Temu is ace!

Received my 2nd order from Temu this week and I cannot rate them highly enough. Delivery was within a week of ordering. I’m 5ft 11 and have to pay a fortune for long length women’s jeans in the UK. Temu’s leg lengths have been accurate and I’ve had 7 pairs of trousers from them so far. The prices are great! I got 2 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of combat trousers this time for less than I’d pay for one pair in UK. Temu, you’re ace! Thank you. 💜

Home delivery service is getting poor

I had my Tesco home delivery cancelled again today due to the van breaking down. That’s twice in the past few months. You don’t get a call or notification on the app or website that your order has been cancelled, just an email. The first time, I was able to collect but this time I couldn’t due to poor health. I couldn’t get another delivery slot for 2 days and Tesco had already taken the payment which left me with no money for up to 3-5 days before getting my money back. I had to call the contact centre to ask for my shopping to be delivered today. The contact centre is always super helpful. They called the store to rearrange delivery later today. Excellent service from the contact centre. Extremely poor home delivery service. Tesco needs to stop buying cheaper vans that break down more frequently when it’s causing so many cancelled deliveries. Yes, Tesco are saving money but it’s causing issues for their customers that rely heavily on home shopping. People with poor heath in rural areas cannot collect and shouldn’t have to either. Taking payments when Tesco cannot fulfil their obligation by delivering is also unfair when we have to wait days to get it back.

Review of Royal Mail

Royal Mail is a disgrace!

Still waiting for seven parcels and our street has had no post at all. Parcels are days overdue and some of them are tracked. For 2 days, the tracked ones said delivery today, delivery today. Now there’s no updates on them at all! I tried calling Royal Mail at 17:52 yesterday. Was in a queue until they closed at 18:30. They said the wait time could be over 60 minutes! I went to my local Post Office today. They said the postman’s off. Royal Mail do not send any cover and they do not pay RM staff overtime. Disgraceful! They’re not treating their customers or staff fairly. Shame on you Royal Mail!

Excellent!

I received my first order from Temu yesterday and I was delighted! It only took 7 days to arrive after placing the order. I ordered clothing and my expectations were low tbh. 😳 I am 5ft 11 so I was not expecting the jeans to fit in the leg but they do! It’s great that Temu accommodates us tall gals. And, the prices are fantastic. I got three pairs from Temu that cost around the same as I’d pay for one pair from a high street store.
Thanks Temu, you’ll be seeing me again soon. 😊

Excellent!

I used Compare & Recycle website to sell my phone. I made the mistake of using webuy********.com first. The cowboys graded the condition as ‘pretty good’ and offered me a pitiful £20! I would not accept their offer so I then went to gr8 mobile. I chose ‘poor’ condition as a precaution and got a payment of £71! The service was quick and effortless. My phone was inspected the day after delivery and I got the payment the same day too! Excellent service and apologies for not coming to you first!

Shocked with the evaluation!

I sent my iPhone XR which to me, was in good condition. I sent it in the original box which includes the original cable unused. I wrapped the box in bubble wrap so that it was not damaged in transit. I selected good condition which gave an evaluation of £98. They sent a video of the phone. There were no faults but there are slight scratches on the front and a noticeable mark on the back. I took pics before I sent it and they were not there. It’s unfortunate that you cannot add pics to Trust Pilot to prove the condition it was in. I have been offered a very poor £20 for it! I used Compare & Recycle to sell my phone. I have been back on their website today and if I select poor condition (which it isn’t), I can get around £70 from other recyclers.
I called and spoke to Harry on Friday afternoon. He said they will check and call me back but didn’t. I called back today and spoke to Lauren. She was lovely but could only offer me £30. They are going to return my phone.
SELLERS BEWARE:
If you select good condition, please ensure that your mobile is in pristine condition if you want the full price from this company. Be prepared for them to knock £78 off the initial evaluation if there’s a slight mark anywhere.

When you created your Trade in you selected the Good condition which must have ‘No scratches, cracks, chips, bends, damage or any sign of use on the device whatsoever. It powers on and functions as new’.

