These monthly subscription boxes can be a little hit & miss but generally contain a really good selection of products and always worth more than the price paid. They also do some amazing deals every now and then or larger selection boxes of products and the more you buy, the better value it is.

I love this company. The boxes are pretty and always contain a good selection of products which is great value for money. You can even earn points from reviewing the products each month which give you money off at LookFantastic! :) Their one-off boxes are also really good value and make lovely gifts.

I won access to TwinScience just over a year ago and must have given them my bank details at some point - I believe they gave me a years subscription for something like £7.99? I was never able to use this as I couldn't sign in. I just wrote off the £7.99 and forgot about it. I then received an email on the 14th of this month saying my account would auto-renew unless I cancelled. I emailed straight away to cancel and received a reply from Hasan confirming this and saying they were sorry to see me go. Then today, I've just checked my bank account and they have taken a payment of £47.99!!! This was unauthorised and had been cancelled. I have now spoken to my bank who have to issue a chargeback. I have also just managed to log into the account and it says I have no active subscriptions! So I don't even get anything for that £47.99?!
Don't give this company your bank details, they obviously can't be trusted with them.

As Twin Science, we use the secure payment platform Stripe. The refund may have been made but not yet reflected in your account. In this case, it will reflect in your account within 5-10 business days. However, if you can contact me, I would love to personally control and follow the process.
I placed 2 orders yesterday, totalling nearly £200 and paid extra postage for both for next day delivery. I received an email last night saying one had been dispatched but no mention of the other order.
I hadn't heard from Evri this morning regarding delivery so I tracked both orders and they haven't yet received either parcel from GorgeousShop. So they've generated a tracking number but not actually dispatched anything.
I then looked for a contact number on their website but there isn't one! I filled in the online form but as soon as I submitted it, I got an error page and it wouldn't reload!! I've just found a phone number online and it goes straight to answerphone, with a message asking you to email with any queries. I sent an email and got an automatic reply saying they'll respond within 3 working days.
I just want to speak to a person and find out why they haven't yet sent my order and if in fact they are planning to do so or don't have the items in stock. This is really poor customer service.

Amazing service from this company! I ordered a Broil King BBQ for my husbands birthday. The customer service team were excellent at tracking it for me when the delivery company hadn't updated their time slot and called me back promptly with an update. The delivery driver was also friendly and helpful, even unpacking it from the crate for me so I could get it through the gate, which wasn't part of the service. The BBQ was delivered in immaculate condition and looks really lovely now assembled.
We booked through Goldcar Key n'go at Malaga Airport as it was advertised as hassle free and with fully comp insurance, thus avoiding the hard sell once you arrive. We hired 2 small-ish cars at a cost of over £700.
Collection was fairly straightforward and quick, once we realised one machine wasn't working. We just had to scan a QR code and press a few buttons and the key dropped out with a receipt showing the parking location. Upon collection, both cars were clean and exactly what we had ordered, but the Focus had been in a previous accident. The back bumper was badly damaged and the back panel was coming away. Within a short while of leaving the airport we could hear a strange noise and when we pulled over, we realised the plate attached to the underneath of the car was held on with only one screw and was dragging along the floor, so we had to take it off and put it in the boot!
After this the car worked fine for the 2 weeks and we had a lovely holiday. We took several photos and videos of the car upon collection and drop-off as I've heard this company are awful for ripping you off so wanted to cover our backs! We dropped the car off in the same parking bay at 4am and deposited the keys in the box near the office. Easy.
Then, within a couple of hours of arriving home, we received an email from Goldcar with an invoice for over 36 euros for cleaning!!! The pictures they provided clearly show that all the car needed was a hoover - something that would be absolutely standard after every hire. We emailed back straight away saying this was unacceptable as the car would be hoovered anyway and they tried telling us it would require specialist cleaning, even though they would expect some debris on the floor! We always look after our car and keep it clean. This was purely standard dust & debris you would expect for a beach holiday. Having to deal with this crap when you've just come home feeling relaxed and recharged is not acceptable.
I have now raised this issue with our credit card, provided them with the evidence and will be fighting these excessive and unnecessary charges. I would advise everyone else to do the same so this company is stopped from stealing from it's customers.
I've ordered loads from LookFantastic over the last year and am always pleased with my purchases. I've had to return a couple of damaged or faulty items and this has always been handled professionally. The delivery saver plan is great value and I quickly build up loyalty points towards my next spend.

