Costco in-store is good but costco online has very poor and unprofessional service. I ordered a washing machine and fridge online . The delivery was planned one week after the order #761663410. On the day of the delivery the courier called and told me that I have to pay for on-street parking for their vehicle . I was on my way to work and was unable to pay them so they left without delivering. This is the most absurd experience I ever had with a delivery . Imagine if royal mail and Amazon starts demanding parking fee from customers for delivering letters and goods. The worst part is there was no communication from costco regarding the failed delivery. When I called the customer service they just couldn't care less. The online chat was worse. They also do not seem to want to communicate via email and have no customer service email address.
1st last and worse online purchase experience
6 times talking with customer service. 2 Trips to the store. Thousands waiting to be refunded. Two open box or tampered laptops because they can't secure a package sold as new. Wasted time researching/ traveling talking, gas, interest. Dashed hopes, exhausted, awful first/last buy online. Bonus softwares and discounts lost with return of opened box. Store manager didn't care, representatives for online don't appear to be trained well. Awful experience.
Extremely Poor Customer Service
Extremely poor service. I always have to line up in the queue and answer a lot of questions, but in the end I was left without any explanation. It could not help me solve the problem. I wonder why they even run an online service as well as a customer service email!
Poor management response to an injury…
Poor management response to an injury in Coral Springs, Fl store. A customer rammed their cart into my back while I was standing. It was a hard impact and I was in pain. Not one manager had professionalism or proper protocol when a member has incurred an injury. The loss prevention person came out and said where did it happen. Not one of the people in mgmt knew how to act professionally nor be trained with the proper protocol in this situation. They did not even offer an ice pack.

Very rude employee
Well, shopping after church for just a couple of items my husband wanted who is a 91 year-old with heart and dementia problems. Unable to leave him alone for long? I had to park so far out he was unable to do the walking after getting the items I sat him down to go get the vehicle. It would’ve taken three minutes at the most to unload these items but a lady come jugging out to tell me I couldn’t park there. I said I’m just you can’t park here she says and keep on and on. I would’ve been gone way before I was if she did just shut up and left me alone I tried to explain why I had done it. I have I am traveling and so don’t really have anyone to leave my husband with. I’ll do the shopping we are from Billings, Montana and in Billings. There is not a problem like this at all. I can’t imagine a place she told me to do it at the back of the parking lot And I explained that was the problem this happened at the Burlington Washington store and I found her very rude would not listen. Little Miss Aria needs to learn some manners.

purchased an electric guitar through a link on their website. turned out to be a scam . given tracking number etc which linked through chinese delivery company. followed track to my door , signed for this morning, not by us. tried to contact the company direct turns out to be an italian clothes company called fiorenzo moda, certainly not a guitar company.
i clicked on costco Squire stratocaster mustang by fender electric guitar Affinity series pack black. be aware the time critical offer is a scam. i now have to try explain to my son who has ADHD and anger issues that his birthday present will not be turning up. always check links before you buy anything. never thought this would happen to me

