JA1 was awesome

JA1 was awesome, super clear and very helpful

I took a new policy (moving from aviva) 10th September but today I was due to take my new car and sell my old

Things didn’t go as planned and was sale only

Have never sold a vehicle without buying a new, I wasn’t sure what I needed to do so spoke to JA1

Jake advised me of the process, I am still within my cooling off period
He also granted an extension (to ensure the policy didn’t automatically cancel) on the off chance my new vehicle turns up in the next 2 weeks

Super clear, super information - best service- as online chats can often be clunky and impersonal

Great service Josh (ja1)

I’m 100% on my next steps and options

And clear understanding of my policy t&c prior to go live

All handed well, some upselling attempted but to be expected
I actually added guaranteed hire car on the back of the conversation

Helped me understand the terms of comprehensive plus, as we as update my licence plate. Due a small refund; gave it to their registered charity

I can only comment on the service so far, let’s see what happens if I ever need to change my car lol… reading some of the other experiences, makes me nervous

Amazing experience

1st experience of independent financial advice and was a really positive experience

Initially looking at making my money work for me, looking towards the future and my pension health, a quick google search and due diligence checks, I landed on Eadon & co.

From the first interactions with Rebecca and Elizabeth, then my consultations with Dan, through to consolidating my pensions funds, and the post transfer experience with Becci, I can not speak highly enough of the team.

Super flexible and my work pattern is very fluid, great comms and great engagement from the whole team

Their goal always came across as simple clear advice, with no hard sell.

Recommendations/ suitability’s were transparent, even when I had questions.

The whole team has made the process straight forward and hassle free, and were happy to take feedback, which shows an elevated level of customer engagement and focus on the customer relationship.

High recommend

4th car in 36 months……

4th car in 36 months……

……And couldn’t be happier.
Stratstone bmw, Leeds since my first purchase during Covid (remote sale, no test drive) to my wife’s most recent purchase, the service levels have been amazing.

There have been bumps in the road from system issues with custom options orders to stock availability but over the last 36 months:

Kim
Nathan
Ben
Ali and most recently Kamal, the service levels have been amazing

Dealership mentality has changed and now with price transparency the focus has to be on service and Leeds Stratstone, has delivered 4 cars in a row with fantastic service and aftercare.

Tip for anyone invited to VIP Events, the offers are what they say they are- unique to the event. I’ve been to other group VIP events and been offered the same value than non-events. Stratstone vip event deals are something to pay attention to.

Have used for last 4 years now- always best rates online

used moneysupermarket to check rates and travelfx always come out best for £1000+

Arrived on date specified, and always a mix of notes. Nothing more annoying that large bills as they don’t go down well
In shops and restaurants so good to see a mix of small and large notes in my order

Great experience as always

Great experience - 4th consecutive car with directgap

Great buying experience with directgap in particular Paul who arranged my recent cover

Due to the resolved fca market intervention, my purchase was delayed a couple of days, and as an existing policy holder, I rang through rather than through self serve portal.

As per usual the service was exceptional, cancelling my existing, transferred the rebated £ to my new policy and was up and running again with no policy in about 10 mins

Knowledgeable and open with data. Hopefully I never have to use the policy but it’s good to know I have a fca accredited honest insurance company behind me


Highly recommend, there are cheaper companies but always check the value proposition not just the cost.

Always great value and choice

Have used gardening express numerous times now and find their pricing on a par with my local nurseries, if not, a little cheaper.

The sale offerings are where the value is at and offer certain varieties I can’t get at my local nurseries.


My most recent purchase:
Chinese fragrant jasmine- arrived perfect - described as delicate garden climber but consensus is a house plant due to delicate nature - I bought for garden so let’s see

Clematis grandiflora - 4 purchased. 1 looks a little woody and not many buds. Main stems looks old but hoping it’s fine once planted

Had a laburnum with yellow and pink flowers - can’t remember specific name, plus other bits and pieces for my garden

Overall, arrive well packed and good quality (bar the one sad looking clematis)

Not enough to drop down from 5 stars, that would be harsh

Can’t go wrong with travelfx

Have used travelfx 3 times for last 3 hols over last 3 years.

A little hesitant at first buying currency online, but can’t fault the rates and the quick dispatch

Only slight this time was if asked for a specific day for currency to be delivered (coinciding with my day off) but due to how fast the order was processed and dispatch, it arrived earlier than requested

Great rates, great service and quick dispatch.

Rolex AD experience at its finest

Don’t tarnish all Rolex AD with the same brush

Just had the best experience ever at Preston’s Victoria gate Leeds

I’ve been working towards a Rolex explorer 1 36mm for a few years now and finally pulled the trigger and reached out to Preston’s diamonds Leeds

Initial comms over email from Shannon were amazing, I have a few other watches and know the scarcity vs demand of Rolex

She was informed, genuine and happy to assist in information/ other model considerations etc

After Shannon identifying I was well researched and knew my model choice was right for me, she booked me in for appointment on Tues 21st

The boutique experience was amazing. Niamh (hope that’s how you spell it) spent time getting to know me and my wife, we felt comfortable throughout. (Having had a less positive experience at another ad mid Covid) this was a breath of fresh air

I’d read the blogs, watched the videos, read the hype about ad experiences and can say Preston’s is not your average ad

Niamh showed me a couple of models outside of my preferred to show me options, dial sizes, DJ vs explorer. But as she had actively listened throughout, she was quick to acknowledge that although the other models were stunning IRL, the explorer was the one for me. Dial size, look on wrist was perfect. Niamh shared how to look at the watch on wrist, how it sat and how many links you should be able to see, but also knew it’s just as much about the customers preferences on wrist.