I've had several different couriers this year with Evri/Hermes who have been great and my parcels always arrive in good condition, although often quite dirty! I don't know if our regular guy is on holiday but 2 of the last 3 parcels I have had delivered, both of which contained over £100 worth of goods, have been delivered with the boxes smashed and the courier doesn't even wait for me to answer the door.
I looked back on the camera today and actually watched him throw a large parcel on the road while he went back to collect one he'd forgotten!! He then grabbed it by the gaping hole he'd created and dumped them both on my doorstep, then walked away before I'd got to the door. I've sent footage to the shop I bought from and will ask them to use another courier if this continues as I'm not paying my hard earned money for my items to be treated this way.
I send around 100 parcels with Royal Mail each week as an ebay seller so I know now what postage I need for each item. Just had a parcel returned saying there's a fee to pay of £3.50 as not enough postage was paid so my customer has rejected it. I've checked it over - it's a small padded envelope, it weighs 100g and I paid for Tracked48 Small Parcel 1kg, so exactly what I should have bought. I now have a customer who didn't receive her parcel which I posted 29 days ago and I have to try to get a refund for the postage cost through ebay as Royal Mail aren't interested. This was likely the Warwickshire sorting office as that's the delivery area so either they're guessing instead of reading the postage labels or they're trying to scam a bit of extra money out of someone!!
We bought a new Samsung washing machine from AO last week and the whole process was perfect. Ordering online was easy. We received a text on delivery day giving us a time slot and a phone call when they were 20 minutes away. The guys delivered the washing machine into my hall as requested and were friendly and polite. The packaging was pretty clean and looked well looked-after and the washing machine was in perfect condition. All-round great experience.
I ordered 2 Lancome gift sets which came with a few free gifts, 2 or 3 for each spend level. Unfortunately when they arrived, the mini bottle of perfume had leaked inside the bag. I left this unopened and emailed Sephora with pics. They apologised and said they'd send a replacement but when I opened the new parcel they've actually replaced one of the full sized gift sets, I'm guessing because the free gift is no longer available? This is great customer service!
I emailed Toucanbox to cancel my subscription more than 3 weeks ago, as my children have done all the crafts now that they want to do. I recieved a friendly but very pushy reply from a member of their team, saying he understands, but then proceeding to make me different offers to stay. I replied saying, 'No, I just want to cancel now please'. He then emailed a few days later to say he hadn't heard from me. I again replied saying I want to cancel, as I told him in my first and second email.
Today I've just had an email to say another box has been dispatched and when I checked my Paypal account they've taken another payment, which I now consider as unauthorised as I cancelled in writing. I now have to go through the process of waiting for someone at Paypal to be free to contact me to resolve this and if that doesn't work I'll have to go through my bank. This was all completely unneccessary, they should have just honoured my request to cancel.
Edit; I have now recieved an email from Toucanbox after leaving my review, to say they have refunded by payment and closed my account and that I can keep the box sent in error. They have asked me to edit or remove my review but it was an honest review of my exerience so I am updating it rather than removing it. I appreciate my account has now been closed, as I asked it to be 3 weeks ago but it shouldn't have got to this stage for that to happen. Had I not had this experience I very likely would have signed up again in future but now probably won't.

