They don't reply to emails

They don't reply to emails. I applied for a job. They say it will take up to 30 days to review my submitted test job. Today it's been 44 days. I got no reply. I emailed them yesterday, also no response.

Trash Transcription Jobs

Bad service, bad company for workers. Not approved. For worker don't expect transcription work here. It's trash, doesn't fulfill workers' rights. They just use your skills for their own wealth. It's not worth it. Pay our money due!!!!

They advertise a 3-5 business day…

They advertise a 3-5 business day processing timeframe. Submitted the file and paid for the order, After 2 weeks without any response or refund reached out to the company - they were informed that the order had been rejected by their interpreter, but the customer notification was never sent."As I've mentioned, the process for this is still in the works, therefore a notification email was not sent out letting you know about the decision with your order. This was reported to our team of developers, and should be fixed as soon as possible. " The company then suggested the customer upload the file directly to their Chief Translator. Uploaded audio, PDF, and Word files.
Waited an additional 2 weeks before following up again. In the response, the company asked the customer to confirm whether they had uploaded a Word document or PDF, indicating they were unsure of the file format received. The company also stated they would need to check with their developers, implying they had no internal knowledge of the order or file.
After another week, they issued a refund, but deducted a refund processing fee. The poor customer service and lack of communication throughout this process suggests the company may not be equipped to reliably deliver on their advertised services - explore other companies that can provide a more transparent and efficient experience. Attempt to post this review was rejected by them with message" 429 error Too Many Attempts."

Bad captions, bad customer service.

I paid for closed captions for a film. I provided the transcript and specific technical guidelines. They didn't adhere to the guidelines the first or second time, and the captions created for the music and sfx were poor, inconsistent, and didn't adhere to any professional standards (they told me they go by their own standards).

When I corrected everything myself and asked for a partial refund, they provided a series of empty excuses, including how it 'seems impossible to meet' certain technical guidelines—when I, first time doing captions, had just done it.

They stated that 'our standards just don't meet your expectations,' and that my expectations were unattainable. The first part is certainly true, but it's irrelevant, since the bottom line is that they agreed to provide a product based on a set of technical guidelines, and didn't adhere to those guidelines.

After several persistent emails on my behalf, they gave me a 10% refund, a joke considering the time and energy I invested in essentially redoing the captions and then arguing back and forth.

If you need professional captions, seek another service.

My Number 1 option for translations

I got a unforeseen problem when time to submit all translations was anticipated, meaning I was at risk of losing my application deadline.

Despite of having less than 3 working days the translation team manage to anticipated their deliver saving my course application.
This result was only possible because of the first class chat support that put me in contact with the right person.

On top of all, the translation quality is 5 starts, as the team ensure to preserving the authenticity links from the originals files.
I highly recommended GoTranscript. Personally its became my number 1 option for translation.

100% 5 starts, keep up the excellent work guys!!

I had such a horrible experience with…

I had such a horrible experience with them. They did not pay attention to the requests, did not accurately state words, names etc... it was just a horrible experience and I wish I had the time to do it myself. It was expressed to Go Transcript that this was for a court hearing and the transcripts would be used as evidence. They still did not take it seriously. In every situation beyond the ordering, it was a disaster. I even went back and played some audio where they had made mistakes. A simple mistake for example was writing job instead of joy or swim instead of Tim, or completely misspelling words to the point where you don't know what the sentence was supposed to mean. Most importantly, they would say Jim: and transcribe what "Jim" said when in fact, it was not "Jim" who said it and there is no "Jim" in the office. The other issue was saying that "Jim" said something that another person said altogether as if they could not hear voices changing. I laid everything out for them spending so much time, I really should have done it myself. I would just highly urge you to buyer beware.

As mentioned by others too here below, they are doing false advertisement: the transcriptions are by no means human generated... they have AI doing the transcriptions, so you're paying for a service you're not really getting

We do hire transcribers, but due to high demand and a large number of applicants, we may not always have open positions available. If our system indicates we’re not hiring at the moment, it simply means we've temporarily paused accepting new transcribers — not that we’re collecting emails for marketing purposes.

We never use applicant emails for unrelated promotions or third-party marketing. All communications are strictly related to the application process or GoTranscript updates.
