Went into DID Tullamore to buy a coffee machine. Mandy was absolutely brilliant and talked us through our options. We decided on the Ninja Luxe Cafe on her recommendation. Excellent service and glad to support an Irish business.

Hi there,
We're happy to hear that you had such a positive experience in our Tullamore store. We appreciate your kind words about the service you received and are glad you're happy with your new coffee machine. Thank you for supporting our business.
I asked if there are customs charges if ordering from their Europe website for delivery yo an EU country and they can't tell me. This doesn't make sense, surely they know if they are paying duties when they transfer stock to their EU warehouse or if the customer pays. All other websites clearly state if there are duties to be paid by customer or not.

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve not been able to get the information you need.
Our terms and conditions for Import Duty and VAT are as follows:
‘The prices payable for goods as set out on the website are inclusive of VAT and shipping/handling costs for UK buyers.
EU deliveries are charged in GBP and dispatched from our EU-based warehouse. Prices may vary. Prices are quoted net of import VAT, customs duty and other levies or taxes. As an importer of the goods into these member states, you are solely responsible for all import VAT, customs duty, other levies, tariffs or taxes and these may be payable on delivery of the goods to you.
International orders may be similarly subject to import taxes, customs duties and other levies. Prices quoted exclude these fees, and it is the buyer's responsibility to settle these as necessary. Ordering from Simply Supplements signals your acceptance of these terms.’
This information and more is available on our website, ‘terms and conditions’, under ‘General’ and ‘Import Duty and VAT’.
I hope you are able to find this information useful.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I order a photo calendar every year, but this year there was an issue with delivery, Parcel Force said it was collected from a post office but it wasn't. Pixa Prints offered me a reprint which I accepted. They are a great company to deal with.
I returned a parcel using label provided on 20 May. Tracking says it was received 5 days ago, email support takes over 8 days to respond apparently. Live chat is just a robot. No refund received. This is very worrying as I can't contact them.
Customers from Ireland must be aware return cost is an eye-watering 10€. This was my first purchase, I checked return process before I ordered, nowhere does it say the actual cost. In fact the actual heading reads, "Free Replacement & Returns Information Free Exchanges for better size or style Easy, paperless returns and exchanges" I mistakenly thought this meant free returns, as I suspect i was meant to think. I'll chalk it up to experience but won't risk ordering again. Good quality clothes though. Shame. *****update****** It would be helpful if it was clearly stated on your website that returns are not free. As stated above your site reads FREE EXCHANGES AND RETURNS INFORMATION. This is misleading.I did not email customer care, what would be the point?

Hi Leanne
We're sorry for any confusion or upset caused here. This certainly wouldn't be our intention.
I don't see that we have received any emails to our care team in regards to your return.
However, please note as per our returns policy, if a return is submitted for exchange or store credit, but refund is then requested, the prepaid label cost will be deducted from your refund.
This is €10.00 to cover the cost of the return parcel being sent back to us.
Of course, you do not need to use our label. We offer this for convenience for our customers, and if you do not wish to use this you can use your own carrier.
I wrote a review here in January, and reading this morning, it seems like many other people have had the same issue as I had, where Holland and Barrett accept an order but do not deliver. I was one of the ones who they would not refund, thankfully PayPal stepped in and refunded me. I do notice, though, that Holland and Barrett have replied to every other trust pilot review except mine. This just cements my resolve to never purchase from them again. If they had looked at my account history, they would have seen that I was a loyal customer, spending a lot of money annually with this company. Obviously they have no value on loyal customers from Ireland. I have since started shopping from an Irish company, where I should have been spending my money all along.

Just want to congratulate Mint Velvet on their fab service. I ordered for the first time a few weeks ago, arrived quickly. Unfortunately had to return but refund processed promptly. I will shop with you again. Thankyou.

Thank you for your kind feedback. I'm so pleased to hear that your order arrived quickly and even though this was returned, the refund was processed in a timely manner. I hope you enjoy shopping with us again soon.
I placed an order on 8 Jan, on 20th Jan after several emails where I was told to wait another 48 hours,I requested a cancellation and refund so I could go to the shop and buy there instead. I was told this was done, but when my refund did not appear ( I paid with PayPal), I contacted them and they said there is a problem with refund team. I am still waiting and being fobbed off by the customer services. I spent over €70 euro which they say they have a problem refunding. This shows zero regard for their customers. I will never order from them again. I had been a customer for years. UPDATE 30 JAN, PayPal settled case in my favour today, they got no response from H&B. I spoke to a H&B agent on Friday afternoon, a woman, whose first language was not English. I hope they recorded the call, I have never spoken to anyone as rude. She treated me like an imbecile and when j tried to explain my position, she muted the call. She left me in tears. I will never buy from them again. And I spent hundreds of euro every year. Absolutely diabolical service.
Baukjen will not allow you to change your shipping country while viewing their clothes. They assume from your current location where your delivery destination will be and you can only view the clothes in that currency. For people who travel a lot or people in Ireland who use a uk delivery address it is impossible to shop. You must actually be present at time of ordering in the country you wish to have product delivered. All other UK companies have a pop up saying " we think you are in Ireland however if you wish to change your currency/shipping location click here". Dominic from Baukjen was most unhelpful when I questioned why Baukjen don't do this. This. Below is his reply "Please note that if your billing details are registered to Ireland you will be charged in Ireland." What does that even mean? Really awful service.

Dear Leanne,
Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We have now contacted you separately to further explain and discuss the matter should you wish too.
White stuff now insist that Ireland customers use their Rebound portal for returns. You won't know the cost of the return until you begin the process as they charge depending on the value and quantity of order. Therefore I am afraid to order as I have not got an idea how much the return would cost. I assume Wjite Stuff are passing on return custom fees to the customer and this process reflects this. Seems a bit sneaky and underhand. They should give Irish customers the option to return from Northern Ireland ( still in the UK) for free as Ireland is a small island and some people cross the border on a daily basis.I can't see myself ordering from White Stuff again until they change their return process.

Hi LeeBee.
Thank you your review and the feedback you have provided on our international returns system.
You have made very some important points and we have forwarded this on to our Logistics & Ecommerce teams to review
I returned an item on 7th May from Ireland using the provided address label to the Netherlands Hub. I am still waiting on my refund and contacted Monsoon 8 days ago but no reply at all from them. This is very worrying as there is no tracking information on Irish returns. I would be very reluctant to order again

Hello, we do apologise for this. We are experiencing a very high volume of queries. If your query still hasn't been answered please email us with the title Trustpilot review, and we will be happy to assist further. However, our free An Post return labels for our ROI customers do have a unique tracking number on them which should have been provided to you on your receipt when handing your parcel into your local post office. Many thanks, Monsoon
