money for this long! The website is still “promising” existing orders will be fulfilled - clearly a lie! Never had such bad customer service or been lied to so many times by one company! Don’t give them your money without asking them to check which warehouse your items are in! Good luck to anyone still waiting!

I ordered a sofa and chair which was due for delivery towards the end of September. The furniture turned up on the wrong day 4 weeks early and had to go back. When it was due it didn’t turn up. After ringing them I was told they had nothing on record and to wait and see if it turns up which it didn’t. So I rang again whereby I was told I would receive my furniture the following week. I received a message to say when that day it would be delivered, but it also advised it had been taken off route, again it didn’t turn up. I can only assume they couldn’t be bothered to bring it due to going into administration When I called again was told that the delivery men had called and even took a photo of my door which I later found was untrue and they were not prepared to come out again so they cancelled my order. I then had to cancel the finance and I have had to re-order from a more reputable company meaning I have to wait another 10 weeks for the furniture to come. Totally appalled by their customer service and the way I hVe been treated.

This is my Harveys and PWC Experience and why 1star is all they deserve. Our furniture was ordered on 20th February and was told around a June delivery. Had 4 emails between 20th March and 15th May all saying the same thing. It was delayed due to lock down. Last one received 19th June say they were working and dealing with orders. I didn't even know they had gone into administration until I passed by shop. Then started my enquiries. Shop told me all orders will delivered. Tried phoning only to be cut off several time. Tried emailing to be told error and not sent. PWC I cannot contact at all.
Next time I heard was towards end of August to say my order was not on this delivery would be delivered end of September. Not heard anything since. Shops closed. Tried phoning today to be told 53 minute wait.
Still emailing doesn't work.
I feel their customer service is appalling. I cannot wait any longer for this furniture and want my deposit back so I can start looking elsewhere. As locked down finished we had rooms decorated and new carpets fitted with no trouble from these people. Just no furniture to ait on.

I ordered a couch in January. Which totalled £2800 , I signed a legal agreement for our 4 year no interest payment plan and put down £300. After they had gone into administration we knew it would be delayed , in which we could deal with. We have been in contact with them over the last few months and they continue to say all is great, and we should expect a call in the next few weeks for it to be delivered. The guy then says to me , before it’s delivered I need to pay the rest of the balance of £2500 BEFORE ITS DELIVERED. I explained this is incorrect and we have a payment plan put in place. They guy proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t processed correctly and this isn’t possible for us to do anymore. So my options are now to pay out £2500 in FULL or cancel my order completely. AFTER signing a legal agreement and having an invoice cannot honour it. So now I’m basically screwed. It’s absolutely disgusting how they are treating customers. And why didn’t they tell me any of this during the times I spoke to them over the last few months. Absolutely pathetic

I ordered a leather corner sofa, chair and footstool in February and paid £300 deposit. Well after lockdown we didn't expect to receive it for some time, and then Harveys went into administration so I began to lose all hope of ever receiving the furniture even though I received an email saying that all orders previous to 30th June would be honoured. I phoned numerous times to customer service to be told various stories of when it would be expected (each call taking about an hour). I emailed numerous times, only 2 were returned with an expected date. Then on 4th September out of the blue I received 2 texts informing me that my furniture would be delivered on 10th September. The 10th came and went - no delivery. I phoned and they said that the furniture was coming into the distribution centre on 10th and wouldn't be delivered to me as I hadn't paid full balance, and that somebody must have made a mistake. They would check and call me back with an update - no calls came. I called again. They confirmed that my furniture was in their warehouse and they would get it sorted. I received a call on Monday 21st September to say that they have my furniture and it can be delivered on Friday but I need to pay the balance now - hesitantly I did on a credit card. I was to receive a text on Wednesday with details of am or pm delivery. No text arrived on Wednesday. I phoned on Thursday to be told it's still saying Friday delivery. It didn't arrive though so I phoned again on Friday. They blamed computer error and it hadn't been put on the delivery van. I phoned them on Monday and Tuesday and said I would be phoning them every day until it arrives - I even offered to pick it up from the distribution centre which is only about 5 miles from where I live in Bristol. Suddenly I get a phone call late Tuesday afternoon to say that they can deliver it tomorrow as the distribution centre is closing and Wednesday is their last day. 7 am Wednesday my furniture arrived! The delivery men said that the warehouse is now empty (not sure if they have other warehouses in other parts of the country). I don't know if we were lucky and had the last of the orders or if they are going to honour any others outstanding. But that's not the end - whilst I was sitting on my new furniture Wednesday evening I received an email informing me that they have had my furniture for some time but couldn't get hold of me so they have no choice but to cancel the order and I needed to contact them with details of where to refund my deposit. The next day I received the same letter by post - unbelievable. This just goes to show what a shambles their administration is and they just don't know what they are doing. I've given 2 stars as I have actually got my furniture and it is really nice.
PS if you want to phone them try 9 am as you'll get through the quickest - and ask for Adam as he was the most helpful and got it sorted.

