Excellent Service by Revive

Revive both their central team but especially Trevor and Jack were brilliant. The work was done to such a high standard that wish they could do the whole car. Very strong team and especially having a Jaguar the team do a lot of work with JLR which also underlined my confidence when making the initial decision. I could not recommend more highly and can reassure this is a "real " customer review.

A disgraceful service

A disgraceful service. They take the money out of your account without any auto renew Information. When you ring up to cancel the cancel option just rings and rings. The renewal option they also don't answer and just says call back. This is the worst insurance renewal practise and service I have clever come across. Please do not make the same mistake as me by using them. I hate to think how poor if you had a claim!

Update. I eventually got through and they say they will refund which we await. I stand by the review and warn others. They say you can cancel online but this is not correct, chat bot has no supervision and you cannot remove your card details. Direct Line was cheaper and more reputable should anyone read this.

We like John Lewis and finance…

We like John Lewis and finance especially for first year insurance. We had taken both house and contents insurance. Bothe separate as it was cheaper in 2024/2025. However the renewal came in 40% higher on both separate policies. This was outrageous. They claim it is inflation, increasing claims but other quotes do not have these issues. This is simply greed of the underwriter/John Lewis or both. It reflects very poorly on the trust of this brand. We have no claims on our insurance on both house and contents and had Gold cover. I am writing this review as I think regulators should not allow such gross changes to premiums year over year without fair reason and should be regulated and to alert others. You may get a fair quote for first year (maybe) but not after and none of our criteria has changed. When they say cover unlimited" what they mean is there Fees are unlimited" Shame on you John Lewis. Think the underwriter was Munich Re. Now with Home protect underwritten by AXA. Hope this helps someone and if anyone senior at John Lewis reads this they should solve this immediately. PS we had cover costing £2.5K per year so was not cheap to start with!

SJP fees too high and performance very…

SJP fees too high and performance very rarely top quartile. SJP should have more independence. I have rated a 3 as my adviser is a 5 but SJP products and performance and fees less so brings me to a 3. You have to realise you will pay more and get less. For complete novices perhaps fine albeit still think fees and performance high vs other investments

This has to be the worst service I have…

This has to be the worst service I have ever had in my life. I knew there would be lead time so that was fine. But delivery is absolutely atrocious. 3 failed appointment times. You chase and resolution team who are nice takes 25 mins to get through. Then on final delivery the pallet force guy was abnoxious totally rude, even though I was explaining other firms deliver. I will probably ask for a full refunds as this has been the most farsical transaction ever and hope others are aware before they purchase. UPDATE: within 20 mins of me posting this review had a call from the owner. Apologised profusely and is actioning a change here. He sounded shocked and genuine that this is not the service he would expect and I believe him and will also do something commercial re this as well. So here is hoping that Tom can come through which ai am sure he will. He sounded very genuine Re improving and hence wanted to be balanced and promised I would edit this review. 2ND UPDATE : TOM has gone out of his way to get the goods delivered which has now occurred and has been excellent since his involvement! The goods are great.
