Seems this is the only way I can…

13/6/2025 - Seems this is the only way I can actually get hold of you. I sent an email to cancel my subscription and got the reply you have to go into the app. I don't have access to the app and as such am unable to cancel my subscription. Well one star if this is the only way to contact you.

16/6/2025 - I'm unable to login, that is the problem... I don't get the code sent to my mobile... Far simpler to have an email I can send the request to.

18/6/2025 - Still no reply!

Again still not able to cancel my subscription seriously, you are showing on here how hard it is.

I like the platform and have used it…

I like the platform and have used it for 6-7 years, however I've just tried their customer service via Whatsapp, it took 23 mins just for a simple request of changing my bank account, deleting one and verifying another. Then they simply said they are sending this to the bank end department and wait for an email. It then transpired they ignored the verification request complete so I'm still stuck on the whatsapp chat... after half an hour they have finally asked for the info to verify the account..... Seriously get this sorted over 30mins for a simple request.

Had a problem when getting the invert…

Had a problem when getting the invert to communicate with the batteries, logged a ticket and within a few days all sorted. Exceptional. It good to know that when things go slightly wrong you can get hold of someone to fix the problem.

Lidl is now pre authorising your card EV charging…

Lidl is now pre authorising your card £40 for using their EV, if not used then it will be refunded within 48 hours... well that then end of Lidl for me. Seriously this only happens at Sainsbury's and is the reason I've not been back to them since either.

I expect the below to fall on deaf ears, however someone wants to keep the below when you see your market move to Aldi as we move forward in an EV world.
I used to use Lidl and charge my car, however recently the local Lidl has transitioned to Lidl Plus to charge your car. I have no problem with supermarkets transitioning EV charging in house. However it came as quite a shock that my card is pre authorized at £40, even before I even went into the store use it.  
PLEASE think about this for one minute, I shop at Lidl as it's far cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury's etc... however on a par with Aldi. Whoever the Director or senior manager responsible for this stupid policy needs serious talking to. I generally spend around £50 - £60 when I come to Lidl, and it takes around 30 - 40 mins... I then charge my car, for 40 mins I'll get 15kw, approx £10. So here is the PROBLEM: I'm pre authorised £40, and I want to spend £60 in the shop, I know I have to have £100 in my account, now for a senior manager/ director this is pocket change. However for the majority of your customers is not, as such you leave me no option but to go and shop are your rival ALDI.
As I say, anyone with an ounce of sense would foresee this, and as we move more towards an EV world, Lild will wonder why their footfall begins to stagnate or fall, and their EV's are not getting used as much.
Please make sure this does go up the line, and not just seen by low level management who will simply ignore it.
I'm going to pop this on a trust pilot review so when footfall falls it's at least seen, and others don't get caught out in the same way.

Exceptional

Exceptional, I'm 5'4" so quite small for a man. Try and get a pair off the self with a small rise, since a regular rise puts the waist of the jeans just under my ribs so its impossible. I tried Makeyourownjeans, just to see if they were any different. Well all I can say is I'm seriously impressed, they take a few weeks to make and arrive, but since they are all made to measure then hey its going to take a couple of weeks. They arrived, and the workmanship is exceptional, and the fit is perfect. Yes I needed to make sure I measured correctly, but the website helps immensely with showing you how to do this. I ordered just one pair to test, however I'm now ordering another 3 pairs and since my measurements are now on file its simple and easy.... All I can say is make sure you ask someone to help measure, and then give it a go. I won't be shopping at the general stores again, bespoke is the way to go. Thanks Dom

Just receiving a parcel via UPS

Just receiving a parcel via UPS, I followed the email to track the parcel. In the email it gives you an option to to change your delivery options - What a joke - This can only be done for future deliveries not present deliveries. All I wanted to do was put it that the road may be flooded due to the recent storm, so call a couple of minutes out, and I'll meet at the end of the road. Every other delivery company can do this, yet UPS can't. Now i've ended up with all my details been held by UPS as I needed to create an account to find out the above. Simply don't bother and save yourself all the spam.

I've recently transferred to Utilita

I've recently transferred to Utilita, the first problem began with trying to pay via the app, the payment menus were unavailable. Called twice to try and get a resolution, finally 2 days later the menus became available in the app and I was able to put a prepayment on the app. I have since tried to add a card so the payments are automatic. However this is my 3rd call to resolve this one, and its still not sorted. First call, they went through the procedure uninstall app , etc.... said it would get sorted - nothing. Called again on Friday around 4.30pm same again, said reinstall but this time sent me a text to get the latest version.... it the same as the one on Google Play as it simply sent me there. They said don't open the app for an hour and then try, I asked what time they closed and they said 8pm, guess what called at 5.30pm as the install made no difference, and hey yep they were closed. Call again today, they have now raised a tech issue and it will take 5 - 7 working days for them to look into it!! Asked if I could raise a complaint... yes it will take 5 to 7 working days. This is really bad and my first impression is why have I come over to Utilita.... You have brough this review on yourself. Thank you for your reply Pete, as you have come back to me and have tried to sort I have amended the experience to a 3 star.

