Excellent site

I've been using this site for several years now and have won loads of lovely prizes. Often I'll have a 'dry spell' where I go months without a win but after my latest spell I've just won a £1000 holiday voucher! Definitely worth doing if you have some spare time. There are a few companies advertised on there that are scams but the majority are genuine.

Great experiences so far

I've found Vinted a great place to sell after leaving eBay.
It's free to list items and they don't charge the seller a penny in fees so whatever you make is yours to keep. People do expect to pay lower prices but with no fees to calculate it's not a problem. They regularly have postage deals with Hermes where items can be posted for as little as 99p which makes the items a lot more attractive to customers.
I always post items by a tracked or signed for service unless they're really cheap after being stung multiple times on eBay but so far, all my customers have been really friendly and honest apart from one (where thankfully the item was tracked and Vinted paid out).
I'd definitely recommend it for selling off old clothes.

Great website!

I found this online shop when looking for childrens umbrellas. I was lucky to stumble across it when they had a sale on and ended up buying loads of bits I didn't need, just becasue they were so nice and such good value! :D
Everything delivered was great quality and lovely to look at too.

Awful company

My local courier was lovely but has recently left the company unfortunately.
I now have a courier who is very rude and abrupt and can barely speak a word of English. Which I don't mind so much if they have some manners at least!
To top it off, there is absoltuely no way to get hold of a living person at Hermes. I tried to arrange a return a couple of days ago. The label wouldn't print and kept showing a 'Bad Gateway 502' error code so I sent the parcel with Royal Mail. I've now discovered there's no way at all to cancel the return. The courier arrived yesterday and I sent him away, explaining what happened. He just said 'tomorrow?' I said 'no, I've already returned it thank you' and he left. I've just received an email saying my parcel will be collected today!! Still no way of contacting Hermes without a tracking number - which I don't have as the label didn't show up - so again the guy is going to have a wasted journey.

Only good for a week or two

I signed up to this site with a link from Moneysavingexpert.com with a £20 reward if I completed a certain amount of 'Swagbucks' points within 30 days.
I spent about 3 hours a day for nearly 3 weeks completing loads of surveys. This earned me an extra £10 worth of points and once I'd reached the threshold to collect my £20 bonus I cashed out in £30 worth of Amazon vouchers.
I left it a few days as I felt this was a LOT of my time for literally pennies once the bonus was no longer offered.
The last few days I've gone on to try to complete some more surveys and found I was limited to Peanutlabs surveys, which rinse you for information for 5 minutes each time before giving you a survey.
I clicked on the Gold Surveys link, which I had used previously, only to be told I had been locked out because I had given inconsistent answers!
The only thing that has changed is myself, my husband and my children have all just had birthdays so our ages have gone up a year. Pretty standard in normal life right??? But that now means I am blocked from earning any more money with this company. Or maybe they just now have such huge stock of my information that they don't need to know any more about me?
It was handy to earn a bit of extra cash for one month but certainly not a long term thing unless you want to get paid for playing hours and hours worth of games or signing up to paid-for services with other companies.

Will not use Amazon again

I've been shopping with Amazon for many years but have now cancelled both mine and my husbands subscriptions.
They repeatedly use couriers who can't understand a word of English and therefore don't bother reading the delivery instructions to find our address (which are really straightforward), then send updates that the courier couldn't deliver because we weren't home. I then get photos of someone else's house and when I contact Amazon to cancel the order and refund me the money for the item they didn't deliver, I'm put in contact with someone in a faraway place that the work has been outsourced to.
These people have no power to cancel the order or refund me and instead constantly patronise me with pre-written scripts. I am disgusted with the level of service from one of the richest organisations in the world. They have now lost our family as customers.

Awful service and dishonest driver

I'm so angry with DPD. I waited in 2 days in a row last week for an Amazon parcel. Both times I got a notification to say the driver tried to deliver - he didn't.
The second time, I went outside when I saw the van - he'd driven in the close next to my house but not bothered to try the house at the front with my address on the front!! Neither did they bother trying to contact me for directions, or read the instructions of how to find our house, which is on the main road into the village! I then got a notification with a photo of someone else's house saying he couldn't deliver so I had to cancel that order and buy elsewhere.

