WARNING DANGEROUS CERTS

WARNING YOUR GAS OR ELECTICITY MAY BE DANGEROUS. Be warned. I obtained an EIRC cert from Myconstructor and asked a known and reputable Electrician to do the work the cert said I needed. He took one look at the cert and said it was invalid as it showed tests for circuits I did not have, impossible reading on other circuits and also flagged perfectly good circuits (as per Myconstructor) as faulty that the cert did not flag up. They sub contract to electricians who do not know what they are doing. YOU MAY HAVE A CERT THAT SAY YOUR GAS OR ELECTRICITY IS SAFE WHEN IT MAY BE DANGEROUS.

Stena f- very poor

Went Stena from Fishguard to Rosslare and return. Paid extra for Stena Plus Lounge. Well what can we say.
Supposed to get a choice of comfortable seating, complimentary drinks, snacks and newspapers, a dedicated waiter service and much more!
Seating was hard and uncomfortable. Not the greatest of food selection, some biscuits, two types of cakes, one breakfast cereal, tea and coffee and soft drinks and wine. Saw very little waiter service. Not sure what the "much more!" was.
Return trip was cancelled by Stena and we were redirected to Irish Ferries. Nice seats, good spread of food and drink and friendly and attentive waiters,
Will never use Stena again, very poor.
Irish ferries will have my business from now on.

Complete crap

Complete crap, AND you pay for it. Response times are shocking (my Broadband runs at over 50mps) and to add to that it crashes my smart TV if it runs for an hour or so. This does not happen on any other streaming service. Connect to ITV X and go and make a cup of tea, it won't have finished starting up before you get back.

Number of rings before Voicemail.

If you are "pay monthly" you cannot change the number of rings before it goes to voice mail. You can change it if you are "pay as you go". This is VERY VERY annoying as it is hard to get to the phone in time. The Tesco web site says:-
* Please note, this setting is only available for Pay as you go customers; Pay monthly devices will ring for 10 seconds before going to voicemail.

WHY

Other than this it is an excellent service.

ITV X is just ITV Hub with all the old problems

ITV X is just ITV Hub with a new name. all the same problems. Hangs. Then says "oops there's a problem" and crashes. None of the other streaming sites have this issue. Difference is that you don't pay the other site for no adds. ITV X needs to get some decent IT people to look at their network and set up. Probably outsourcing and offshoring. Would be good if they got their act together. Renaming to a jazzy new name does not get rid of the basic problems

Went to a DIY store. When I came out car wouldn't start dead battery. Called RAC and said need a jump start to get home. Got text to say when RAC would attend and told 270 minutes YES FOUR AND A HALF HOURS.

DON'T buy carpets from Prima

I have ordered many parts from Prima and have had good service. I decided to buy a new set of carpets (reviews for carpets were NOT good) but decided to go for it. Sorry to say they sell carpets with a delivery date (estimated) that they can't meet. Now two weeks overdue and they say they have no idea when the carpets will be ready. Still advertising carpets with expected delivery date they can't realistically meet. If other companies sold items they know they can't deliver it would be call FRAUD.

Response to Prima Response.
You can't keep blaming things on Covid. If you have supply chain issues DON'T give false availability. Covid (and Brexit) have been going on long enough for you to understand supply chain issues and set expectations accordingly.
I do not wish to to cancel and refund I would like the product and realistic delivery timescales.

Excellent service and help

Have had a lot of problems finding the correct battery, laptopbattery were very helpful and sent me a battery which proved to be the wrong one (getting the correct one for my PC is a BIG problem).

Called laptopbattery and spoke to Paul. He was extremely helpful and arrange collection of the battery. He then spent a long time heling me find the correct battery for my PC. Sadly it was not one they stock.

If ever I need a new PC battery or other accessory I will definitely use laptopbattery as my first port of call.

Will never use PayPal from this point

Will never use PayPal from this point forward for buying things. If your product is faulty and if the supplier is being difficult the only PayPal refund option that come close is "item not as described". PapPal refuse the case as it is as described. NEVER USE PAYPAL use your credit card.

UK web site fronting fake China goods

UK web site fronting fake China goods. Say Fast dispatch, took 6 weeks with stupid reasons for delay. Item useless, returns very difficult and put barrier after barrier to stop you getting a refund. DON'T USE. wish there was a minus 5 stars.

Shame you can't give zero

Shame you can't give zero.

When it works it's OK but god forbid if there is a problem. took them a MONTH to sort it out, no phone or internet. Excuses were like joke out of a Xmas cracker. I know a bit about telecoms (worked in IT for over 40 years) and the excuses just did not add up (basically lies).

Then to add insult to injury, when I changed suppliers they messed that up and I lost my landline number and charged me for the privilege!!

Should be renamed to Zeronet or better still Minusnet.

I'm afraid although with faults we look to resolve and progress the issues as swiftly as we can however a lot of the time there's factors outside of our control that can impact a fault being resolved.
I'm sorry to hear you also had issues when trying to transfer your number elsewhere however this sounds more to be an issue with the provider who tried to take over the service and them perhaps not taking over the active line and number with it. Once a new provider has a take over order for your line and number then there's nothing we can do to stop this unless you got in touch to tell us you didn't want the service transferring elsewhere.

Purchased a new charger for my HP Laptop. Very pleased. The Charger was an authentic HP charger (not a generic Charger which can damage the laptop). Needed the charger urgently and the staff were extremely helpful.
