Pietra sucks - DO NOT USE

Pietra sucks, Horrible customer service. They are scammers!! BE AWARE !! I would not recommend anyone to use their services! I signed up for a 14 day free trial and they took my money instantly without me using any service. When i complained about it and tried to dispute they locked me out of my account and was unable to use their site. I paid for a full year almost $600 and then on top of that they took an additional $300 for a "Pulse charge" when i haven't even gotten a chance to use their site!!! So not only am I out of money, I don't even get to use the services I paid for. Then when i tried to reach out to customer service they stated "We're going to go ahead and wrap up this conversation for now"

I will tell the whole world that Pietra sucks just to save other small businesses to stay away!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Used them for fulfillment, including some stickering and boxing of my product. Numerous orders stickered diagonally, wrinkled, upside down, or not at all, and so many orders shipped without ANY product at all inside the package. We lost an entire shipment of our product (it was food), due to their negligence and our reputation was severely damaged based on the terrible packages people received of spoiled and improperly packaged goods. Avoid at ALL costs. Even trying to reach someone and escalate when issues arise is a nightmare with them.

Beware

They charged my money, didn't give a working subscription, refused to refund and immediately charged me once again. Trial ended in 1 minute not in 14 days. Literally generated one image for $40. No button to cancel subscription. Website is not usable.Beware. Very bad experience.

UPDATE: It can not be cancelled and I have screenshots of my account that show they hide this button until you pay for your membership, By the way they are very aggressive. They fight my review and try to take it down also reported me several times. Very aggressive behavior.

Beware of $1,600 Auto-Renewals, But Customer Support Eventually Helped

A new company that conveniently does no refunds on auto subscriptions of $1600. Something doesn't feel right.

I signed up for the free trial because I wanted to try some of the features and see how much value an all in one platform could offer. After a few days of saving some of the suppliers and initiating conversations, I quickly noticed that I didn't need all features so I changed my plan to the $9.99 monthly plan assuming if I have 1 plan, other plans would shift to this price. Not at all.

When this happened, I reached out to their customer support team for help. In response, they sent me in an automatic email responses telling me that I cannot get a refund for the charge that I cancelled prior to resubscribing. When I was finally able to get a hold of a person, they proceeded to tell me no refunds period despite the mistake being from an issue on their end. On top of this, I spoke with my friend about this and she tried it as well since I had mentioned that I was trying it. She started a free trial but had left it without inputting any information as she planned to set it up in a week. She got a whopping $1600+ charge after the free trial. Since I recommended it to her, I decided to email customer support for her. Same responses I received. I was eager to get a refund as she was not in the best financial situation. With all of that share with the customer support, they said no refund. With all the same stories echoing, this business seems to be taking all the money it can get. I've never seen a software company like this. My boyfriend is a senior software engineer and has shared that most software businesses are free or charge a small fee to start in order to drive innovation. This is not that. It seems there are other positive experiences so this may be a valuable tool however with this much risk of how they are handling situations with customers, I would recommend another tool.

Update: The customer support team reached out to schedule a call and was really helpful in working something out. If you've had a negative experience, I'd recommend talking to someone on their team to help resolve it! Best of luck!

I just got a charge on my account for $1800 signed up for a free trial. Didn’t even use it cancel within a couple of days of the subscription trial and my bank notified me of them trying to charge me $1800 pretty much a scam to me

Unauthorized transactions were made

I've experienced unauthorized transaction ($811, all of it was canceled, but physical package arrived to my address) with my card and identity. I sent an email regarding this, and haven't received any reply. I'm preparing to report this to legal channel if there's no contact from this company.

Update: The company did some investigation for me and provided the information about fraud attempt. However, the initial investigation lacked details and essential information. Also, although the company contacted me thr this review, it doesn’t change the fact that their customer service is very hard to use and not convenient at all.

Feels like a money grab

Feels like a money grab. I signed up for the free trial because I wanted to try some of the features. Didn’t even use the main ones like creating a shop or finding a supplier, and the one I did use (ai product designer) was not as effective as I had hoped.

Without really using any features, they rolled me into a $200 per month subscription. And no refunds - surprise surprise.