Very poor service

Very poor service. I rang to see a property which in the description had a very short lease, at the time I made the appointment I specifically asked how they had come up with the price since the term on the lease was very small. The person who made the appointment said she would ask the valuer (Will) and come back to me. It was great I got to see the property the next day, however no answer or call regarding the valuation. I was up in Bridgnorth that afternoon so popped in the office to try and get an answer to my question. I had already done a search on Land registry and could see the freeholder and leaseholder were different. So, on arrival at the office, I asked what was for sale, was it just the leasehold or freehold as well? Still not able to get an answer, and no answer to my original question regarding the valuation. Again, same answer I’ll get Will to give you a call. At this point I asked if I could get a copy of the lease, since this is the legal document which say how a lease works, without this it’s impossible to make an offer on the property. Finally, the next week I got a call from Will, he said it was the freehold for sale, which I was surprised since the Freehold was held by someone different to the leasehold. Will also advised the freehold would supersede the leasehold so there would be not problem, this is not right and incorrect. The lease outlines the relationship between the freehold and leasehold. I asked Will if he could get me a copy of the lease, and after a dodge of the question he confirmed he had seen the lease and would get me a copy. Then I noticed the website had changed to say Freehold and Leasehold where in the sale. I was under the impression it was the duty of the estate agent to follow the code and check who owns the property prior to sale to protect all parties involved. A simple look at the freehold and leasehold would have highlighted a problem. I spoke with Will on the Friday and said please can he call me late next week with an update even if he didn’t have one. Come Thursday, still no call back, so I called, again the person said they would leave a message for Will to call. Nothing, late on Friday I called again…. Had to leave a message and its no Tuesday and still no call.
Seriously, no one had a clue what they were selling, leasehold, leasehold and freehold… plus no one knew that the freehold is held in a different name to the leasehold so a lot more difficult to sell unless you have agreement from both parties. No one had checked the ownership of the property as a simple check shows different owners. Last is the exceptional pour service no calls, back, no info… I can only say you have brought this review on yourself.
Would I trust Nock Deighton to sell my property? Not a chance.
For reference I saw the property on the 27th June, and its now the 16th July and sill no answer.

REVIEWS ON CURRYS - JVC LT-43CR330 Roku TV 43" Smart Full HD HDR LED TV - I'm unable to leave a product review on Curry's so I'll leave it here. This TV's sound is so bad its not fit for purpose, I'm amazed JVC has made such a low quality product. You need to buy speakers or soundbar to be able to use the TV, not what it tells you in the description or box. Don't get caught out - Look on Reddit (Not Curry's reviews), you will see the real reviews of this product so you don't just rely on mine, Hope this helps. Also, since your unable to leave a review on Curry's where are they getting their reviews from?

Exceptional, very helpful from start to finish. Naturally fitting the door does require some skill, however the great price means you can still employ a local window person to help fit them. Saved me around £3.5K if I'd have ordered them from a general firm. Well worth it.

Try to actually get though to NatWest almost impossible, hopeless. I've been with NatWest for 25 years, and have now moved my account away to Chase which do answer the phone if you need help. Just sorting out the final closure which is taking ages.

We seem to be having the same problem…

We seem to be having the same problem as many on here, I've just read the last 2 weeks reviews and all are very poor. Is there a bigger problem? We ordered Dahlias said they were dispatched, didn't arrive. They then blamed the currier company, they then changed our account to order unfulfilled. Clearly they had never been dispatched in the first place. Took countless time contacting them to get a refund, only to get the price of the bulbs not the delivery charge. Tried several times to get the delivery charge refunded, they are simply ignoring us. Looks like after reading the below it's time to take it further.

Be careful

Be careful, seems to come across as a lot of "eco" journalist helping. However, having filled out the questionnaire for solar and battery and been matched. It became apparent very quickly its nothing to do with "eco". I asked the matched company to quote for an off grid system, only to be told that I could not do this? Well this was a shock, no law to say I could not go off grid. After a conversation explaining I could go off grid and its perfectly legal they did go off and come back to say that there inverters cannot support off grid, they always grab electricity from the grid to power such things as kettles at the start. OK finally the right answer, however if the "eco" is to keep you locked into the grid then no. Look at the % increase in your standing charges for electricity, you'll notice its way above the actual % usage charge, why.... well I suspect its going to continue and if you have a solar system reliant on the grid your standing charges will become a significant part of your bill in the next 5 year with little way out. You could always get a generator? I sent an email to "eco" over 7 days ago asking why the above... yep no answer from "eco". Simply ask the same questions I asked, you don't need to reply on this review, its your decision.

Sadly you just end up on hold for…

Sadly you just end up on hold for customer services, been trying 2 hours on Friday, left messages as well, Monday no different. Simply can't get through. Easy to get to sales, but then you can't speak to anyone. As such I personally will not bother. After sales is the most important.

I was a big advocate - But no longer

I was a big advocate, all seemed well got me up and running with broadband, SIM, elec and gas. I then moved, there were problems and it took ages to get the broadband sorted, but eventually it was. Two years later I am now trying to cancel the SIM as I no longer need it. Try getting hold of the cancellation department... Good Luck I've spent over 2 hours in the last two days and still not success. I sadly can no longer recommend UW, seem good but hopeless when you try to cancel something.

Thank you Sarah for sorting and calling me direct in relation to this review. However it has shown, I could not get through on the phone, even my rep could not get UW to call me, no reply to the messaging on FB site, no reply to a complaint I raised on the email. This experience shows if you need to cancel a service, then this is the only avenue you have.