I've been considering signing up to Cohorted for several months as their subscription boxes always appear to be great value and the pictures show full sized products of well known brands. I just recieved my first box yesterday, several days after they've already taken the second payment and I'm pretty disappointed. There are only 2 full sized products, one of which had a damaged box, and the rest were sample sized. This is not the 'over £150 worth' that they sold it to me with. I also hadn't recieved the free gift which was advertised as a full size L'Occitane moisturiser. I contacted customer services, who replied pretty quickly and very politely but informed me the free gift advertised was now out of stock so the travel sized hand cream in the box was the replacement. I'd bought the subscription as it felt like really good value with the free gift too but now feel I've been misled and palmed off with a travel sized product so they can say I still recieved something! I've now cancelled my subscription as I think it's a really poor start. For nearly £40 a month - more than double the other boxes I subscribe to - I just don't feel it's worth it.
We bought the 'Lily' carved wood table from this company with a solid marble top. After an awful experience from the last company we tried I was concerned this may be damaged too but it arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and in just a few days. The table wasn't cheap but is great value for money and looks lovely in our lounge. Really happy!
I bought a few Christmas presents from Smyths this year with no problems at all. Delivery was free and my parcel arrived within a few days, all well packaged and all in working order. Unlike some other companies, Smyths packed the presents in a brown box so the children couldn't see what was being delivered. I've only had to return something once before and found their returns process hassle free. I personally think they're a great company.
I've ordered loads from this company over the last year. I pay a yearly fee for next day delivery - some items are delivered next day, some parcels aren't dispatched for several days and you have to chase them to find out when they will be dispatched. I placed an order at the weekend with next day delivery. I received an email yesterday saying it was delayed. Today I asked if it was actually in stock as I'd ordered and paid for 2 of them. I was now it has now been allocated for delivery but status is still showing as processing? Last time this happened I waited several weeks! 2 weeks ago I bought 2 identical gift sets and one of them was missing an item. I asked to return the set if they couldn't replace the missing item and was offered a partial refund instead. This has still not been issued so I feel I've been fobbed off!

I have had nothing but great experiences with this website and have been using them for several years now. They give away great free gifts with higher value purchases and my parcels are always packaged well and delivered in good time. They've only lost a star as I also recently discovered they are now testing on animals for their Chinese market! When companies are this big, do they really need the extra business if it means ignoring morals?
I've ordered from Decleor directly 4 times this year now and personally think they're great! The free gifts with purchase are very generous and delivery has always been in the specified time-frame. I also bought the advent calendar, and while there were a few sample sized products, there were also several high cost, full-sized items so it was well-worth the asking price. I've just ordered from them again so I'm defintiely a happy customer!

We ordered a hall table several months ago which was delivered quickly and exactly as described. This time around we wanted something a little different for the lounge. We found a table on Olivia's that looks hand-carved with a glass top and was reduced to £200. The table was delivered quickly by Parcelforce and was well packaged but upon opening we were very disappointed. Each side looks like a bad cut-and-shut with the flower pattern not matching up at all and some of them carved on one half and not the other. The cut out for the glass panel is also too small so that it only fits on three corners, with the fourth corner of glass sticking out the top. The whole thing looks like 4 mismatched pieces of wood, badly stuck together and a wonky glass top. It is not worth the £200 sale price, let alone the original price. We messaged Olivia's within an hour with photos to show the poor quality and said we wanted to return it. They have since messaged twice, fobbing us off and saying it's meant to be like that. They also said the glass isn't supposed to sit in the frame that's made for it, but sits on top. We used the rubber 'feet' that were supplied and now there is a gap all around the glass so it doesn't protect the top of the table at all, it just hovers over it! We told them this in our reply but they are completely ignoring this issue. They have twice told us we are welcome to return the table, but at our own cost!! Clearly this company are trying to completely avoid the Distance Selling Laws that consumers are protected by so we will now be going through Paypal and Resolver. This company sells some really nice-looking products but unfortunately the poor quality and lack of integrity from this company are not worth the high price tag.
After leaving this review, they have contacted us again agreeing to collect the table but pretty much accusing us of lying and saying they will inspect it in the warehouse and deduct the cost of postage from the refund if they don't agree with our reason for returning. This is despite us providing several photos to prove our point. And on top of that, we received an ornament yesterday from them which cost over £70 and is also broken!! No doubt we'll have another battle to get this sorted.

I signed up to this around 4 months ago now as we home educate our children. The boxes are really interesting and age-appropriate for my 5 & 7 year old. The first box comes with a big map and each months they can add stickers to the country and timeline they’ve learned about. So far we’ve done ancient Egypt, the Tudors and WWII and they’ve enjoyed them all.