Then….Much to my surprise (expecting a wait list email and a polite, not today) Niamh returned from placing the other display models away, to advise that … in her words… ‘I’ve only ever seen this happen twice before’….. I was able to purchase on the day

I can’t tell you how happy I was and the whole experience has made me a Preston’s customer for life

Paul at directgap = 5 stars

Policy ending 027

Have been with gap for the last 2 vehicles replacement policies so now I’ve changed my car, there was no question it was going to be directgap again

Paul made it so simple, the web purchase is easy, but as it was a potential transfer, I rang up.

Paul walked me through the options, updated my address, rebated my old policy and sorted my new, for the day of collection. He made sure I was never without cover during the handover.

Brilliant service for Paul and the team at directgap.

Had an accident feb 2020- all downhill from there

Had an accident feb 2020, claim was dealt with quickly and little fuss. Excess paid whilst we disputed liability. From that point on, all down hill. Long and short of it. Ended up In court as the claim (nearly ended up with a ccj) as the dispute was not resolved. Action365 stopped responding to 3rd insurer. Court found my not liable in early 2021. The insurance appointed solicitor dealt with the ccj issue.

Since then I’ve been chasing my recovered excess which I was told would be paid back to me (as I was not at fault) as part of the costs recovery from 3rd party.

Can’t get through to anyone, no one Responds via email. Complaints team via email team have stopped responding to my requests and it’s now September 2022. I am owed this money as I paid my excess as liability was not determined at point of accident.

I was told all costs would be recovered but it takes time. It’s been over a year since the court case and I’m still waiting, and no one gets back to me. The complaints team has an sla of 48hrs and no one ever replies- please get in contact to resolve - action 365. You have enough notes on my file ref 550562.

Sale of my tag heuer Calibre 6

Having never used Watchmaster before, I was a little apprehensive at the start. But by the end of the process, I was more than happy and would defo recommend. I sold my tag heuer calibre 6 small seconds, with ivory dial and brown crocodile strap.

Clear and transparent communication, simple sell process from shipping my watch back, to the release of funds. I achieved the sale price agreed and looking elsewhere (eBay) I achieved about market average for that particular model.

I would definitely recommend and will use again.

Great name, even better experience

Great experience from browsing to delivery

What more this there to add. Easy website to browse, plenty of choice, delivered within the timeframes specified. Will defo use again

Only improvement I’d make is look at the costs of delivery in terms of stacking costs

Ie costs of delivery/ then costs of nominated days etc

I’d have 1 cost - x price for standard non nominated or x price for nominated day. I nominated a day for convenience but my p&p was combined.

Had an accident in feb 2020 and now have a ccj

Had an accident in feb 2020. I paid my excess on the day of incident, to get my car repaired and continue the claims process until settlement. The 3rd claimed against me disputing the fact that I was hit in the rear, the 3rd party stated it was my fault

Although I submitted my details and 3rd party, I received a letter in April from the 3rd insurer solicitor stating, they had not been contacted by my insurer and should this continue I would be taken to court personally. I was assured my action365 that they were disputing until resolved. And to forward the email to them directly to courtdocs dept.

Months went on and I was advised it was in dispute at various intervals but reassured this was normal. I had various comms from customer service and complaints reassuring me it was in process and it takes time due to the two differing series off events.

I left at renewal as my brokerage had changed and they couldn’t find a quote competitive. On leaving Pukka/ action365 I was informed that once the claim was settled I’d be informed of the outcome.

As of today 16/11 I have been issued with a ccj as Pukka/ action365 have not been in contact with the 3rd party insurer at any point, and have not responded the ccj application dated 2/11/20 so therefore the solicitor has come directly to me and action a ccj against me personally. My job and livelihood are now at risk as I work in a financially regulated industry, with periodic background checks. My credit file has already been adversely affected.

Unless I pay within the next 14 days in will have a ccj in file for the next 6 years through no fault of my own, lack of action from action365

I have no confidence in a resolution in this time and don’t have the claimants £1500 being sought from me directly.

Resolve this ASAP

Great company, great product. All boiler services used.

2nd annual service complete. Mohammed was on time, kept me updated on eta. Polite and friendly, respectful whilst in my home given the circumstances. 2nd service completed without any problems. Advised of digital service docs available within a couple days.

This is my second year of a two year term with yourrepair having previously been with British Gas. No issues whatsoever and cheaper. Also had a fault on the water tank about 8 months ago and yourrepair completed a part replacement with no issues whatsoever, even though I’d given the wrong fault description at the time. (Thought it was a fault with the boiler itself) Highly recommend.
