Gone Bust

£6000 lost on a family holiday, I've just found out today and no ATOL certificate (same Mahesh) so several sleepless nights ahead thank you. Totally upset and distressed. We're not rich, just a humble nurse saving for a family experience and they had the nerve to take the final payment the very day they went under. Criminals.

I paid the deposit of £600 and I was…

I paid the deposit of £600 and I was waiting them confirmation for some changes I asked to do it. I never receive nothing for couple of weeks and in the main time I've sent them few emails. Today 4th of Jun I received an email from CAA where they told me to claim my money back because the agency closed. Now if I want to buy another holiday in the same place I need to spend £1300 more for the same package...I'll never recomand them and them partners...

Gone into Administration

I cant actually believe it!!!

we booked with holiday place in 2018 to go Thailand and they were so good and so helpful and so we booked again with them in jan 2019 for our honeymoon luckily only paying a minimum for the deposit.

my other half just happened to see a email in her junk email not even saying it was from "the Holiday place"

tried calling them and nothing, all numbers dead. google saying they have gone into administration. i feel very sorry for the people flying in the next few weeks.

we will be looking elsewhere and looking to get deposit back from credit card company.

forums saying that staff were only told on the day and had an hour to clear their desk and to leave - cant believe company's like this actually still exist.

sad times

The Holiday Place ceased trading on…

The Holiday Place ceased trading on 29th May 2019. No e-mail. no call. nothing. Called to finalise my booking and all of the lines are dead.. a quick google search reveals that they have gone bust! Thank you for letting your loyal customers know! Thank you also for running off with hundreds of pounds of my money. Paid for Atol.. but never received a certificate from the agent (Mahesh).. lost my holiday and 600 odd quid.

Paid in full for my package holiday…

Paid in full for my package holiday months back and am currently on the holiday where I have been contacted by the hotel to say my hotel and transfers have not been paid and you have gone into and administration. I have been made to pay the hotel another £800 as I would have had to leave otherwise. No contact was made whatsoever from you. Disgraceful.

Ceased Trading?!!

I have holidayed with Holiday Place several times and recently booked an accommodation only package at Royalton, Mexico. I am currently abroad and read the company had ceased trading. I await communication from The Holiday Place.

Dear Holiday Place

Booking my trip was fantastic you gave me a great deal. I happily paid my deposit. I contacted Holiday Place and asked what the procedure was for paying the balance. I was told Holiday Place would notify me in writing, so far I've received nothing.
All going wrong now as.....
The due date for my last payment was 5/30/2019, I called the three numbers consistently provided in the initial booking 011 44 207 6441700, 1701 and 1702, all the number busy. A very nice auto greeting for main no. and then when transferred BUSY. Same with direct numbers to accounts and admin. I emailed the accounts dept and the reservation dept, no word from them either. I really don't know what to do. I'm hoping someone will contact me. My booking no is 263386 . Update June 1, 2019 Just found out that Holiday Place is no longer in business. I live in the US and was wondering why I couldn't access their website. My sister asked my sister to check, she lives in the UK and it appears they are no longer in business. I wait to hear from Holiday Place. My vacation is in August. No wonder no response from them so far. I hope this is all a big mistake.

Very good information given, answered all my queries and questions.
would definitely recommend this company. Competitive prices would be hard to beat with added extras.

Absolutely the best customer service!

Absolutely the best customer service!! Very very helpful for a first time lone traveller..arranged my dream trip to cuba and was very polite and patient and took extra time talking me through everything. Thankyou very much!! Roll on october i can not wait!! Thankyou Rishin. I am so pleased im booking barbados through the holiday place for next year too :D

First time I have used this company

First time I have used this company. They have been spot on so far.
Price matched a holiday for me. They have been very friendly and professional when deal with me. Confirmation sent same day as promised
I would definitely use them again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