I've just been waiting again today for an expensive brithday present, again from Amazon and with the same driver, 'Stoyan' based in Essex at the Springfrield branch. Again he has not tried to deliver, he has ignored the very detailed description of exactly where our house is and has uploaded another 'sorry we couldn't deliver' message. This is totally unacceptable and very lazy!!
If the drivers cannot read English well enough to follow instructions, they should not be doing the job.
I have now got to source another 40th birthday present which will now likely be late and wait up to 2 weeks for a refund of the £120 I paid. It's disgusting!

Would take way to long to earn anything

I gave this one a try as they seem to be getting lots of good reviews. The surveys on my dashboard say I qualify based on my profile but I've been screened out each time I've started completing them. The Peanut Labs surveys advertised on their page have repeatedly screened me out every time. They'll ask a few questions, say I qualify, then after I've answered several questions, say they have enough responses. I've wasted well over an hour now and not earned a single point other than the sign-up process where they harvest all your data.
I appreciate they need people to meet certain criteria in order to qualify, but that's what I understood to be the reason you fill in a personal questionnaire at the beginning?
My personal experience is this one is a complete waste of time and would take way too long to earn the 1000 points needed to cash out.

Good bargains to be had.

I've ordered twice from this company now. There are plenty of bargains to be had but many items are also no cheaper than the supermarkets. The £1 value boxes I've ordered twice and both have contained around £10 worth of items, although many are quite random but can't complain for £1!
There is a minimum order value of about £23 I believe (?) which is fine if you're just after some bargains but not great for those on a very tight budget.
My first delivery went very smoothly but the second one wasn't great. The courier they use emailed me a time slot but didn't turn up. There was no way of contacting them and the tracking just said it had been returned to depot. I received no further communication from them with an update. It arrived the next day but a bit of communication wouldn't have gone amiss.

Excellent service

I ordered 3 items for my husband for Christmas. 2 of the items were fragile and one was a chopping board but they all came very well wrapped with tons of bubble wrap and in a box.
Delivery was very quick and I was notified of dispatch and delivery date.
Couldn't want any more from a company than that!

Been great for me!

I've only ever had good experiences with this company. I've been a member for a couple of years now and have tested 7 or 8 products for them.
Many have been baby products.
They're always cheap bits and obviously this isn't a huge amount for the time I've been registered but they're free! I just have to leave a review, answer a few short questions and upload a pic of the item which takes a couple of minutes.

Excellent company

I've always had great experiences with Moonpig and love their photo upload cards for the personal touch.
I ordered a birthday card for my son before Christmas and it didn't arrive, but when I contacted Moonpig they were very apologetic and refunded me immediately and even added a credit to my account.
I only expected the initial refund so this was lovely customer service, especially as the problem likely lies with Christmas delivery issues rather than Moonpig themselves.
I'd always recommend this company.

Too many glitches, not worth it

I joined this site a couple of weeks ago after reading some good reviews.
Once an inital glitch was sorted and it started paying out I was earning around £2.20 a day answering surveys.
I don't know where these people are getting the £300 plus a month from, it's almost impossible.
Last night I spent an hour answering a very detailed survey about covid which was advertised as taking 30 minutes. At the end it thanked me for my time and said I should receive the 88p payment, then redirected me to Qmee. Rather than adding the money to my account it told me the survey had been declined.
I contacted Qmee to complain and they replied this morning saying they couldn't help as they're not responsible for the surveys, despite the fact they are the site advertising them.
Then this morning I've done several more. I've been declined by most as I don't meet the demographic, which is fair enough, although I've wasted about an hour starting them.
I've now just done another 20 minute survey, completed it and been thanked, and once again when redirected to Qmee, it says the survey was declined when it wasn't.
It's demoralising enough doing these surveys for pennies trying to make some extra money at the moment, but to put in so much time and then not get paid because of a website glitch is just not acceptable.

