What a dump

Do not pay full price for PWH

Get your Tesco club card points out if you are desperate for something to do.

We went on its first day of opening in 2024 (March 29th) expecting rides to be all sparkling , jet washed, painted and cleaned. This was not so. The place looked like the fairground from Hiroshima in places. Rides that were full of leaves and rotten smelly water (elephant ride) the safari ride was filthy. Steering wheel falling apart. Rusty bits of metal sticking out and torn material. There’s authentic and then there’s deaths traps!

£18 per adult that includes 3yr olds who by the way if need to be min 90cm minimum tall to go on certain rides.

Explain to me how a child who is 90cm can go on the egg rollercoaster accompanied by an adult but not the umbrella ride (opposite) that looked about as exciting as watching paint dry. Confused face!

Also the egg rollercoaster clearly hadn’t been tested before opening as they had not cut back the winter foliage as my wife was smashed in the face by a branch. Luckily she walked away unscathed.

Pro’s … the staff as much as most have them looked like they’ve just finished their GCSE’S were very smiley, polite and pleasant (might be first day high) toilets were clean. Parking was free (for now) . There’s a McDonald’s just before the park, so don’t pay stupid money for food on site or take a picnic

Overall, this place needs a big cash injection a with some new rides or at least a proper clean and lick of paint.

Sadly won’t be returning

So much better than expected

So much better than expected.

I’d read a few reviews, people moaning that they weren’t able to have the full experience because the track was busy and instructors wouldn’t let them push the car hard.

Completely the opposite for me, from the start it was all very seamless. From a quick briefing (no health and safety lectures). The two warm
Up laps I would advise in, gives you a good idea on the racing line and what the track is like.

Once in the cars, the instructors are all very relaxed, chatty and want you to have the best experience possible.

David in the r8 v10+ was class! Up for laugh and then on track just pushed me to take the best race line and be on the throttle as much as possible.

Was advised it wasn’t an overly busy day but there were still cars on the track but they will get out the way if you are a faster driver.

Would certainly advise doing min 5/6 laps in a super car because laps are quick and over before you know it.

All the staff were helpful, polite and just wanted to make your experience the best it could be.

Only negative, had to wait around a bit for a car to be free but is that really a problem!?

Avoid at all costs

I was very shocked on arrival to learn that I was going to be hiring a car from “greenmotion” who operate under “Avance”. I purposely avoided greenmotion due to the negative comments and bad ratings.

On arrival I was met by a very rude and abrupt man who was angry that I was late ( this was due to my flight, out of my control) you would presume they would know this as I provided my flight number at reservation and be expected that I was going to be picking up late.

I was then shown the car, a very old fist panda with 122k on the clock. It was battered and rusty with stained seat covers.

I asked how much for an upgrade and he snapped and said I have a brand new Citroen but it’s double the price.

I wasn’t prepared to pay double when I know this was just a price he had plucked out the air to make a quick buck.

I also had left my wife and 16month old baby in the airport who I needed to get back to and didn’t have time to argue with a very uncooperative man.

To know I paid nearly £400 for a car that old (which I’ll also add had a slow puncture front left, and they were happy to charge that much for a car that old on Greek roads with a child under 2 in) when a few friends paid the similar prices almost new cars i feel is a con.

On return a pleasant lady met me, reviewed the car and let me go on my way.

I will not be using this company again. I’ve used Perfanis before on the island, a lot better service and better quality cars.

Cracking service

Cracking service I must say. Clive was really personable. He went out of his way to contact me out of hours when I had change my appointment last minute.

The sales process was very smooth and quick.

A little disappointed not to get the actual price quoted but appreciate certain factors reduced the the final figure.

Money was in my bank in 15 mins after opting for speedy payment.

Hassle free car sale. Will use again

Fast delivery - Great Price

Happened to come across the product id been searching for ages. great price, however after reading reviews on here after and realising they use HERMES for delivery this made me think i would never actually see my trainers.

Hermes text saying delivery between 7pm & 9pm - and we all know the "attempted delivery" nightmares from Hermes (they basically cant be bothered to deliver) and no way of contacting them,

however they turned at 4pm - so no complaints.

i feel sorry for the people who have a got a good deal on Scotts and then had to deal with useless Hermes drivers.

it will make me think twice before ordering again based on the fact they use Hermes - sorry Scotts

Couldn't deliver a joke... oh no you are the joke!!!

absolute shambles..

ordered an item from Amazon to work address which is open 8am till 6pm. both attempted deliveries claim they were done at 17:46 and 18:01 when at least 5 people were at the address.

if you cant be bothered to deliver the item just say. i have no way of speaking to a driver as you didnt leave a calling card. oh because you never actually came to the address in the first place.

how is such a simple process made so difficult by pathetic drivers who just lie.

what a waste of space this company is! sadly you cant avoid if you order via Amazon!

