Dreadful customer service later resolved after complaining
Dreadful customer service. I ordered a lawn mower on line. It wasn't delivered on the date scheduled and as I couldn't get hold of the shipping company I tried the on line chat facility which is totally useless. After an hour I finally got through to a call handler who promptly cut me off. After another long wait the second call handler said he would 'raise a ticket'. He insisted the lawn mower had been delivered when it had not. He promised to phone me back and never bothered. I then heard from the shipping company who said they have the lawn mower and will try and deliver it. It never arrived on the second scheduled date and again zero communication. This company is called Kinetic Logistics. Be-warned Costco on-line has a completely different culture to the warehouses. I've been a customer of Costco for years and years. I will never ever buy anything on line in the future. Go to the warehouse or shop elsewhere. It is dreadful customer service on-line and a couldn't care less culture. This is such a pity as I love the warehouses.
Update: This matter has been now been dealt with in a professional manner by Costco Customer Services and an amicable resolution achieved. To reflect the outcome achieved I've changed my score from 1 to 3 stars.