We understand that it is extremely frustrating when you spend time on a survey, even reach the end of it, for it then to be declined by the survey provider. Unfortunately, the survey providers that run the surveys can decline a survey at any point when they have reason to, even upon completion and this is the case across the whole of the survey industry. We do however ensure that all feedback regarding surveys is passed to the provides,

There are a number of reasons the survey providers will stop and decline a survey; if you don’t meet the criteria they’re looking for for that particular survey (every survey has a certain criterion of respondent needed), if the maximum number of respondents for that survey has been reached, or if you were answering the questions too quickly, inconsistently or illogically (they see this as fraudulent behaviour).

The survey content is also much lower than usual as the survey providers that set up the surveys have just returned from the holidays. This may also affect the number of declines as available surveys tend to fill up much faster. Don't worry though the survey content should pick up by next week and you should start to see more surveys.

Just placed a large Christmas order with Argos and everything was spot on! I got loads of bargains with multi-buys on toys. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the driver was friendly. Everything was delivered in perfect condition. Really happy customer!

Beautiful flowers

I just received a beautiful "Jeanie' bouquet from Bloom & Wild which I won in a competition. I have been looking at the website for a while and think all the bouquets are stunning but couldn't warrant buying them for myself, so this was a lovely surprise!
The flowers arrived in just a couple of days and great care had been taken to protect them in transit. They came with instructions for caring for them and displaying them and now they look really lovely in the vase.
I'll definitely be buying from Bloom & Wild again.

Excellent!

We ordered our new lounge furniture from Sofology in Lakeside and couldn't be more happy. The sales guys were friendly, without being too pushy and explained the process clearly when it came to changing the delivery address once we'd moved house before delivery.
The 2 delivery men were friendly and efficient, had no problems removing their shoes on our new carpet and put it all together for us exactly as I asked. They cleared away all the packaging and took it with them and even brought a small trolley to transport it all from the van to the house so it didn't get damaged. Excellent servcie all round!

Lovely sofa bed

We ordered a sofa bed online for our spare bedroom and the whole process was pretty seamless. We wanted one with a better quality mattress which are actually quite hard to find. The cushions on this are huge and padded and the sofa looks really smart.
They only lost one star because one of the delivery drivers they used stank of cigarette smoke, which I actually thought was no longer allowed and refused to take off his boots in our brand new house, but luckily I had some booties for him to put over them!

Company needs some management!!

Ordered quite an expensive TV from Freemans. Arrow XL text me Saturday with a 1 hour delivery slot. Then one minute later text again to say it wouldn't be delivered. I contacted them by their chat facility, to be told the whole round had been cancelled and it would be delivered Sunday in the same time slot. When it failed to arrive Sunday I tried to contact them again, only to see on their website that they are closed Sundays.
Then this morning, I received an email to say my parcel has been successfully delivered and signed for. I checked with my wife and nothing has been delivered at all!!
We live in a new build house so I'm guessing it hasn't shown up on their sat nav, but rather than call and ask for directions, they've delivered a nice shiny new tv to someone else and I've paid for it!! Reported to Freemans.
To follow up......
I contacted Arrow XL again this morning and was told that my parcel is actually still in the warehouse in Enfield and was marked as delivered and signed for 'by accident'. They still can't give me another delivery date because they have to email the relevant department and get the delivery status changed. So I waited in all weekend for this elusive tv and have spent half the morning chasing around after it, only to be told they still have it and still can't tell me what day I have to take off work to wait in for it again!!

We'd already found the sofa we loved online from Sofolgy but had never bought from there before so popped into their Lakeside store.
We were helped to buy our sofa by Steve who was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and made us very welcome without being too pushy. Highly recommended!

I've bought Pandora charms from Argento a few times now as gifts. They've always arrived in good time. My most recent purchase had today as the dispatch date and has arrived this morning already, beautifully packaged and ready to give as a gift to my daughter. Excellent service!
