Product Quality - Worth The Money?

I have purchased a few Soak & Sleep items over the years and have been disappointed with the sizing and overall quality.

Most recently our 600TC premium bedding set developed small rips in the material. Not only the pillow cases, but the sheet and duvet cover too, which suggests this is a manufacturing issue. Unfortunately the items are out of the guarantee period, but have had very little (if any) use in our spare bedroom.

We have had sets from other suppliers that have lasted many years, as you would expect with a premium product.

Soak & Sleep offered a 20% refund which I find unreasonable given the overall cost and expectations from a premium product.

No Customer Service At All

Very poor Customer Service. We had issues with a fully-paid up subscription. I have called over 6 times, only to have my calls drop after 30 minutes of on-hold. I have requested a call-back endless times. I have emailed them five times with no response at all. I even wrote and posted a letter requesting support. I have never received any response in over two months.

Avoid this one.

Never Again - Don't Trust Clear Check Ltd

Never again. You pay a lot of money for nothing. How this company is allowed to remain in business is beyond belief.

We applied for Enhanced Checks, yet they went ahead with basic checks which were no good to us. Despite telling them of their mistakes and requesting a refund, they fail to respond to messages.

You can't call them, only login via their frustrating web site that asks for more payments each time you want to do something.

Rogue traders. One to be avoided.

Avoid This Company & Clear Check Ltd

How this company is allowed to trade beggars belief.

Firstly we applied for Enhanced DBS Checks, and completed the forms accordingly. They seemed to have ignored our requirements and sent us for the Basic Checks.

The Government (basic) checks came back last week, yet I cannot get the information from this company. WE have paid all this money and nothing has updated at their end.

Each time you want to do something they ask for more money. We are up to several hundred pounds and have nothing to show for it.

They do not respond to requests for refunds, despite their own failings.

This is certainly a company to avoid.

Avoid Enversia - Just the Worst

Avoid. They make their cheap products look good online, then you receive total rubbish, or they send a different product (as in my case).

The goods are shipped within the UK, but returns are handled through China with a 45-day refund policy.

So, it costs you more to send the item back that the cost of the item, even though the supplier is at fault.

They will be operating under different names to avoid stacking up bad reviews. Be warned.

Do Not Use This Company

Avoid this company. Despite running a UK web site, and shipping goods within the UK, they transact from China and and laugh in the face of UK Consumer Protection regulations. They refuse to accept any returns within the UK and you must return items to China. They ask for a fully tracked service which is very expensive. Often more than the cost of the goods.

They get away with sending you poor quality items and avoid any returns. Do not use this company.

Breaking The Law - Avoid this company.

Having ordered two Segboards, both failed in a very short space of time. I had two very upset children.

Unfortunately the quality of these mass-produced products is very poor internally. Its not a question of 'will they fail', its 'when will they fail'.

The UK law is very clear in Consumer Rights and this company tried to dupe me at every stage.

1. They tried to get me to pay for the warranty return shipping. Be aware that they are fully aware that this is a blatant breach of UK Consumer Law and it took many emails before they agreed to collect the items themselves. Even their own web site terms and conditions said that they will arrange return, but they overlooked this.

2. Repaid was guaranteed at 14 days, however took over one month before they were returned to me.

3. Upon return the original faults were still very apparent and one Segway was in pieces in its box!

It took a further month for them to collect the items again. I refused to use a drop-off courier as the onus was on UK Segboards, and I should not be out of pocket.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I was now entitled to a full refund, and despite my requests they tried to return the items to me again. After a further month I got my money back. I had to get MasterCard involved.

Do not use this company. The products are not of suitable quality. They are in blatant breach of The Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Save your money and the hassle and go elsewhere.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Like so many reviews here, Affinity Find is certainly one to be avoided.

I ordered a 38 inch waist trouser but received a 32 inch waist trouser. I have emailed their customer service and sent them photographs of the trousers, including a tape measure along side clearly showing the difference in size.

I have raised the problem with Affinity Find who have not responded to my emails.

I shall also be including my review comments on Facebook to warn others. I encourage anyone else to share their experiences.

Luckily I have paid by PayPal so hopefully I have some reprieve.

Great Company Great Service

Foneangels have done it again.

Send them something broken and they fix it. Yes, okay, but its the way they fix it ... quickly ... and the way they keep you updated with the fix ... every step of the way.

I only sent my iPad to Foneangels yesterday. I am advised that it has already been fixed and is on its way back to me! Beat that!

Simply Great customer service and I can't recommend them highly enough.