I want to cancel (and e/mailed this request) and go elsewhere but don’t know where I legally stand. Only paid £100 deposit, so will walk away from that.
Can anyone confirm contractual obligations i.e can we walk away?

Disgusting - Zero Customer Service
Disgusted. Ordered sofas in Feb. Promised time and time again goods would be delivered. Chased again this afternoon and surprisingly got through on the phone quite quickly. Got told order would be in UK 01/11/20 and we'd be contacted to arrange delivery. Within ONE HOUR received an email from Benson Beds saying order cancelled and I need to email Harvey's email address yet again (email address I have received no response from for over 2 weeks) to get my deposit refunded.
If you are waiting for your furniture unfortunately I don't think you will receive it. Zero customer service.

Don't bother!! It bounces back!!
After speaking to a customer advisor I was told that they couldn't fulfill my order which was placed in January, and I had put down a hefty deposit !! And to chase a refund using the very same email address . This is shocking!!

This is not aimed directly at Harveys as I found them excellent, Its about the stainguard warranty they sell.
I had cat damage to a leather recliner with a 2 inch hole in the end panel. I was told it was covered for pet damage but apparently it has to be a single one off act of damage and not an accumulation of attacks. How they tell without being there at the time I dont know, I wasnt claiming for the scratch marks just the hole. The moral of the story is if you see your cat heading for the sofa toss them a knife to do a good job, then phone stainguard straight away, then your covered.

Another update.
Someone rang me saying they were harveys and were going to refund my deposit but they needed me to use my keypad on phone to put in all bank details, long number, sort code account number, number on back of card, expiry date etc, so they could refund me.
I didn't feel happy with this it didn't feel right
Phoned bank and they had never heard of this before.
Please be careful.

Apparently they can't tell me If my sofa is even in the country or when it may arrive.

They don't give a stuff we were told lie after lie even talk that someone had bought the order book and if I waited another two months I would definitely get are furniture and given a discount for having to wait nine months. Received a phone call this morning we are not going to receive are order , this is absolutely criminal people have waited patiently and paid good money only to be discarded.
The people dealing with the administration should be struck off and never be allowed to do business ever again as they have no interest in the customer only their pockets.
Of course we are left with nothing but a bad taste in her mouth with no recourse against anyone.
The law needs changing to protect the consumer before the creditors.

Ordered on the 14th of January. We were told it would be ready in April. Unfortunately that did not happen and was advised delivery would commence after lockdown. I didnt chase this up and to my horror they went in to administration. I called and was told the order would be ready in August. When i called then I was told October.
I didnt have my hopes up but to my surprise they called me to arrange delivery and took the final balance last week.
It was delivered today with care and installed. Although a little stressful as were kept in the dark they did come up with the goods!

I wish I could put zero stars! This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a sofa company. We purchased our sofas and paid in full back in January, we were meant to have it delivered end of April, understand we have had lockdown but they have now had our money for over 9 months and have given us numerous delivery dates since June! The last two phone calls we have been given the date 30th September, we phoned today to confirm again and they say they can’t give us a date again! I will be fuming if they say it’s cancelled because I wish they said that when they went into administration because I could have bought another sofa from somewhere else and received it by now!
They can only email the suppliers apparently, which is crazy and so we have to wait until the end of the week! I’m not holding my breath though! Shocking!!!!!!!

We ordered our sofas at the beginning of January and they were expected end of March, we had two text messages about the halt with Covid but we would get them as soon as possible. I then heard that Harveys went in to administration and phoned them in August to be told our order was going ahead and expected end of September, after trying the number the sales assistant gave( which doesnt exist) and phoning customer service for half an hour i eventually E-Mailed and still no answer, so here we are end of the month and a letter arrives saying they have cancelled the order and our deposit will be refunded!!!! im fuming as i asked the woman when i phoned in August if i was definatley going to get this as i would rather have known then if i needed to look for something else!! so angry and disgusted with it all

Appalling Customer Service
Like many others, we placed an order for a Pegasis Corner Sofa on 19th January. The order should have took 17 weeks to be delivered and we was expecting delivery around April. We are aware that Coronavirus would have had an impact on receiving these goods, however we made orders from other retailers and all these goods were delivered without an issue. We are now in September and we still have no idea what is happening with our order. Every time we have spoken to someone from customer services (which you'll need to clear at least an hour of your day to be on hold), we are met with the same message of them not knowing when the order will be delivered. Any marginal update we received was given to us because we chased for an update when there should have been regular updates for my order. We are now in the process for getting a refund on the deposit we paid for the sofa but again I'm not confident we will hear from them soon. This is one of the worst customer services I have experienced and I wished we had never placed the order with Harveys in the first place. Wish us luck the refund!

I returned a sofa 31 days ago to Harvey’s. I have had no email updates. I have called Harvey’s 4 times each time waiting over an hour to be told the refund team will call within 30 days. No one has called. Up to this point Very annoyed
