Just took delivery of my new sofa, Jon and Kyle were my delivery drivers. Great service, arrived on time with a call confirming they were in their way. Polite service, respectful and adhering to COVID restrictions.

Happy with Charlotter Tilbury products…

Happy with Charlotter Tilbury products but the courier service they are using is not great. Hermes take days to get the parcel to your home, messages come through saying the parcel is with Hermes and will be with you soon, but you wait ages. Then messages come through saying the two hour window for delivery has changed and it gets pushed back another day. Please change your courier service as its effecting your brand.

Reiss is my favourite place to shop but…

Reiss is my favourite place to shop but I am constantly being let down by the courier service used for on line shopping. Hermes are not getting the parcels out on time, the Reiss timescale is great but then it gets stuck with Hermes and you wait days. Messages come through saying your parcel is with Hermes and then nothing happens for days. Hermes are letting a good quality brand down by not delivering on time for Reiss. It makes me think twice about ordering online, change your courier service.

I think Next are great

I think Next are great, but they need to change their courier services from Hermes. The parcels are not delivered for days even though Next have confirmed a date. The pick ups are not picked up, I have tried three times to arrange a return and each time nobody turns up. Hermes are letting you down Next.

Appalling service and should NOT be…

Appalling service and should NOT be government approved.
I ordered our day two tests in good time of leaving for holiday, I did not have the test upon my return and I chased them. I was sent an automated email showing a tracking number even though this link clearing showed it was posted after my arrival date. I received the tests on day 4, by then I had sourced alternative testing. I have sent several emails confirming my cancellation and refund but nobody replies. This is disgusting, why is our government not checking these companies, or even checking reviews as it is clear everyone who orders from them are being let down.

Fabulous outstanding service at Boots Pharmacy Guisbrough

I have just moved into a new area and have chosen Boots Pharmacy at Guisborough for my prescriptions. I have never had such amazing, friendly lovely customer service from a pharmacy. Each time the gentleman who serves on is so polite and lovely to all his customers, he then goes out of his way to ensure all of your scrips are ready to take even when I am early and have gone for another script. Today I collected my husbands script which needed a payment, he explained how the pre-paid would benefit us and told me not to pay for my four items now but go online and set it up from today so I can pay through the pre-paid and save money. He was very trusting of me (I have set it up). But each time I go into Boots at Guisborough, they work their way through the queues as quickly as they can, apologising as they go, nothing is a trouble. It is so refreshing to see. Thank you to the team at Boots in Guisborough.

Hermes - slow and unreliable services - sort it out !

I used to live in Darlington and my courier service for Hermes was great, I have moved into Middlesborough and my deliveries are a nightmare. I have had two regular couriers (both whom have now left), the first one was great then it took the second one a while to get to know the drill (I had to give parcels back a many of times as they were for another number).
Anyway a new courier (or several) have got this round and I have waited days on end for parcels normally due within 24 to 48 hours, each time I contact the online shop they confirm it is with Hermes. Just when I think I am getting the parcel as I finally get a txt, I then get several text messages pushing the parcel back by 2 hours and then eventually a message saying not today !!
I wish online retailers would stop using Hermes until they can sort their services out, for me I am now choosing on line retailers who do not use Hermes as It is so unreliable.

Bad experience, but excellent customer service follow up, maybe it was a one off

False lead times and false promises are my first impressions of Perch & Parrow. It was the first time using this company but I was impressed with the quality of good on sale and choose my items using the estimated lead time on their website. All items in stock and with me in 14 days it said. Days and weeks beyond the 14 days I chased and I was told that all but one of my items was in stock and the outstanding item was imminent so they would wait a couple of more days to send everything out together. Bearing in mind it was a dining table and six chairs, this made sense. Days later nothing happened, I chased again and was told it was all with the warehouse who were allocating a delivery. Days later, nothing. I chased again and I was told the items could not be despatched due to one item still being outstanding. I explained I was told this more than week ago and then told everything was ready and with the warehouse. After the advisor chased up again, I was told no a few more days for the missing item. Days later, nothing. I chased again and I was told they will deliver all the items apart from the missing one as this was still delayed and they were prepared to release as. much as the order as they could. Okay I agreed, this meaning I would get a dining table and 4 chairs instead of 6, but I was just pleased to get something to eat and sit at, so I was willing to wait for the last pair of dining chairs separate.
I was told the items were now with the warehouse who is currently speaking to their courier service to allocate me an urgent slot. Days later , nothing. I chased again and was told it was now with the delivery company who had the items and they should be in touch anytime now with the delivery options. Days later, nothing. I rang the courier company instead who confirmed the Perch & Parrow had not provided anything to them yet, so there was no delivery slot to be allocated as far as they were aware. I rang back to Perch & Parrow who once again advised it was out of their hands now and the courier company had the items to deliver, I then called them out and said that was utter rubbish as I had just spoken to the courier company. I was then met with silence, I cancelled all my items and I would never use them again. Please don't state 'in stock with 14 days lead time' if you cannot deliver, then please do not fob your customers off with rubbish. It's a shame as the items looked lovely on their website, I have had to go elsewhere and spend lots of money with a competitor !

