Fantastic service as always

We’ve worked with Nicola a couple of times now, and as always, she’s been absolutely fantastic. Most recently she helped us look at our options for Japan cruises, and her knowledge, professionalism, and friendly approach made the whole process so easy. Nicola took the time to understand what we were looking for and guided us through the choices with patience and great advice. She always provides such a high standard of service, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about finding the right trip for her clients. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone planning their next cruise – thank you, Nicola!

Order the same merch from more reputable stores

So disappointed in my experience with Plus44. I ordered from the Silverstone collection for my brother's birthday. I saw it said 6-7 week delivery time, but didn't specify an actual date. I looked a couple of weeks later and it still said the same delivery lead time on the product page, and there was no update on my order.
I noticed on the F1 store that you could buy the same product with dispatch the next day. I was confused, so I reached out to the customer service team at Plus44 and they said it would be 6-7 weeks from my order date. I cannot understand how other retailers can send you the products from this store significantly more quickly.
I asked them to cancel my order, to which they swiftly replied that there are no cancellations. All sales are final and there are no refunds. I was horrified at this response, which also seems to be against Trading Standards in the UK? These are not customised items, it doesn't even sound like the products have been produced yet. I challenged the customer service team and they ignored multiple emails thereafter. I have not heard from them again.
I raised a dispute with my credit card company and have managed to get my money back. I ordered from the Official F1 store and got the same T-Shirt 2 days later....
Still cannot quite get my head around the lead times. Nor can I understand the no refunds or cancellations policy. Customer service is non-existent and I honestly cannot believe that Lewis Hamilton is associated with this business. This experience has left my with a bad taste in my mouth....not protecting your customers and fans feels, dare I say, greedy? I so wanted to support Lewis and Mission 44 directly but I won't bother in the future.

Great booking experience with Nicola.

This is the first time we have used Panache but so far, so good! I sent an enquiry through the website and Nicola called me back within 30 mins - I was impressed by how quick the response was. Nicola was incredibly helpful and came back to us quickly with quotes. She was friendly and did not pressure us at all. The quotes were very competitive compared to quotes we had received from other agents. I liked that she has actually been on the cruise line we were looking at, so she could speak from experience about what they are like, as it will be our first time cruising with this line.
We booked our holiday with her yesterday, but have been thoroughly impressed with the experience so far!

Drivers do not even attempt delivery

Just received an email to tell me no one was in. There are 3 adults in the house, we have been here all day. This is a complete lie. The driver just took a picture of the outside of our house, clearly without even bothering to get out of his van. Lazy, disgusting and dishonest. I paid extra for named day delivery, but this guy just can't be bothered to do his job.
We received an Evri delivery earlier on - no issues whatsoever - definitely choose Evri over DPD if you want to get your parcel!

Contractors are aggressive and threatening -

Installed a pole on our land. No notices had been put up ahead of installation, as is required. Contractor manager on the phone was rude and threatened to call the police on me multiple times, after accusing me of preventing his men from installing the pole on our land, which I absolutely did not do. Again, this is all on our property. I had merely stated the position, that this was our land and there had been no notices.
He was rude and aggressive. I was very upset by the whole encounter. He even told me he had been recording the call and could prove I had said that I would be preventing the pole from being put up. I had not been told at any stage prior to that that the call was being recorded, as is also required by GDPR. He later had to apologise to me once his men set him straight that I had not done anything to prevent the installation and had not said that I would. I had merely said that this was our land and queried where the notices had been put up ahead of installation to say the pole would be erected. They could not tell me. Nor could the man on the phone. He said that he would come back to me on this in due course, he even offered to come to the property.
Post this interaction and installation of the pole, I requested a copy of the recording under GDPR and asked where the notice about the pole erection had been placed. I was told that he would come back to me on this. Several weeks later after no further response I sent a reminding email.
I was told at this stage there was no recording and I must have "misheard" because I was "constantly interrupting and talking over" this disgustingly rude contractor who had installed a pole in my land with no prior notice. The contractor was now also clearly a LIAR and had attempted to intimidate and bully me by lying about having a recording of the call. He was trying to suggest I said something I did not say and he even had to apologise to me for suggesting I had said it once he had spoken to his men. I put this to him and he suggested my tone was "aggressive and slanderous" and not to contact him again.
Openreach did come and arrange for the removal of the pole swiftly.
They still have not been able to tell me where the notices were put up prior to pole erection but have assured me they were there, but someone else must have taken them down. Given that I actually live here and would have seen them I am confident that there were never any notices put up. They even tried to send me pictures of notices relating to a different pole and suggest that they were them. I was able to send them pictures of this notice and indicate that they clearly referred to a different site.

I raised the compaint with Openreach about the contractor conduct. They failed to respond with even an apology and ignored repeated requests to address the contractor conduct. Clearly it is acceptable as an Openreach contractor to harrass and threaten members of the public on their own land, and accused them of "slander". There will be no repercussions for the contractor. They do not seem concerned about the potential GDPR breach either or, if there has been no breach, the fact that the contractor lied about a recording in order to try and intimidate a member of the public on their own land.

