We have travelled to Cuba with Holiday Place and have recently booked to go to the Domician Republic in February. Found their customer service to be very good and we had a lovely holiday in Cuba and will be looking forward to our next holiday with them having received good customer service upon booking.

Booking was simple
Booking was simple. Had a courtesy call a few hours later which was a nice touch. I’ve since emailed twice about upgrading and they have always been great at accomodating us - even if they don’t have the information, they have worked hard to get it for us.
Ian and Grish have both been superb at communicating and updating me and my wife. Unsure who the lady I spoke to was but glad to be dealing with this company thanks to these two colleagues. Would (and already have) recommend this company to family and friends

There is no mention of the fact that Luggage charges are NOT included in the price quoted.
There is no mention of the fact that Luggage charges are not included in the price quoted, and there is no mention that this needs to be added. It’s only when the payment process fails and you need to speak to a person that this information is given to the customer.
Surely everyone takes some level of luggage on a fortnights holiday so why is the charge not shown or even hidden?

Due to us as a company trying to provide the best price our online system picks up the cheapest airline fares, and as a lot of airlines now are offering fares without luggage included our system picks these up as they are the cheapest option. We are trying to update our system to avoid these booking but at present this unavoidable.
We will pass a note to the IT department to try and add a note with regards to "luggage may not be included"
