Title: 7 Hours Wasted – Unacceptable!


I waited 7 hours for an Openreach engineer to install my full fiber 150 connection via TalkTalk. They never showed up, and I got no call, no message, nothing. Completely unacceptable. This level of carelessness and lack of communication is shocking for a company of this size. Wasting a full day like this is disrespectful and frustrating. Openreach seriously needs to improve their scheduling and accountability.

Title Missed Appointment & Zero Communication — Extremely Frustrating

Title: Missed Appointment & Zero Communication — Extremely Frustrating

I waited from 1pm to 6pm for a TalkTalk engineer (likely Openreach) and nobody turned up. No call, no update — nothing.

Out of sheer frustration, I had to ring TalkTalk installation management twice, only to be told they had no way to contact their own engineers. Both times, I was met with pure speculation instead of real answers. On the last call, the advisor simply read “notes” that suggested the engineer might call me the following day — clearly made up on the spot.

Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time. If this is how installations are handled, I dread to think what the service will be like once live.

My experience with Severn Trent Water has been consistently positive, with no reported issues.

As a long-term customer of Severn Trent Water, my experience has consistently been positive. Throughout my life, I have never encountered any issues with their services. The water supply has always been reliable, and I've never experienced any interruptions (unless a major incident in the vicinity, that is understandable) or quality concerns.

RAC is Irresponsible company and stay away from them

Worst experience ever with RAC. Fault occurred with our vehicle in Shrewsbury and called the RAC and they asked to use the app. Logged the issue at 5pm (no human) and and received, “we will attend in 270 minutes” another message came around 11pm someone on the way to attend but to no avail. My daughter was waiting in the car in -3 degree temperature. We had enough of RAC so called a reputable garage to recover the vehicle and they did not waste time. Recovered the vehicle, dropped her home on the way to Birmingham.
RAC sent another message around midnight that they were still busy.
By that time we had everything sorted privately.
RAC called the following day around 9am but we had to reject their calls.
We were told by family and friends not to join RAC because of their past experience. I wish I had listened to them.
My daughter could not go to work as she is under the weather now because of RAC negligence.
We have reported the issue to RAC and lodged a complaint.
We will recover all our costs from RAC directly or indirectly through our legal team at court.
RAC is irresponsible company and my advice to all readers to simply stay away from them.
Their reputation even on Trustpilot is quite bad.

The Worst Customer Service

I have placed an order for Versace blue for £38.00 on sale, paid £27.00 via debit card and used £11.00 Beauty and Health points.
I have had a refund of £27.00 but £11.00 beauty & health points have not been added to my card. I have contacted their customer service twice with a gap of one week. They promised the points shall be added within 72 hours each time, but to no avail.
I had an email from the customer service that the point will be visible on my card in 4 hours and that was a week ago. It was not fulfilled at all.
Superdrug’s customer service is probably the worst I have experienced. They do not have a telephone to contact them, and it’s all through chats. You will have to explain the whole situation each time wasting hours of customers time.
The customers do not get paid for their time but the customer service advisors are paid for their time by Superdrug. They do not value customers time which could be more precious than Superdrug employees.
My order number is 10010153875 and let’s see if it can be resolved through Trustpilot.
If Superdrug does not organise their customer service and their principles, it will not survive like many it’s rivals.
Organise your business or go under!!

Nasty Experience at Superdrug Online

I have provided 5 stars review to Lewis yesterday which has now been deleted because the customer service at Superdrug doesn’t seem to know what they really are doing. Lewis replaced the order and an email of confirmation received almost immediately. Upon checking the progress of the replacement in my Superdrug app, the status was ‘Cancelled’ and it was shocking as item was a gift for someone. I was not even informed of the cancellation or an excuse was given.
I had a chat with a person called ’Callum’ and he looked into the entire situation and told me the item was out of stock, and whoever replaced an order made a mistake etc.
The only option available was a refund within 3-5 working days and the points shall be added to your account.
I have now checked the item ordered at Superdrug website and it’s available but at a higher price at £61.00 compared to the ordered price of £38.00.
How can they justify this situation? I can take legal action against Superdrug but shall be wasting my precious time.
The only option is to remove my membership and say ‘Goodbye’ to Superdrug for their alleged deception.
I will inform my family and friends not to order anything at Superdrug online.

Placed an order online for Olive Oil…

Placed an order online for Olive Oil 6x5 litre (blend) Natco. Highly disappointed as they will expire 06/22 latest. Telephoned the company about the expiry, they told me to return them at my cost. Upon checking the return cost with Hermes, they estimated at £36.00 due to its weight.
Quality Foods Online are selling items those are about to expire UNLESS the customer pacifically specify a long expiry date according to the Manager at Quality Food Online.
There are TWO options available to me, either to take this matter further with my legal team to take legal actions Or donate the Olive oil to the food bank.
I request all customers to Stay Away from this company as they are buying items at Pennies and selling them for Pounds.
Highly Disappointed

We do our best to ensure that we provide products that do not have a short expiry date and we do not sell products that are about to expire. In most cases customers do specify if they would like their products to have a very long expiry date and in this case we will carry it out. Nasty Experience

I had a price of £142 on my classic E200K with an agreed fee of £15 BUT the quotation clearly stated “agreed value not available”, and I called the company three times for this situation to be rectified but to no avail. As Journalists do not give up, called Adrian Flux again and they agreed to rectify the situation. I received an email with an additional premium of £52 but the situation did not change. I gave the a ‘Poor’ review.
They acted immediately upon receiving the review and emailed me to contact them. I spoke to a girl called’CAM’ and she quoted me an almost double the initial price of £230 underwritten by SMS Emblem. When received an email, she added £50 an arrangement fee to the initial quote with the same old underwriter AND the initial situation did not change.
Sorry, Adrian Flux, employ less but competent people, provide their names, use full sentence, value customers, efficient, work from their hearts and get the job done in the very first instance.

Exceptional Service

I have received a Tiffany type floor lamp from Value Lights, a part of LSE Group of companies. The light looks exceptionally good but there was an issue with a couple of things caused by producers packing as the light is extremely heavy. I contacted the company and spoke to Craig, took the images whilst talking, emailed and a replacement was promised the following day. Excellent service. The light was priced below all competitors. The customer service is excellent.

Complaint Resolved and Our Kitchen Now Has The Wow Factor

Finally, Wickes Kitchens customer relations department and the installation management team manager took our complaint seriously.
Chris, the installation manager came personally with an independent kitchen fitter ‘Colin Hull’ who was a true craftsman. He came with his team and spent over three working days to rectify all faults of the first fitter. It’s never too easy to rectify others faults but did his best to resolve major issues to perfection. The final kitchen has the ‘wow factor’ that we were initially looking for.
The Wickes Kitchens are of high standards but they need to reassess their kitchen fitters or may end up in failure altogether.

My Dyson V8 Absolute

My Dyson V8 absolute is less than 2 years old and have had several issues with it. The engineer came once with an appointment for over two weeks. He sorted the issue but we were without a vacuum cleaner and borrowed family and friends to clean our big house.
Another issue occurred this morning as the Cyclone Bin Assembly stopped working. I called Dyson customer service and surprisingly a person on the other end was Simon, refused to send the part, why? Too many parts were sent initially. He was rude, held me on the phone for an hour, call was dropping three times. At the end offered an engineer again 10 days later. The same old story, the Dyson genuine part was priced at £25 from Amazon, they managed to deliver the same day. It took me 5 minutes to fix the problem. My Dyson is still under warranty.
Dyson has now lost a loyal customer And please Stay Away from Dyson, as there are several other competitors with a better service and products. The choice is yours.
