Incredible customer service.

I needed a receipt from 2020 and the customer service team were extremely helpful in tracking down the one I needed, going way beyond my expectations of finding it!! Thank you so much. All my family have the origami iPad cases and we think they are a brilliant product.

Great experience

Great experience - I made a slight error by entering the wrong email address but the amazing customer service team were quick to fix this for me. They also tracked my order and followed up to check it had been delivered, which they didn't have to and this was a small detail that I really appreciated and shows how much they care about their customers. Case is perfect and fits my new MacBook better than anything I could have ordered on Apple/Amazon, can't comment on the longevity but it arrived in perfect condition and looks great, so I'm a happy customer and glad I ordered from them! Special thanks to Anna from the team.

Great service

Had a fault with an iPad case that was coming up to 2 years old. Contacted Pipetto Customer Service and they arranged for a free replacement that arrived within 1 week. I have bought a number of items from Pipetto and always found them to be of good quality and very functional.

Avoid buying directly from them.

Purchased a case from them directly. However upon arrival the case was damaged. Arranged for it to be sent back August 13th and I’m still awaiting for my refund 2 weeks on. They are saying that their warehouse hasn’t received the return yet the Evri returns tracker saying they have attempted to deliver on the August 15th. Countless chasing via email and still no closer to getting a refund from them. I’d avoid them from now, shame as they usually make good cases.

Sorry to hear your item arrived damaged. Our warehouse do check items before they go out, so it’s most likely the item was damaged in transit. On these occasions, we of course offer free returns shipping and a refund or replacement, to make sure we get it right. I’m glad we were able to get this resolved for you. :)

Edited - bumpy customer service journey but now resolved

Pipetto’s website reassuringly claims to offer 14 day hassle free returns. My experience shows this is misleadingly inaccurate at great expense and inconvenience.

I placed an order for a £49.95 item. I cancelled it two hours later (having decided to get a different Pipetto product). Two days later Pipetto ignored my cancellation and despatched the item adding £5.99 shipping costs for an item I had told them two days earlier I no longer wanted. After some email exchanges with the company I returned the item spending another £4. I used the shipping address given to me by the company.

Royal Mail were unable to deliver the item despite me posting it to the correct address. The Royal Mail label tells me it was “not called for” so presumably no-one from Pipetto was at its address to receive the item (bizarre) and they didn’t bother to ask Royal Mail to rearrange delivery in the 18 days it is held for before being returned.

The item is now back with me and I don’t know what to do. Do I pay another £4 to deliver it again in the hope someone from Pipetto is in?

Anyway. My point is this. Shop elsewhere. Don’t rely on Pipetto’s misleading promise for hassle free returns. I’m out of pocket by nearly £60 with more cost and inconvenience to come.

UPDATE - following some more exchanges of correspondence I was eventually able to return the item and thankfully Pipetto was able to refund the item plus most of the posting costs. So it ended up resolving favourably. Wish it had been smoother and less reliant on me getting involved. But I’m grateful it resolved on the end.

Our returns process is hassle-free in that it’s automated, so customers can book the returns request via our website to automatically generate a returns label. There is no emailing and waiting for a reply on how to return an item or ‘hidden’ process likes there is with some other brands. As soon as the item is received, it’s booked in and a refund is issued. It sounds like on this occasion there was a delivery error back into our warehouse though the carrier, which caused some hassle. Unfortunately these things can be out our control as well, but I’m glad we were able to get it resolved for you.

I love Pipetto’s origami iPad cover

I love Pipetto’s origami iPad cover — it allows for both portrait and landscape orientation, plus additional positions, it is smart-looking and lightweight.
I got my first one in Europe and used it for years before recently needing a new one for a newer-model iPad. I am in Canada now and could not find one here, and I don’t use Amazon, so was very pleased to know that Pipetto ships internationally.
The service was very very good, efficient, and shipping costs were reasonable.
I subsequently ordered an “Ultra Lite” MacBook sleeve; there was an issue with the sleeve, and later with order delivery, but they addressed both issues as soon as I informed them and resolved the problems right away.
Customer service was excellent — responsive and friendly, and I was very happy with Pipetto.

Lining of cover worn out - not covered by their so called, deceptive "lifetime warranty"

Update: So this "lifetime warranty" is a lot of nonsense, and very deceptive. Yeah, thanks for clearing up that up!

After about a year, the lining of the cover of the case, the part that comes in touch with the device's screen, has worn out so much, that the material underneath is now showing.
They feature a so called "lifetime warranty", which when approached, said it would not cover this.

I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with the warranty experience you had with us. I understand it can be disappointing not to get the answer you’re hoping for.

Just for context, a standard a Lifetime Warranty does not cover wear and tear. Not just from us, but from nearly all companies. Just as you would expect any other consumer goods, such as a pair of leather shoes or jeans, things do wear out over time.

The Sale of Goods Act deems the goods 'not faulty' if they perform as intended for 6 months. However, we stand behind the quality of our products and we think the product should last for the lifetime of your device. For most people, this is around 24 months for a MacBook or iPad. Over 24 months, the Lifetime Warranty is at our discretion.

The litmus test that we use to consider if an item is faulty is: “Has this product stood the test of time for long enough to show there was no manufacturing defects with the product?”

If not, then if any product fails to function as intended as a result of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, we’re happy to replace it under the terms of our warranty. However, this doesn’t cover standard wear and tear, and if it’s been very well used for a long period of time and it’s wearing out from use, then it’s unfortunately not considered a defect or warranty issue.

I’m sorry on this occasion we weren’t able to provide a free replacement.

Excellent products well worth the money

Great products well worth the money. Backed up by lifetime warranty’s on products and excellent customer service which goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Wouldn’t use any other company..excellent brand & company ethos.

I have had several covers

I have had several covers, they are of very high quality. I had a slight issue with one of the purchasers and the team were very helpful and quick in resolving the issue and supporting me. I want hesitate to buy products from them in the future.
Worth every penny.

My favorite iPad cases!

Pipetto’s origami iPad cases are my very favorite. I’m on my fourth one. They are lightweight but protective, and allow you to position your iPad in several different ways. I ordered my previous cases in the US on Amazon, but when I got my new iPad recently, they weren’t available so I ordered online through their home office in the UK. The first one they sent me was lost in transit, but they were very helpful in helping me order a new one when the first didn’t reach me. I highly recommend them!

My experience. Very delighted.

A few years ago, I bought an iPad Pro along with a wonderful case from Pipetto. After a decent amount of time from active use, it got worn out, and I made up my mind to choose a new one. After reviewing a lot of options on the Web, I didn't find anything that could fully replace the Origami case for me. Therefore, I ordered a new one for myself via the Internet from the official Pipetto website. And a couple of months later, having purchased an iPad Air for my daughter, I ordered a beautiful magnetic case for her tablet and a protective glass for the screen. I am delighted with the quality of the products and their functionality. Thanks to this small but very cool company!

No response after warranty claim

I’ve submitted a warranty claim as my iPad case has crumbled on the edges of the plastic and doesn’t hold my iPad any more. After 3 weeks I’ve heard nothing. I phoned and was told it’s a different department that can only be contacted by email. I’d already emailed to chase this. The customer service person offered to email herself. But still nothing has happened. Please sort out my warranty claim.
