I have been using Chase ever since it became available in the UK. I have a current account and a savings account. I was very excited when I found out that Chase was at long last providing a credit card. As soon as I received notification from Chase that I could apply, I did that straight away and to my horror, my application was refused and no reason given and I seem to be unable to call and speak to a human being to find out why. I have been banking for more than 50 years and have never been refused a credit card. I recently retired and recently moved home so maybe that’s why I was rejected. I am now seriously contemplating closing my Chase accounts and moving to a bank that will issue me with a credit card.
Chase doesn’t help customers with fraud issues at all.
I had a fraud complaint about my account,I did police report.However from ches’s side nothing effective 😔.
Not a safe banking.
As a bank I find they were fine until you need them to do something a bank needs to do 🙄 they do not offer the services of other online banks such as Revolut or Monzo and beyond their initial interest rate are frankly total rubbish. Go elsewhere.
Absolutely waste of time , there account verification ID doesn't work . I tried 25 times but still not working, just delated the App and joined monzo insted .. Best decision ever.
Horrible. I registered for Chase business and Chase personal, and they just lock you due to "suspicous activity" if you are travelling a lot abroad. You have no chance to unlock your account via phone, even with a second account representative. I tried everything called 5 times. The customer service is also forcing to be polite but talking with a undertone that makes you feel like they don't even care. They cannot unlock it. You have to go physically to the branch to do so. My business account with a lot of money was locked for many months, inaccessible, until I had to go to a Chase branch physically. This is ridiculous and completely outdated for such a big bank.
Easy to install and use the app. Great "boosted" savings interest rate if you have a current account.
you ask for help .. you say can you change my name. and they still. send you a new card with the old name on. and. they nearly right but badly misspelled..
why deal with a bank. this is not in this country. or a branch near by can got to. for help.
I joined Chase a few months ago and liked the service however, when it comes to their credit card Chase doesn't offer a direct debit service to pay the credit card monthly bill (unlike every other UK credit card /bank). So reluctantly I won't be using the Chase credit card until they change this situation.
A real lesson that glitzy advertising and a seemingly good app does not make a good bank. I have used Chase for several years as a savings bank largely, because it offered decent interest rates, though the last 12 months' its rates have become really uncompetitive. I tried to move my savings account funds to my current account a few days ago and that's when problems began. After this transfer, I tried to move funds to my nominated bank account (my normal Barclays current account) and immediately ran into problems. Just to transfer to my nominated bank account, the transaction was held up. It took several phone calls, app messages and more to allow the first transaction to clear! Then it happened again! As I say, this was just a transfer to my nominated bank account. The agents on the phone gave the usual warnings about scams, but holding up these transfers and requiring phone calls to have them cleared is just unacceptable. Problems have multiplied since. I then decided to leave Chase and they have not managed to process this yet! Apparently, they have no account closure policy or guidelines on how long account closures will take. In the meantime, the funds sit there with Chase losing interest! Take my advice, don't be seduced by this bank - it doesn't deliver. Extraordinarily poor customer service as well to boot.
We have been with chase for 3 years. Within last 2 weeks a payment for £195 was taken from our account for a tiktok payment. Our tiktok account was hacked, details changed and blocked. We did not make this payment nor did we authorise anything on the app. When we contacted from chase we were advised there was no error on their behalf and advised there was nothing they could do! Our main issue was if there was a payment for £195 online who authorised the payment? There was no "approve payment" message on the app so why did the bank authorise this payment for an online purchase especially when payments are capped.
A police case has been opened for this fraudulent transaction. Tiktok has managed to retrieve the account and add more security. I am just SO surprised at the behaviour and actions by the bank. Now in process of changing accounts. I would advise to stay away from chase. Especially since all our wages went into that account.
Chase is such a scam
They sell foreign currency much more expensive then it is real value. They robbed me for $400 on euro. DO NOT BUY FOREIGN CURRANCY THERE! DO NOT BUY!!!!!
Like so many others chase Refused to pay a chargeback for a purchase not as described. All done over a chat service that took weeks of not knowing what was happening. Uk banks would have refunded given the evidence. Scared to use now in case it happens again. Great when thing are running smooth awful if something goes wrong.

Good interest rate but now unable to access my account via its app.
Despite providing photos of passport, driving licence and 4 selfie and 2 phone calls to Chase I'm still unable to access my account.
Problem remains unresolved!

I’ve been using Chase from the very start when they gave bonuses to join and refer a friend. Good old days ;-) overall app is super easy to use and easy to understand dashboard. I do assess my affairs often and so once cashback stopped on spending other than groceries and transport, I literally only spend on these categories from their account. Making It work!

Terrible company didn’t give me any notice and stopped my card for 2 months they repeatedly said my account was ‘under review’ no explanation just apologising over and over again. They said they had sent me a letter they didn’t then when I phoned again they said they had ‘closed my account’ again no explanation no apology. Don’t open a bank account with these people terrible service, terrible bank.

Cant deposit cash, cant deposit cheques. Until these services are made available chase is not a place for primary bank account Just good for cashback and round ups.

This bank is a shadow of it former self , Everything used to be great in the past . The overall process and interest rate has gone below average and i will like to warn others . Finding out about SPACE BANK and understanding how it works was a pivotal moment for me. The pay is good and i will forever stick to them.