When this happened, I reached out to their customer support team for help. In response, they sent me in an email loop (powered by their AI chatbot) where they told me in 8 consecutive emails they don't offer refunds. and would not answer my questions or help. There wasn't a way to get real support, and for $200 per month, that felt pretty impersonal (added in response to merchant's comment since I can't reply back).

There are a few competitors out there now so I would skip this one. It feels too much like they want money and don’t care about retention or CLV. They just want that one-time $200 fee.

As other comments have said, these reviews mainly would have to be fake. Customer service is terrible and aggressive. The platform is lacking the standard of quality it is selling. The tools do a mediocre job. It seems they sell big knowing their product isn’t that great then make it near impossible for someone to cancel.

Great Fulfillment Partner with Exceptional Customer Support

We’ve had an excellent experience working with Pietra, and I can’t say enough good things about their team — especially our account manager, Hollie. From day one, she has been proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure our orders are processed efficiently and with care.

Fulfillment Nightmare

Our experience with Pietra has ranged from overwhelmingly frustrating to completely heartbreaking. The platform overpromises but underdelivers at every stage, and the number of errors and mismanagement of our account has been incredibly damaging to our business.

Fulfillment Issues: Dispatch times at the warehouse are extremely slow, leading to canceled orders and unhappy customers. Orders were frequently kitted incorrectly, forcing us to constantly monitor every step of the process to ensure things were moving.

Platform Problems: The platform itself created numerous inefficiencies. It did not allow partial fulfillment for orders with multiple items, forcing unnecessary delays. We had to manually “unbundle” orders and create workarounds in the system just to get them processed correctly. Orders were automatically moved from “Outstanding” to “On Hold” without reason, further slowing down fulfillment. Inventory syncing was unreliable, and tracking updates were inconsistent, making it nearly impossible to provide customers with accurate shipping details.

Holiday Season Disaster: The final straw for us was this past holiday season. Despite numerous planning meetings in preparation for the busy holiday fulfillment, everything fell apart once our inventory arrived at the warehouse. What followed was a parade of errors, delays, and a never-ending struggle to get orders properly fulfilled. We are still cleaning up the mess two months later.

Choosing Pietra was not only an incredibly expensive mistake for our business, but it also cost us our reputation with many customers. For brands looking for reliable sourcing, fulfillment, or e-commerce support, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I am truly shocked and disappointed by the allegations and assumptions made in your response. I can assure you that I have only written one review and have not been contacted for resolution outside of the conversations I have already engaged in—all of which I have responded to. I purposely hid my full name to protect myself from potential retaliation.

My review is based on my personal experience working with Pietra over the past 10 months. Every point mentioned can be substantiated through multiple email exchanges with my account managers and Pietra executives.

I believe my review provides a fair assessment of only a handful of the many, many challenges I encountered with Pietra. Your response to my honest feedback has only reinforced my dissatisfaction. I stand by my review and remain firm in my recommendation that fellow business owners and creators approach this organization with caution.

The positive reviews for Pietra have to…

The positive reviews for Pietra have to be either fake or from businesses so small that they don’t experience the full extent of the platform’s failures. Having worked in supply chain for 15+ years, I can confidently say that Pietra is one of the worst platforms for both suppliers and fulfillment.

First, they claim to vet their suppliers- this is simply not true. Many of their suppliers lack basic certifications for ethical working conditions, and the quality of their products is often subpar. Their platform for supplier communication is outdated and inefficient, making collaboration a frustrating experience.

Now, onto fulfillment- this is where I strongly advise businesses to stay away. Pietra’s fulfillment services are not just bad by U.S. standards but globally unacceptable. My partner’s inventory sits for for weeks without being shipped. With thousands of order's they have shipped out, not ONE has been dispatched in 2-3 working days. Their customer service is abysmal, and despite customers placing holiday orders well in advance, over half never even shipped. Employees at the fulfillment center have no idea what is going on, and there is zero internal communication. Many packages get lost or go missing, a common issue that I’ve seen reported by other clients as well.

Pietra is not a reliable or professional fulfillment partner. If you value your business and your customers, stay far away.
