Scam and lack of care

We have been with chase for 3 years. Within last 2 weeks a payment for £195 was taken from our account for a tiktok payment. Our tiktok account was hacked, details changed and blocked. We did not make this payment nor did we authorise anything on the app. When we contacted from chase we were advised there was no error on their behalf and advised there was nothing they could do! Our main issue was if there was a payment for £195 online who authorised the payment? There was no "approve payment" message on the app so why did the bank authorise this payment for an online purchase especially when payments are capped.

A police case has been opened for this fraudulent transaction. Tiktok has managed to retrieve the account and add more security. I am just SO surprised at the behaviour and actions by the bank. Now in process of changing accounts. I would advise to stay away from chase. Especially since all our wages went into that account.

Seems like a scam on website :(

We tried to book a holiday to Egypt through the website but something seems to have changed in it. I entered all details for date, people and flights. Chose the hotel etc on front screen it stated £4025.00 as soon as I clicked book the price went up to £5640?????? I literally changed NOTHING on the options page. We were looking to add luggage and transport but before I could even click on them I was shocked by price increase. Everytime I pressed back it showed £4025 and once again when I chose it it stated £5640. I contacted them via live chat after wasting time with the "smart bot" and then an advisor I was told it's price protection. So basically buy and £5640 then put a claim in?? Is that not false selling? Then the advisor messaged to say there was nothing they could no. We have used them for past 8 years but I am not falling for this scam

Yes could someone contact me? It has nothing to do with real time pricing. Because when I refresh it shows 4k price when I click link it goes to £5k price but doesn't show what price difference is for

Not left in safe space

Parcel was left outside front door. It could have been stolen by silly teenagers then it would have been a big issue trying to prove it

the goods and bads of my experience

I purchased alot of items from nature spell on their tiktok shop. Unfortunately the shampoo and conditioner ruined my hair :( i moved on to my second set that i had purchased even though my hair was falling out like crazy, in the shower, in my brush and when drying to the point i had contacted my GP. I was advised that it may be the stage of shedding hair, however the amount i was losing was alot more than that. It got to the stage that i felt there were very thin hair areas on my scalp. I have stopped using it and since then my hair fallout has decreased by atleast 50% I wish i had stopped using it earlier but i guess thats my own fault.

I have the stretch mark oil, personally i dont believe this has made ANY difference. I also have the tighten and tone body set, personally i dont think it tightens anything BUT it smells divine :) so i will continue to use it till it has finished.

The lavender pillow spray gives me itchy skin so i have thrown this in the bin.

On a more positive note one of the items that i will always continue to purchase from this company is the rosemary oil. I mix it with coconut and castor oil, leave it on for approx 30mins and give it a wash, believe me this helps.

Some things work for some and some dont, unfortunately only 1 works for me but i am ok with that

Really upset with whole experience

Hi

I have been sent pillar to post regarding my last holiday. I contacted a member of staff on the live chat who advised that we would be sent confirmation of leaving out hotel 1 week early. At first I was told there was a charge then I was advised they had spoken to a manager and this would be waived. It had been over a week. My brother passed while we were on the holiday and we had to leave. The experience we have faced from yourselves and delphin be grand had been atrocious could someone please get back to me ??? Feel we have been scammed :(

We recently travelled to Delphin be grand. There were supposed to be 11 of us travelling. My big brother had taken unwell and 6 decided to stay. However as my healthy wasn't that great and I was the youngest sibling I was advised to go. After 1 week we were told things had taken a turn for the worse. We contacted reception, jet2 and on the beach to advise of the situation. Jet2 were great. On the beach told us they were not able to refund even though the hotel stated they received money at end of summer period meaning on the beach had the £4k+ amount. After chasing for a while we were advised that approx £700 could be refunded. I could not understand why on the beach could not refund the days we were not there as they did not transfer the amount to the hotel and the hotel confirmed this with us.

My brother passed on the 22nd May and still to this date there is no reply or updates from on the beach. This has been really disappointing considering all info was passed over. Emails from hospital and death certificate etc.

The email you are referring to is completely different to what we were advised. We were told £735.35 and now your completing ignoring that??? This experience with yourselves seems to be getting even worse as it goes on. Could someone get back to us on the fact on the beach are going back on what they said on the phone ?

Thank you for your review and I am really sorry to hear you have been left disappointed as I can only imagine how frustrating this must have been given the circumstances highlighted.

Having checked your booking, I can see a response was sent to you back on the 29/5, unfortunately we have no control over the amount in which the hotel would offer to refund, this is at the suppliers discretion. We are bound by a contract and I can assure you this was not a decision made by On the Beach. I have now resent a copy of this email to your registered email address.

We would always recommend having travel insurance in place, should you have, the remaining shortfall would need to be claimed back via your insurer. If you are unhappy with the response from our post-departure team I can only suggest responding directly to the email to get back to the team.

My condolences go out to you and your family at a difficult time and I am sorry once again we have not met your expectations on this occasion.

Disappointed and upset

We came as a family of 5 for 2 weeks. Was Just informed my big brother is in critical care after 1 Week We booked our seats to go back emergency. Receptionist Rifet refuses to give us a letter to say we have checked out 1 week earlier advising they don't do it???? Honestly enjoyed this holiday and this individual has ruined the experience. I have my brother who has been advised 24to48 hours, on the beach was a 75min queue. His behaviour just added to it. Hli have 3 children who are already very upset about having to go home early :( I hope no one else ever falls into this situation. We contacted on the beach and were advised from the £4900 holiday the hotel only allowed £737 refund. On the beach advised it was what the hotel said was max refund. We were looking to come back with all the family but now I would not book with onthebeach or visit delphin be grand

My brother passed away on 22nd May 2023. On the beach you didn't help :(

Once sent, we will address and investigate your concerns with the relevant suppliers and aim to provide a response for you over a standard 28-56 day (as a maximum) complaints process.

I do hope despite the problems you still managed to enjoy aspects of your holiday experience.

I find whenever quidco have a deal for money back when they say they willgive you an additional amount then they dont. Then their forms take so long to fill(on purpose im sure) that its not worth it

I wouldn't go elsewhere

It's the second time I have used this service. It is fast, efficient and straight to the point. No time is wasted and no money is wasted either. From simply entering the IMEI number to to posting the phone and receiving the payment in the account. Great service - 2 thumbs up :)
