The company is based in China and it will take a few weeks to get your new laptop battery, this isn’t really highlighted on the website which I can see would be irritating. If you’re able to handle both those points, the battery is great quality and fit my HP Probook 4340s perfectly! Very pleased and would recommend with two caveats, few weeks delivery time and you don’t receive a dispatch email for a while
Batteryforpc.co.uk is not a British company even though the British flag is shown on website. The batteries are sent from China and delivery take about 3 weeks! I did not receive the item I had ordered, therefore it was of no use to me (£29). After numerous frustrating emails, I was given the return address in China and sent it back. The tracking info confirmed it was ‘successfully delivered’, heard nothing from them, so contacted them again to be told they hadn’t received it and I should contact the courier! Further emails followed and I have not received the ‘immediate refund’ they promised.

>There are three solutions for you:
1, You can return it to China, you need to pay all the returning costs on your own, after we received your parcel, we also need to deduct the shipping fee of delivering to you.
2, You can return it to the German processing station, but the fee charged is high. You need to pay all the returning costs on your own, and also you need to pay the relisting fee of the processing station + shipping fee (we send it to you ).
3, We can look for transfer order for you, but you need to wait, because we can not make sure when there will be transfer order.
What is your idea?
Mary
> Dear customer,
Yes you can return the product to us unreasonably but you need cover the shipping cost.
Is that okay for you?
Best regards
Mary

Of course, none of this is mentioned on their '100% satisfaction guarantee' returns page.
If you have an issue with this company, you can register a complaint with the international consumer body - ukecc.net
UK web site fronting fake China goods. Say Fast dispatch, took 6 weeks with stupid reasons for delay. Item useless, returns very difficult and put barrier after barrier to stop you getting a refund. DON'T USE. wish there was a minus 5 stars.
Avoid this company. Despite running a UK web site, and shipping goods within the UK, they transact from China and and laugh in the face of UK Consumer Protection regulations. They refuse to accept any returns within the UK and you must return items to China. They ask for a fully tracked service which is very expensive. Often more than the cost of the goods.
They get away with sending you poor quality items and avoid any returns. Do not use this company.
Agree with J Davies. Ordered replacement battery for Bose Soundlink speaker. It arrived within 2 days. Works fine, so far. Happy with it. Don’t know about their computer/laptop batteries.
This is not a UK company that will get your order to you in a couple of days. There based in China! I placed an order and chased it 2 weeks later to be told it hadn't even been dispatched and to be patient. Four days later they email me demanding I pay another £5 postage to cover costs into the UK when I didn't reply as this was sent on a Saturday they cancelled my order on the Monday
Buyer Beware, took the money via Paypal no contact until I contacted Paypal dispute resolution ctr then dispatched the goods even though I canceled the order.
Chinese company pretending to be British do not buy from this company.
Do not use this company the products are not Genuine made in China don’t work all rubbish they are scammers. And not uk based. Don’t buy anything made in China let’s all boycott made in China as now they are using uk flags and uk web address to now scam us all in uk
Lying b******s. As stated by many others these are not a uk company. They are another chinese lot allowed to misrepresent themselves as an uk company.
If you need your battery quickly then forget these scammers.
Absolute rubbish, still waiting for battery 37 days later, they offered to refund if I returned the battery I am yet to receive, I have had to resort to opening a PayPal resolution to obtain a refund.
Don't be fooled by the .co.uk web address and the union jack logo, they are not UK based.
I initially placed an order for a Razer RAZ30X34 battery on 30th November 2020 via PayPal. But when I didn't receive a order confirmation after a few days, I was a little concerned. I then saw all of these disasterous reviews and looked into openning up a dispute on PayPal. From there it directed me to contact James Liu which I did. He got in contact within a few days and sent me the link to my parcel tracking. He also told me about the problems getting things out of Hong Kong due to Covid restrictions etc. The tracking information was a little non descript, but I am happy to say that the battery came today (21/12/2020) and I have fitted it to my laptop. It seems to work fine, so I just thought I'd post a review here to try and give a balanced view.
Absolute crooks. Not British as advertised but Chinese. Took my order but no confirmation of such sent to me. No goods came sand no response from them and no refund either. PayPal are useless too.
Not a UK company (poor quality emails and respond in the middle of the night).
Goods take weeks to arrive.
Poor quality battery that I immediately flagged as not fit for purpose. Quality rejects from other companies?
Won't refund purchase price. Insisted on sending a replacement battery which they now estimate will take 3 weeks to arrive.
Do not use this company to buy batteries for PCs / laptops.
Rip off company. Took weeks to apparently send a battery that never showed up. They send from China so do not expect to be sent from UK. The battery never appeared although tracking said it did. I cannot claim against courier for loss since sending Li-ion battery is prohibited item. Now I am out of pocket £40 and no product.
BatteryforPC exepcted me to "call customs to enable delivery" with no reference number or any credible information. Definitely a scam.
Avoid, very poor customer service and after sales, paid by card but no idea when or if my order will arrive
Macbook Air battery arrived almost a month later than promised and although it did work fine for a while it suddenly and completely died after two months.
batteryforpc.co.uk is a company masquerading as a British company which it is not. It even has the British flag on it's website. The batteries are sent from China and takes about 3 weeks. I sent several emails about my order and got a quick response but I assumed I was buying from a company in the U.K due to it's website. All returns have to be sent back to China which is expensive.