However once received and assessed by our technicians, we found your device had noticeable wear to the screen. Unfortunately, it was amended down to our pretty good condition due to this.

Excellent service

Excellent service! My tyre kept going flat so I paid for a new tyre online and scheduled a next day appointment for Kwik-Fit to attend my home address to replace it. The technician called Nathan came and said he would try to repair the existing tyre if he could as it was in good condition. He found that the valve was faulty so he replaced it and I got a refund on the tyre I bought. I would highly recommend and would use Kwik-Fit again.

Excellent Service!

I preordered the Legends Pinball Micro and it was delivered two weeks before the date given. I received it the next day. I had to call Liberty Games three times as there was initially an issue so it was not fully functional at first. I spoke to Jake and Rob. They were both friendly and helpful. I was able to resolve the issue myself. A white strip in the top box was loose so I connected it and hey presto, I have a fully functional pinball machine!
Liberty Games provided regular email updates during the order process and were great to deal with by phone. Would highly recommend them.

Disappointing

I added 3 pictures and text to a blanket. One picture has the border colour instead of the blue that’s in the picture.
The website states dispatch is up to 10 working days. I had to email them on the 11th working day to chase and it was then dispatched. Delivery was quick though so I’ve added an extra star for that.
I expected better quality and at least the right colours.
Disappointing. ☹️

Great service from Direct Sight

Great service from Direct Sight. The high street opticians told me I needed two pairs of glasses. I bought the two pairs but was having to switch 50 times a day, it was too much. I was not aware of varifocals until a family member told me so I was very unhappy that I was not given other options. I certainly won’t be doing business with the high street again. I ordered varifocals from Direct Sight and I have to say, I’m pleased I did! It took 7 working days to dispatch, a lot quicker than what they quoted for vari’s. They fit snuggly, unlike my previous glasses that slipped off my face when I bent down. They had a great range of glasses. I like thin glasses which I was unable to get on the high street. I was told big, Deidre Barlow glasses are currently in fashion. My reply, not everyone follows the crowd! Thank you DS for your great service. I’m sure you’ll see me soon. 😊

The service is great if you order small…

The service is great if you order small parcels. Our regular delivery driver is great. If you order a big parcel it goes to another driver that can’t be bothered to drop off the parcel because it’s too far out of his way! There’s no one at Hermes you can speak to on the phone or online to chase delayed orders. They’re not updated either. No customer service which needs sorting out fast.

I ordered my vinyl and fitting online…

I ordered my vinyl and fitting online and I was given a fitting date for 4 weeks time. The day before the fitters were due to arrive the Lincoln store called to advise there were stock issues and I would have to wait a further 2 weeks. This was not acceptable as I had already removed my old carpet and most of my furniture. The gentleman I spoke to was really helpful and said they had a dark oak in stock so they could lay that. I was over the moon that I would have something on my floor. The fitters arrived and asked for £90 to fit it. I did pay them but afterwards I thought I had already paid this. I called Customer Service and I got a very kind, super helpful lady. She confirmed that I had already paid for the fitting so she arranged for the fitters to come back that day to give me my money back, which they did. The fitters were great lads and did a fab job. I don’t think the store told them that I had already paid for the fitting as it was not on my invoice.
The vinyl I got looks and fits better than the one I had originally ordered so thanks to the guy in the Lincoln store.
I would definitely buy from United Carpets again but instead of being lazy and ordering online I would go into the store to check what they have in stock.

Slower than my tortoise!

They received the device on 11.01.19. On 23.01.19 I finally received an offer which was over £50 less than the initial offer, they said they had photographic evidence well so did I as I took pics before I sent it! The next day they increased the offer so it was only £30 less than the original offer which I accepted. It then took from 24.01.19 to 31.01.19 to finally receive the payment. When I called to chase they said they were inundated with orders. In this time a friend had sent their device elsewhere and got paid within 2 days! This whole process took 2 weeks, not acceptable so I won’t be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone!
