I’m fed up completely with this company, clothing overpriced and buckle boots like vegan faux leather. I’ve sent back boots but have been hit with import fees that the company say they have dealt with but didn’t. It even states on their website that there are no import charges..So I sent back product and now I’m being pursued for £240…. All emails not been answered. Won’t be buying from this company again. Temu are selling similar items and some are nicer materials….
I'm so gutted that this seemingly lovely brand turned out to be an absolute shambles and so utterly dreadful that I will now never buy from them again. I purchased 2 items back in June and was emailed by Mikuta who told me to ignore any requests from DHL to pay £77 worth of Duty (never referenced at the point of purchase so this was completely new news) as they would pay. The items were delayed due to whatever Duty issue was being sorted and when they were eventually delivered some several weeks late/later, I had naturally assumed Mikuta had paid the Duty as promised. Fast-forward to the start of September and I receive a letter from DHL demanding payment of the £77; I contacted both DHL & Mikuta, with the latter explaining they'd paid it and not to worry, "sending lots of love"....we then get to mid-Setember and I receive a letter from a debt recovery company, demanding £77 + £27 admin fee payment as DHL had given them my details as they had never received the Duty payment from Mikuta: all of this after being told 3 months previously and in recent weeks, by Mikuta, that they'd paid it. I cannot tell you how many emails I have sent Mikuta and how many responses I have received with the same wooly, lame excuses (we've paid it/we're on it/we've paid it but can't give you proof due to company sensitive info/we're looking into it and will get back to you etc. etc.) but couched in nauseating "lots of love" sign offs (I don't need their love but their action to get this resolved!)....as someone who would never not pay a debt, I was horrified to find myself being chased and threatened with court action unless the Duty was paid. I eventually gave up with Mikuta and paid the Duty as I didn't want the stress of the situation not being resolved and my integrity being questioned. To this day, in spite of more emails to Mikuta in the last week, I have heard no more from them. An absolute joke and such a shame as I had such high hopes for them.
Bought 3 dresses, material not as expected and definitely not worth the quality. When I tried to return 2 the system wouldn’t let me generate a return code. I contacted them and they told me it was my address and that this often happened. Advised to input my address differently, which still didn’t work. When I got back to them they told me I was now out with my 30 day return period and they wouldn’t let me arrange a return my end. No refund, no nothing. Now I am left with 2 low quality items and out of pocket 170 pounds. Pooorest customer service I have experienced in a long time. I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to proceed with caution😡
UK - Placed an order for over £400. Express delivery in 3 days.
Delivery deadline passed.
Contacted them. Nothing had been sent due to gaps in stock. No email to advise after taking full payment.
Requested refund. They ignored this and then proceeded to send two items. Sent a tracking number. That still hasn’t been dispatched. Clearly wanting to keep my money!
Utter shambles of a brand management to deal with. Zero customer service and more interested in making money over customer satisfaction.
The whole lot will be going back and im reporting them to trading standards in germany.
Absolutely the worst company you can deal with!!! I can’t even begin to explain but I’ll try. After literally over 20 emails this company can’t get it together… we are trying to return something that didn’t fit and we are getting excuses after excuse.. moving offices can’t find the shipping person… one of the items we ordered was returned to them…we never received it. They won’t refund our money…. It’s not our fault they can’t send me a shipping label!!! Going to call the credit card company and get my money back!!!! We are done with this company as this has been going on for a month now.

I am a massive fan of Mikuta. The clothing and accessories are well-made and well-designed. Their style aligns perfectly with my aesthetic and preferences. Besides the excellence of their products, the alacrity of their shipping is phenomenal, and I have never had an issue with their customer service. Mikuta is my favorite clothing brand, and I look forward to seeing their upcoming collections.

Mikuta is an exciting quality brand that listens to its customers! For me, as a soft rock lover & sporty type, comfortable style & cutting-edge chic are paramount. I love to feel pampered in quality clothes, that bring out my personality, look fabulous and keep me on-trend👌Customer service is great, and Yes you have to pay €10 to return items, but I get the clothes delivered, try-on and pick my best pieces. That’s great for what I need and want. Love the clothes are predominately made in Portugal too. Keep up the great fashion- passion lifestyle for me, Mikuta! X

I’ve been a huge fan of mikuta for years - I bought my first piece from them back in 2021 not long after they launched. Their pieces never disappoint - always high quality and always look great. I was so happy when they sorted out shipping to the UK as brexit obv made things more complicated. But whenever i buy something it arrives in good time with no problems. They also really engage with their customers which makes you feel like they value your custom.

I absolutely love the products I have from Mikuta. The brand is unlike any I’ve supported before. Their product quality and design is amazing but what makes them stand out is their dedication to get to know their consumers. 100% would recommend.

Be aware that you’re paying for style, not quality. The designs look great online, but in reality the materials feel cheap and poorly made. One of the T-shirts I received even arrived with an ink stain. Normally I’d return it, but after reading other reviews about their customer service—and knowing I’d lose more money on customs and return fees—I decided not to bother. It’s disappointing, because the style is appealing, but the brand seems to rely heavily on good photo editing to sell a dream that doesn’t match the actual product.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over two years and have spent more than $8,000 on this brand’s clothing. Because I’m in the U.S., I also pay duty fees, which makes these already expensive pieces cost even more. Their shipments come through DHL, and my most recent order went missing for weeks. When I contacted customer service, the support was unhelpful—I was repeatedly told to “check my junk mail,” even though DHL later admitted they had never sent me an email with the payment link for the duty fees. Only after that admission did I finally receive my items.
I’ve never returned clothing before, but this time the jumpsuit I purchased didn’t fit properly. When I tried to return it, the website wouldn’t allow me to, even though they advertise refunds and exchanges. To make things worse, the jumpsuit had two tags, and while trying it on one got tangled in my hair and ripped off—I removed it carefully to avoid damaging the fabric.
After sending more than ten emails, my request for a refund was denied because of their policy starting from the purchase date. This makes no sense, since international shipping alone takes 3–4 weeks before customers even receive their order. Despite my history of multiple purchases and referrals, I was met with refusal after refusal.
Customer service is everything. A brand should value and listen to its loyal customers, not dismiss them. Sadly, after this experience, I will never order again. The clothes are far too expensive to justify the constant headaches, especially when many local brands offer better quality and far better customer service.

Although previously ordering and receiving items which I love I have had an awful experience for the second time. Item was stuck at customs and customer service was slow and not very personal, felt like it was a standard reply each time and not helpful. When I eventually did recieve the item and needed to exchange for a smaller size they would not offer a free return for my inconvenience. I am returning the item at my own cost and have decided not to exchange size as I don’t want to give my custom to a company who can’t seem to do the right thing.

Having read so many negative reviews, I initially decided against ordering, however, not finding a cardigan similar elsewhere, I took the plunge and ordered, with the certainty that I would regret it. I can honestly say that my experience was fantastic. Cardigan delivered in 3 working days (UK) and was super quality and beautiful. Please don’t be put off by the bad reviews, I will definitely be ordering again from Mikuta.