All of this could have been avoided had there been notices put up ahead of pole installation, but Openreach failed to follow their own procedures in this respect. They will not accept the same.

It is completely unacceptable and utterly disgusting that I should be spoken to in an aggressive manner and threatened on my own property. I did not invite this situation into my life, it was forced on me by Openreach.

Openreach should be ashamed at how they have handled this, or should I say, how they have completely failed to handle this. Their complaints team is a complete joke.

No customer service whatsoever

If you do order from Anthropologie, pray that nothing goes wrong with your order. Customer service will be no help at all. I was told I had successfully cancelled my order, only to receive the dispatch notification the next day. I had the parcel delivered to a Collect+ location...or at least I was supposed to. The parcel was lost at the depot. After over a week of chasing it and being told it would definitely be delivered the next day, they said it was lost so would return to the retailer. I am not sure how they do this if the parcel is lost....anyway, I am supposed to wait for the parcel to be returned to receive my refund. Who knows if it will ever happen! Customer services are useless - they were the ones who originally said the order had been successfully cancelled, they have been beyond unhelpful since. They do not read what you have written or the history of your query. There is no process to make a formal complaint.

Great quality and gorgeous design but very long lead times

Great quality and gorgeous design. However, lead times on furniture is very long and when I tried to clarify when my delivery would be, the customer service team member I spoke to was beyond unhelpful and rude.

Lovely plants and pots and super fast delivery!

Today I received my first order from Canopy Plants. I ordered on Wednesday and received it today - so super fast delivery! The plant and the pot were really well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. There was even a little hand-written thank you note inside, along with care instructions for the plant. This was a lovely little touch and I will certainly be ordering from Canopy Plants again!

A Brilliant Service

Superdrug's Online Doctor service is incredible. I have been getting my prescription from them for years, because it is SO much easier than trying to get anything through my doctor. I couldn't be doing with the hassle! It is an absolute breeze with Superdrug and the prescription is usually delivered to me by the next day.

In my opinion, this is a service that Superdrug really do not promote enough. I get my prescriptions through them and I have even had holiday vaccinations with them, that I booked one day and received the jab the next! I had been trying with MASTA for weeks, got nowhere, and MASTA charge huge fees even for a consultation. Superdrug was quick, much cheaper, efficient and the pharmacist at Wolverhampton was lovely!

Cannot recommend Online Doctor enough.

I don't think my next day parcel will ever be delivered

My parcel was supposed to arrive last Wednesday. I have received multiple emails from Hermes telling me that it has been delayed but that it will be on the move within 24 hours. Yet I am still parcel-less. On Amazon it says that there is information that Hermes needs from me, but on the Hermes website (I have tried to call and to chat with them using their ChatBot) I am just told that it has been delayed with no further information. There is no way to get in touch with an actual human being and so no way to find out what is going on. My housemate has the same issue, however, he has been able to raise an enquiry with Hermes as the website will acknowledge that they need more information from him.

I have no faith that my parcel will ever be delivered and I can only hope that Amazon will use literally any other method of delivery for the replacement order that I will no doubt have to request.

Customer service is completely non existent and it is impossible to speak to anyone.

Missing parts

Update from my previous review.

Ordered a wardrobe from Very. One of the parts was missing, which meant that the drawer in the bottom could not be completed - it is the side of the drawer so quite a big piece to be missing.

I managed to get in touch with the company that deals with spare parts and they confirmed back to me that they have no stock remaining of this part and do not expect to get any more in. I phoned Very for a partial refund/discount and was offered 8% initially - which worked out at about £14. After waiting on hold the man on the phone (who was very polite and did do all I believe that he could) told me he could increase this to £20.

Great, so a £20 refund and a wardrobe that will remain half finished forever more.

Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. They expect you to spend hours on the phone to them to resolve their issues.

I recently purchased a wardrobe, which was missing a part. I have been told (after navigating through their torturous autocue phone system) that the item is out of stock and I will just have to keep phoning back every week or two in the vain hope that it is eventually back in stock. They have no system of placing this on back order for me. It is down to me to designate at least one hour of my time per week to phoning Very to ask them for the side of one drawer to make my wardrobe usable.

Thanks Very. You have been so unbelievably bad that I will NEVER, EVER, EVER order anything from again.

Holiday cancelled due to Covid…

Holiday cancelled due to Covid restrictions. They have kept our money (over £400) and we cannot even get a response from them regarding a refund! Utterly disgusting and outrageous. Avoid this company at all costs.

Had to cancel - large portion of our deposit not refunded

We were travelling as a group of 10 friends and booked
a property through Cornish Gems. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay in October 2020 due to the introduction of the rule of 6. They were very difficult to get hold of, ignored 2 emails that I sent, and then took it upon themselves to keep £100 of our deposit for "costs already incurred" - I am not clear on what costs could possibly have been incurred when this was cancelled over a month before the date we were due to arrive. Seems they are profiting off travellers' misfortune. When other travel companies are being so good at offering FULL refunds during the current situation Cornish Gems are really showing themselves up. Would not use again.
