Received a used product and the refund wasn’t correct
I ordered a sunscreen. Received a heavily used item (stains all over the bottle, stained box, torn top of the box). Was traveling and returned the item to their store far from my hometown. The staff issued a refund for a wrong item (didn’t give me any receipts, otherwise I would’ve known back then). Now I am instructed to travel to the shop again (a day of my time + money), to sort their mistakes. Disgusting and shameful

Damaged packages
Boots have to be up there with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a number of gift sets online, most of which came with damaged boxes and product spillage. I bought online for convenience but now I am expected to either drive miles to return to a physical store or package all the product up and return to them. I do not intend to do either but one thing is certain, I will never again purchase anything from Boots!

I was a fool for giving Boots online shop another go. My order was cancelled without any contact to inform me that it had happened.
I only found out when I went to their website to check why I hadn't received my parcel. I contacted them and only received a ready made reply. I requested them to contact the service I used to pay to cancel the transaction and was informed that I HAVE to wait to complete 30 days from the day I ordered the products to have that temporary payment authorization automatically removed.
Lesson learned. From now on, go to my local pharmacy.
Slow with An Post
Online orders are often delivered late with outdated stock medicines. While An Post might be contributing to the delays, Boots could consider using DPD for higher-value orders.
Priced just right but delayed delivery.
Mostly, I am receiving old stock medicines, and the delivery is also very late because An Post is very slow. I wish Boots would use DPD for higher-value orders.
Scammers
Scammers, sent an empty box which should of had expensive perfume in it, sent all the proof videos and pictures and still won't give a refund, they have robbed my money, do not buy online from them you won't get your money back if any issues.
Bad service
The products that were picked and put in parcel were damaged and dirty. Not very nice when they are a gift for someone. very disappointed with the service. The box was not damaged so they cant say they got damaged or dirty in transet. Not good experience

Received an item that was not as described online… contacted online who told me to return the item to any store for a refund. Went to the boots in Limerick to return the item and the manager there rudely refused to take back the item saying it had been used!
Boots App = Crap!
I'm not sure whether I'm reviewing under the correct branding as it's the Boots App that I'm not overly impressed with - placed my order for gifts to go into a hamper for the 29th August, placed the order on the 18th and was told, it was dispatched and would be with me for 22nd August.. Still no sign, nor is the tracking information even received via An Post! So, as of today, I have requested a full refund as it's pointless now (even though I have waited the extra few days like Boots had suggested..). Then to have an email to say the investigation into my missing order would take up to 2 weeks before any potential refund comes my way.. Are you actually shitting me!?

Order placed August 15th and should have been delivered on the 18th.
It’s still under pharmacist review for 1 of the 4 items orders.

Buying online on the Boots website or app is always a problem; everything is very slow or sometimes the page doesn't even open. I made a purchase at Boots, as I always do online, and unfortunately, the address was incorrect for my old address. I entered the order online and there's no option to cancel it. I called Boots customer service, and they can't cancel it either. How is this possible? You make a purchase and can't cancel it. The Post Office has terrible customer service and couldn't help me either, and now my order is going to an address I no longer have access to.
Crap Customer Service
I returned a product through their system online and back in June it was posted to the address provided, i have yet to be refunded, i got in contact and keep getting your issue will be dealt with within 14 days to-date i am still awaiting my refund, an absolute disgrace.

If I could give less then zero stars to boot I would, they have the worst costumer service ever, basically I placed an order and pay with Apple Pay witch selected the wrong address, on the app or website there is no option to cancel the order or even change the address, I went to boots on the same minute to speak the a costumer service, they don’t have one I had to keep asking people until I find one that was useless gave me a phone number that doesn’t even work, search on chat gpt for right number finally got to boot but the woman’s told me that trey can’t change the address that I most go to an post to change it. An post can’t change the address, now I got a message that my package has arrived and sign by some one using my name, no one answered the door, called costumer service again all they say is we are sorry about that. I’m shocked of how companies like that are still operating, this is absolutely not acceptable, not having an away of changing the address or cancel the order right after purchase.