Upon writing my review the team at Perch & Parrow got in touch and quickly looked into my experience. Tara was very human with her response and confirmed how it had gone wrong and give me reassurance that this was not their normal practice. (to be fair the other reviews do indicate that too). I changed my 1 star review to a 3 based on the excellent customer service following up on my feedback and for the honest no quibble findings, I like that a company can say sorry when they got in wrong without giving excuses or hiding. Yes it went horribly wrong for me, but hopefully this was a one off and I feel reassured enough to give Perch & Parrow another go bearing in mind how nice there products appear to be.

All round shocking service

All round shocking service. Parcel expected yesterday and as the instructions insist on someone signing for it I stayed in all day. The status of my parcel was 'out for delivery', At 5.30pm the status changed to 'at depot' . The parcel had not been attempted and was back at the depot.
I rang the customer services (not sure why they are called this as their was so service at all), who advised they could not tell me why it had gone back, I explained that I could not sit in the house for another day, the advisor said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could advise it was back out and what time of the day it would be here, she advised she could not tell me anything and in fact I was not her customer, the company whom I ordered from are her customer and she cannot speak to me. I explained that I am the customer at the bottom of the chain , waiting in for this parcel and of which I am the customer let down as nothing has arrived as planned, she said she did not want to go around in circles with me and cut me off ! Appalling service, I do not know how businesses like this stay open if this is how they treat their customers. Let down twice, no delivery and disgusting customer service.

Misleading insurance company - price hacks !

Misleading insurance company, had my son on the policy for over a year, he is Royal Navy so I took him off when he went on deployment for 8 months. Attempted to put him back on upon his return and the additional premium was over 4 times more than the refund we got to take him off. They said it was a different car the last time - IT WASNT. They then said his risk had changed due to things changing on him - NOTHING CHANGED. They then said he was a greater risk - HOW. Shocking service, the advisors were just clutching at straws as they couldn't explain why.

Second to none - Fabulous facility and service.

Easy, straight forward and fabulous service , just exactly what I was looking for. The overall service of this facility from Halfords is second to none. I made my booking on line using a easy website, the booking took place the following day and my technician was on time, helpful and professional. The tracking of my order was easy, the communication on timings was super. I have misplaced the name of my technician, but I am hoping you can find his name through my order number 1043944, he was brill. He explained everything to me throughout the job, he re-set my settings for me in the car. Absolutely great job !!

Spot on overall service

Great , fast service with such a quick turn around on delivery. Items were packed very well and of great quality.
I later ordered another item which I then had to cancel, this was done very quickly and refunded quickly too.

Delivery drivers - spot on as usual ..

Great delivery service yet again from Paul Y and Louis D.
Bedroom furniture which was very heavy delivered to the room of my choice. Polite guys and friendly and efficient.
My only annoyance with B&S is still there refusal to take packaging away due to Covid (this is NOT the drivers choice , this is the B&S rule), other companies are taking it away , not sure why B&S insist on not so ..hopefully this will change soon as you pay a lot of money for furniture from B&S, the last thing you want is a trip to the tip too ! But thanks for the delivery lads.

Today I took delivery of my new bedroom furniture, the drivers were on time per the allocated time slot, they rang in advance to let me know there expected time of arrival.
Upon entering the house they were compliant with Covid and very friendly and courteous.

Simply fab service

Today I took delivery of a replacement table following my first table being slightly damaged. The team who brought the table today Chris and Louis were adhering to all Covid rules. Their delivery was on time, with a phone call of their due time and upon arriving they were polite, respectful and replaced my table with ease whilst taking the damaged one away. Thanks guys :)

A farce from beginning to end ...in fact not the end as still not resolved.

I placed an order on 20/05 and choose items which specifically were available and available for shipment for the 24th May. I later received communication to confirm one of the items for one of the hampers was out of stock and could I choose an alternative. I did this but nobody picked up my voice mail so I was later told that 1 out of my 4 hampers would be on back order and I would only receive 3 out of 4. A little annoyed but accepting this was the best I had to work with I agreed to it. However, no parcels arrived as agreed and I was left with nothing for my event on the 24/05.
I contacted Yumbles and asked for all the items to be cancelled as the event had been and gone.
I received no communication but on the 29/05 the full 4 cheese hampers arrived. The boxes were covered in grease and upon opening them most of the cheeses had melted. It was a hot day and the Parcel force van which delivered the items was not using a refrigerator to store, even though the box said items must be stored at a certain temperature due to being cheese a diary item.
I contacted Yumbles along with photographs and explained the whole ordeal, I was assured this would be looked into and was told the supplier (Chuckling Cheese) would look into this urgently. I explained the cheeses were not only to late to use, but not edible.
I was told on the 1st June that the suppliers who are chosen specifically for their customer service would be in contact within 2 days. However 4 days later I had no contact and once again contacted Yumbles who assured me that they would chase again and I would definitely receive contact. Now 9 days on nobody has been in touch. I am still awaiting a full refund and a response to this farce.
I appreciate Yumbles is using a third party supplier but this is not my problem as the customer, I choose the items on your website, at your agreed timescales and your customer service has been just as poor as the products (who ever is responsible for sending them out I do not know).
