Overpriced & Do not provide customer service
Here’s why they’re a 3.7/5 stars. They are extremely overpriced, do not provide customer service via phone, and they charge a $50-$189 premium PER VIDEO on top of the $99 base rate, for a 15 second video. They will lie to you and state that the premium is $50 per video, but inside the platform, you’ll see +$189 under each selection, so you’re paying about $288 per 15 second video. The premium creators are the ones that have a higher rating, as many “regular” creators on the platform only have a 40% completion and satisfaction rate, which is very poor. So you reluctantly have to spend $189 over budget for EACH video.
It’s a classic Bait & Switch company. I’ve already asked for a refund for my subscription.

ABSOLUTELY MONEY MAKING SCAM!!! I am a UGC creator myself and i have worked with some of the worlds biggest brands & I am absolutely shocked at the experience i had with Billio. The 'premium' creator i worked with was absolutely terrible with no creativity what so ever, out of 90 seconds she displayed our product twice in the whole video. It sounded super ad like and she did not follow our brief. My advice? Go to CLIP UGC or Fiver to get more professional creators.

They are scams
They are scams. We purchased a package for over $3k. First, they increased the video price by over 60%, then the package was gone, and now no one is responding. They are really good at taking the money, but after that, everything is horrible. Stay away from them. We are contacting the bank and filing a lawsuit.

Concept great, UX terrible.
The concept behind Billo is fantastic. Unfortunately, Billo is seriously poor from a user experience (UX/UI) perspective. Users should not find it so difficult to use the platform for the first time. I'm currently ordering my 3rd and 4th videos, and it's taken me a week to get my head around it. Regardless of your opinion, a user like myself shouldn't find it so difficult to navigate/take my intended action. Hopefully, the next UX sprint will be a complete overhaul, or I simply won't use it again.

2+ years of experience with Billo!
I’ve been working through Billo for over 2 years now and have absolutely loved it! It has allowed me to work independently for over a year and a half. I’ve gotten to work with super cool brands and Billo makes the video creation process easy. It’s great having their support team to deal with all the logistical things where I can just create the videos. The only reason I put 4 out of 5 stars is because the downside of using Billo as “the middle man” is that the payouts are a bit low comparatively.

Be patient, this is supposed to be for fun
It has been great. I’ve learned a lot about creation and how large my imagination can get. I highly suggest being patient and keeping things simple and you will find Billo is as good as it gets.

Great for creators. I’ve been a creator on Billo for about a year and have had a great experience. It’s easy to apply to create content for brands, they have a good variety of brands, and the process of uploading content is easy. Payment is always made on time and customer support has always gotten back to me same day to resolve any issues.

Awful awful customer support
Awful awful support. You will wait days, if not an entire week to hear back from customer service on time sensitive projects that affect everyone involved. This goes for both the creators and the clients. I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t know if they simply don’t care or they need to hire more reps, but I’ve never seen customer support this bad. They also overcharge brands like crazy for videos that should normally just go to the creators. Just go to Upwork.

Terrible Support
I like the platform (although be careful when ordering because it is not made very clear how the process works), but the creators have made us great videos.
That being said, their support is some of the worst I've experienced. We ordered 7 videos on Tuesday morning, and I didn't realize I needed to do them individually and did them together by mistake. We are in a bit of a rush to get the videos out for our campaigns this month.
Their chatbot is terrible, and their email support is even worse. I was connected with someone who seemed helpful, but had to submit the refund somewhere internally, which seems to be a blackhole.
It's now midday Thursday and still nothing has been refunded so I can order the rest of the videos and be done with this. It seems as though their entire company takes Thursdays off. After this batch of videos we will not be using Billo again.

Would not recommend. Quality is low and the platform is not user friendly.
The quality of the videos is not great. The talent pool also seems lacking, but they make it hard to search for talent as well, so you are stuck with who applies.
The worst thing is they auto approve videos and they don't do refunds if you pay for packages in advance, so be careful before spending large amounts.