Ordered two items from Costco online…
Ordered two items from Costco online over two weeks ago, received only one. Been advised numerous occasions that the item was out for delivery and was given tracking numbers that did not exist. Escalated my complaint to customer care escalations and still awaiting a call. Told one business day we are now at four. tried numerous occasions to speak to someone in escalations and refused to be put through. Even told by a customer service agent that i should deal with the supplier myself! Absolutely diabolical service from a multi million company. Still awaiting a response as they still have my money!
Fake Costco rampaging on line
This review although is bad may not in fact be completely Costco's fault I looked on line for petrol lawn mowers and having found a selection of adds stating to be Costco and in everyway looking like Costco adds I purchased one quickly to find I had been scammed . Although in the end I will hopefully get my funds back I contacted Costco and straight away the lady was aware of this she said we do close these sites down but they get set up again my question is if you are closing them why are the same adds still there showing no sign of being closed or altered in any way they will have a large impact on your company as once it becomes common knowledge nobody will feel confident spending money with Costco on line I certainly will not again . A big company like Costco you might think would put more resources into catching these scammers . I have had to cancel cards removed funds and now will wait a significant time to get my money back .. be warned Costco said to me they do not sell items like this online best way to stay safe stick to Amazon and eBay maybe ? Not your fault Costco but come on your a big company catch these f*** bad people
Poor customer service policies
I am not a Costco member. I ordered two chairs that were on sale during MA tax free weekend and paid the non member surcharge. I received a confirmation email immediately. . Two days later my ordered was canceled by a second email.
I called them. An expired Costco member number was somehow attached to my order. And even though I paid the non member surcharge, their computer system canceled my order because of this.After 40 minutes on the phone, they said if I reordered they would refund the additional amount I would now have to pay if I called them after delivery of the chairs. They offered me a $20 card for a future item for the inconvenience.
The woman on the phone was very nice, but I did not want to have to call again and waste more time to get my money back. I will shop somewhere else.
C’mon Costco. Do better
Costco’s website is about as useful as wet bread. I’m honestly shocked that a company this size can’t get their act together. Just a pointless, waste of time trying to use it. I like Costco stores better than Sam’s, but they cannot compete with the online shopping experience. Sam’s wins hand down, plus they offer curbside pickup, which people have come to expect. So disappointing
Costco white glove
Costco white glove delivered my appliances wet. I was told to dry it with damp clothes and wait for 30 minutes before plug in for range hood and refrigerator.Read the return policy carefully for big appliances, which states you need to pack the appliances to pick up. Delivery also made a few scratches on my newly built house. My experience with white glove is the worst. They don't do basic installation for all appliances. My fridge , range hood and dishwasher were left uninstalled but they installed washing machine and dryer.
Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish, never order ever again 🤬🤬🤬. Customer service is doing nothing about a problem, driver lost my package and they are can’t help me. Ask me wait for 48 hours, wich is promised delivered next day. Absolutely sh#it 💩.
And is not that cheap is normal shops when is sale is much more cheaper.

DO NOT BUY FROM COSTCO ONLINE
Ordered a Weber Barbecue cover - received an email saying 3-5 days delivery. 1 month later they say it has been delivered from China! They do not say who the courier is and it has NOT been delivered. No customer service - just a chatbot which goes round in circles. HAve requested refund but cannot get any sense or human response DO NOT BUY FROM COSTCO ONLINE!

Ordered a TV set from Costco Online at the beginning of July. Their courier needed a buyer to pick a date starting from at least 10 days away from the order day before they agreed on delivery. TV arrived 12 days later but the courier took it back because I refused to sign a black page on the couier's smart phone despite the courier already took a photo of the TV in my hallway. They just refused to confirm what a buyer was signing. Cancelled the order and re-ordered the same TV at the same price from Amazon. It arrived the next day and nothing to sign. Just a photo of the TV in the hallway sufficed as proof of delivery. This contrast speaks volume. I will only recommend Costco Online if you have ample time to chat with Costco's customer service.
75-inch TV delivered to my home
Had a 75-inch TV delivered to my home. The delivery team was on time and the TV worked. The team took the TV out of the box and plugged it in to verify it worked OK. My only complaint is that the team would not help me lift the TV up to the already install wall mount since my wife has carpal tunnel and it is difficult for her to lift heavy objects.

Why do they continually move products around the store??
Certain aisles I always avoid because they contain items I'm not interested in - if they subsequently put other items in that aisle I will never see or purchase them.
Last time I pushed my trolley to the far corner of the store where the heavy sacks of dog food usually are but nothing there. After pushing the trolley up and down many aisles on the way back to the tills I found somebody to ask (eventually), and they told me dog food was now in the other furthest corner of the store. No way was I walking back there to get it. Next time I'm sure they will again be in a different place again.
The next visit I abandoned a trolley half full because I could not find items I was looking for (they were not in their usual place) and couldn't find anybody to ask.
I feel that every visit to Costco leaves me angry and frustrated for that reason......
