Weird network issue forced me to cancel
Into my second 12-month SIM only plan and my friends complained that they could not get me (intermittently), but I could call them, and the internet was generally fine. On every call I made out, a message popped up, "call forwarding active" and after a delay, I eventually got through. Took these two issues to customer services and after many hours with them, we could not find a solution. With manager approval, my early disconnection fee was waived and now I am an EE PAYG customer with no issues at all. Weird to say the least. My Huawei handset was originally on EE and was unlocked for use on Virgin, could it have been that? Google searches returned a blank. Anyway, I could not fault the service of ALL the advisors that tried to help me. They were polite, professional, friendly, spoke excellent English and answered the phone very quickly. Just a shame I had to leave, as their plans are very competitive.