Ordered a pair of Indoor football trainers order number (14610610) on Monday 16th September.

Ive waited a week, contacted them via whatsapp and been informed the item was only shipped yesterday (23rd September) now expected to arrive 27th September.

little bit confused why the order was not shipped the day after i ordered when i received an email confirmation.

Gone into Administration

I cant actually believe it!!!

we booked with holiday place in 2018 to go Thailand and they were so good and so helpful and so we booked again with them in jan 2019 for our honeymoon luckily only paying a minimum for the deposit.

my other half just happened to see a email in her junk email not even saying it was from "the Holiday place"

tried calling them and nothing, all numbers dead. google saying they have gone into administration. i feel very sorry for the people flying in the next few weeks.

we will be looking elsewhere and looking to get deposit back from credit card company.

forums saying that staff were only told on the day and had an hour to clear their desk and to leave - cant believe company's like this actually still exist.

POOR QUALITY TRAINERS - Whitworth

I have previously purchased trainers from Kurt Geiger before.

i purchased a pair "whitworths" , being an owner of the "earl" i was expecting the same level of quality.

this was not to be, their first outing consisted of the lace snapping clean off in my hand and the ankle support stitching splitting and ripping.

for a pair of trainers that retail on your website for £59 this is very poor. even if they were £10 you wouldnt expect this.

i have now returned the trainers and got confirmation you have received them back to then receive an email saying to allow up to 21 days for a inspection of the fault.

in this day and age your telling me it can take up to 21 days to determine if its a faulty or not? unbelievable.

very poor service from a brand that classes itself as "Premium Footwear"

Thailand will be a tough one to beat

Bangkok - Ko Samui

cannot fault their service.

we looked at the holiday we wanted and spoke with an adviser over the phone who was extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed.

Their payment plan was perfect for what we needed. any questions were answered immediately.

When we arrived in Thailand we were greeted by and representative who did not hound us to do extrusions. We had a private car from airport to Hotel every time and they were more than helpful upon arrival at the airports regarding flight info

Would certainly use again 5 STAR

STUPID RETURNS POLICY

I ordered some items from their website.

address box on website didn't add to my delivery slip correctly and so delivery was undelivered and return to A&F.

when i called to get the item re-sent back they said that one of the items was no unavailable ( which is a lie as it had clearly just had an attempted delivery probably within touching distance of where it was supposed to be delivered)

I am now told that the item will be returned to their stock room and go out to the the next customer who had it on back order and i would get a refund. NOT HAPPY!!!

they shipped the two other items next day and after a lot of complaining of awful customer service i gained 30% to use ether in store or online.

Still doesn't help as the one item i wanted is now out of stock and gone to someone else even though - RIDICULOUS

Sales fine. Drivers are disgusting

Unacceptable expierience, unreasonable and rude conduct from Delivery drivers.

Sales reps in shop were spot on.

Shame the delivery drivers have no respect, rude and like to think they can lean all over your painted walls with their sweaty arms like they are in their own house.

Bed and head board arrived. Head board was left in Bensons lorry overnight that leaked rain water into our headboard (waited 4 weeks)

Drivers didn’t care and threatened to take bed back when we refused to sign PDA regarding the damaged goods. driver got aggressive and ranted “he didn’t have time to hang around and deal with this as he had his 4yr old daughter to get back to”

Now waiting for new head board to be made and shock we’ve received an email to say “an expected delay has occurred”

Still no head board..

Disgusting attitude from the drivers

UPDATE! Head board arrived 5 weeks after original incident with drivers. then offered us compensation of £50 vouchers to spend in the shop - no chance of stepping foot back in their store.

so settled for £30 Cash - should cover the new paint to cover up the walls that the drivers marked and sweat all over!!

Great product - poor Customer service

Great product - Useless customer service

Your products are amazing it’s a shame you don’t train your customer service agents In how to deal with phone calls.

I believe you have one customer service office so probably a small team with a database that everyone uses. Please start communicating with each other and if a customer calls update the profile so the next agent who handles the call knows what’s going on.
