Description of the wrong hotel

Sought for TRYP BY WINDHAM NEW YORK, on Trivago. Forwarded to EasytoBook. Also mentioned TRYP BY WINDHAM NEW YORK on the website, including pictures. Only the adres turned out to be different. Once arrived it appeared to be reserved at Tryp Times Square (bad reviews). Fortunately the hotel was not that bad.

I will not use easytobook in the future

So far i have made reservations using easytobook twice. Athough I was quite satisfied at the first time, during my stay at the last hotel I felt disappointment. The images were seriously misleading. I expected an average 3-star hotel but instead it turned out to be a bit better than a really cheap hostel.

Thank you for a reliable Service. I had a very positive experience when I cancelled my hotel booking. You delivered what you promised me "free cancellation". I will certainly consider using Easytobook when I do my future bookings.

Book when room not available

We booked a room and paid via credit card then were told that there were no rooms available then offered an alternative hotel, tried to contact Easy to book, were put on hold then disconnected, sent an email, still no reply and still no refund or cancelled transaction on the credit card! Still pending. I'll use Trivago next time!

We informed you and replied to your email. Please check your inbox or your spam inbox.

We voided the authorization on your Credit Card after 12 minutes but the remaining time it takes the funds to be credited back to your account is dependent on the card issuing bank and its internal procedures. Normally it can take 3 or 4 working days.

We noticed that you inserted another booking on our site and it was instantly and successfully confirmed.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that it caused and thank you again for your review.

You were supposed to withdraw 1148 $ and you withdrew 1179 !!!! That is not acceptable

Issues with my check in

Booking this online itself was very simple and straight forward. However I had many issues
Checking in to my hotel once I arrived, I was kept for over half an hour. There apparently was an issue with my booking not being on the system even when I quoted my reference. I ever provided email confirmation but that wasn't enough, I then had to contact this company to get futher proof, it was such an inconvenience I also had problems checking out the following day! I'm not sure who's error this was but the service at my hotel was appalling!

It seems that you did not have to pay anything directly to the hotel, if that happened please send us a receipt, we would get a refund for you.

We are not sure of the reason why the hotel did not find your booking immediately, we will take the necessary steps to ensure it will not happen again in the future.

We did indeed inform you regarding the payment issue for you to resolve the issue; otherwise the booking would be released. Since the service was prepaid and you did not resolve the payment issue, we were forced to release the booking on the payment due date.

We hope we have been able to clarify how we process our rooms and the reason we had to release the booking.

security problem

Were requested a photocopy of the used credit card, together with the security code. This is the first time for me, when after payment via the Internet, someone calls by phone to request the card number with security code and makes requests for photocopies sendet by e-mail.
