We had a great initial call with George, who provided an excellent overview of the system. He was very approachable and offered valuable advice on how to move forward. We are finding the system beneficial and are pleased with the guidance received so far.

DO NOT USE

A company that does not care about its customers and only cares about making money. We signed up to two years and were very unimpressed with the software, so much so we have hardly used it.

Excellent site finding tool

My small project identification business has been using Nimbus since 2019. It is an excellent and cost effective tool, which allows us to quickly assess large portfolios of potential sites , then also allowing us to move into more detailed assessment if required. Outputs have been well received by clients.
Customer support is excellent, if there is a problem or a question, knowledgeable members of the Team can be reached on the phone quickly.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Nimbus is a must have for any architect / developer / planner in the UK, it has become a vital part of our office within the first week. Can't imagine working life without it now !
The support service we have been given is excellent with not only friendly support agents but very skilled and knowledgeable about the uses and potential uses of the software.

Incredible system for land…

Incredible system for land opportunities, that keeps evolving and improving. Sinead Hatter has provided an exceptional level of service making sure we get the most of the system. Highly recommended if you are looking for a tool for land and property. Our business has held a license for the past 4 years, and the improvements have not stopped - with more automations on the way, it improves our efficiency no end.

Training session on new facilities

This activity was a training session with Nimbus' Francesca Chappell on all the great new features in the app. Francesca efficiently explained everything clearly and also covered off some other operating points that had been niggling me for a while. I find the Nimbus platform a fantastic aid to my property development activities and its colleagues first class in every respect.

Having been a user of Nimbus for some…

Having been a user of Nimbus for some time now, I was delighted to have John Miller expertly run me through all the recent new and differing levels of information that could be accessed. The training was focussed on my companies requirements and I had no hesitation in signing for the Enterprise Package and my company is already benefiting from the upgrade !!

Nimbus is brilliant!

Nimbus is brilliant software and its very easy to use, the insights, site finding features, commercial data and site navigation are extremely helpful.
Sinead has been great at helping the team here get the very best out of the subscription and has been on hand to help with anything we have needed and talked us through updates and features, even going above and beyond whilst on holiday to help support us. We would recommend Nimbus👍🏼

My experience has been deeply disappointing

In 2022, I signed up for a one-year contract with Nimbus Maps at a cost of £1,200. Unfortunately, during that year, I discovered that the software did not function as promised. Specifically, the software failed to accurately identify plots of land by the minimum land area, which was the primary reason for my subscription. It frequently missed relevant plots and included others that did not meet the specified criteria.

I contacted the support team via telephone and was informed that someone would get back to me, as the relevant personnel were unavailable at the time. However, no one returned my call. I tried calling again on a different day, but received no answer.

Since I was unable to use the software as intended, I allowed the contract to run its course and made sure to contact Nimbus Maps around three weeks before the contract's expiration to confirm that my card would not be charged again. To my surprise, I was told that it was impossible to cancel because I had to provide 30 days' notice. As a result, I was informed that I would be charged for another year.

Despite multiple emails and phone calls, Nimbus Maps refused to cancel my account, stating that the contract could not be terminated. My continued requests for cancellation were ignored, and my card was subsequently charged another £1,200.

As of October 2024, I have sent numerous emails to Nimbus Maps’ support team and personally addressed letters to the company’s directors, which were sent via Royal Mail signed-for service. I requested cancellation of my account and information on how to file an official complaint. Nearly three months have passed, and I have received no response to any of my correspondence.

Furthermore, I’ve noticed that the terms and conditions on their website have been updated multiple times over the past two years, without any clear record of the changes. This raises concerns about the transparency and consistency of their policies.

In total, I have lost £2,400, and I remain concerned that my card may be charged again. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with this company, as my experience has been deeply disappointing. For reference my name is John Baxter.

I have thoroughly investigated the matter and can confirm that all correct processes and complaints procedures were followed. Our records show that after your 6-day trial, you subscribed to our service following a discussion with our sales team, during which no defects were mentioned. The terms regarding the auto-renewal period were clearly outlined in the communication before your commitment, and we’ve seen consistent usage of the service throughout your subscription.

Additionally, we have a self-service portal where clients are required to store a payment card for the subscription to function when paying monthly. This card must be uploaded by the client, and it can be overridden or updated in the portal at any time.

I would also like to clarify that we have made only one change to our terms since your sign-up. This update reflected minor internal adjustments, but no changes were made to our core policies.

Regarding the bounced emails, we have now spoken directly to ensure all points have been covered, and we have verified that our communication about the outcome of your complaint was sent at each stage of the process. Unfortunately, it appears some emails may not have reached you due to issues with your email provider.

We appreciate that clients may experience frustrations from time to time, and we take these concerns very seriously. We are committed to proactively addressing issues and preventing such situations from arising in the future.

I cancelled my trial and yet I only…

I canceled my trial a year ago and only purchased land registry documents from the company. Despite this, they saved my card details and have since made five unauthorized transactions of £120. This is fraudulent, as the money was taken without my consent. I intend to report this to the authorities and will also be claiming my money back through my bank. Be cautious of companies like this that don't listen and try to bind you to contracts without consent or a signed agreement. Beware of fraudsters. they have tried to take more transactions but it was a good job I froze my card.
