Always honest, helpful and professional.

As a landlord who lives quite a distance from the rental property, I need an agent whom I can trust to ensure that the property is safe and well maintained. Linley & Simpson are exactly that: trustworthy, honest, helpful and professional, but also friendly and pleasant to engage with. I am very grateful to Stacey Hardy and to all the staff for their unfailing help and guidance.

Daylight robbery for SLOW charge

At DUFFIELD ROAD, DERBY - advertised as charging "up to 150 kw" but was initially only charging at 48 kw! I called their help desk who confirmed all 4 charging points were the same and should charge at up to 180 kw. She said the power would be "equally distributed" among all users. There was one other user as well as me. When that customer left, it made no difference to the charge rate. 10 mins later another customer hooked up (so still 2 of us) and the charge rate went down to 25kw. When that person left the charge rate went down to 23 kw. This is just ridiculous, and at a cost of 79p per kw for such a slow charge - daylight robbery.

The delivery person knocked at the back door and delivered the goods into the kitchen. Much better than just leaving them on the front doorstep!

Much better than expected.

My original reason for buying Mounjaro from The Family Chemist (having discussed and agreed the treatment first with my GP) was the fact that theirs was the lowest price on offer. This, for me, was a good enough reason. But I soon found out that they had far more to offer. Their initial vetting of whether the medication was suitable for me was impressively thorough; their ordering and reordering process is very easy; and they always remind me when it's time to reorder. Furthermore, I have asked for advice twice in the 3 months that I have been using it, and I have received helpful responses promptly on each occasion. Altogether a very satisfactory experience. Thank you.

Expectations WELL exceeded!

I have just had an extraordinary experience. I have found a company that really does care about its customers. I bought an INR checking machine last week (for a very good price, I must say) from WMS, but forgot to plan it so that it would be delivered whilst I was at home. I'd planned to be away for the weekend, just when it was due to be delivered. So I called them, and they were very understanding and helpful. They intercepted the order and delayed it so that it left on Monday instead. It arrived today, Tuesday, safe and sound. And the lovely lady from Customer Services had checked the delivery status and phoned me to ask if it had arrived ok. That is truly caring service, for which I am very grateful. I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you.

Quick easy and no pressure

Booking an MoT was a very easy and satisfying experience. Mostly because I never felt any pressure in cross-selling of other services. They were available if needed, but no pressure was brought to bear. I have used Formula 1 before and have found them knowledgeable and friendly. I will certainly use them again.

A seamless experience.

Aasiyah was approachable, dependable and a pleasure to deal with. During the conveyancing process she had a week's holiday but delegated the case to colleagues, who were just as dependable as she was. All in all, a seamless experience. Speedy!

An Amazon retailer used another courier to send me a parcel but after 2 weeks waiting it was declared lost in transit. The retailer then used Yodel to deliver a replacement which arrived safely within a matter of HOURS!!

What a sorry excuse for a 'delivery'…

What a sorry excuse for a 'delivery' company. Two weeks on from the original delivery date and I'm still waiting. The tracker keeps extending the delivery date daily with NO explanation. This is disgusting service, even given the current circumstances. I will not buy from retailers who use Hermes now.
UPDATE 4th Jun 2020: The supplier sent a replacement via Yodel, which arrived NEXT DAY!! Well done Yodel, thank you.

Genuine concern if things go wrong

I bought a 12v battery powered car for my twin grandsons, which they love. It's good quality and quite powerful, which pleases them and me. Unfortunately a problem developed with one of the motors, so I contacted Outdoor Toys and they were extremely helpful. They took me through a troubleshooting routine, which culminated in a swift replacement of the broken part. They treated the issue with genuine concern and a desire to help and I was very satisfied with their response. I will always return to this company for similar purchases.

What an incompetent bunch

Three weeks ago I ordered groceries online for my elderly Mum before my wife and I went away for a fortnight. Mum can't get out and depends on us to shop for her. Many of the items were missing, including her Saturday newspaper which she relies on for her weekly TV guide. I complained and received a £15 e-voucher. Yesterday I ordered goods again (click & collect this time) and, lo and behold, the exact same goods were missing again. When I walked into the store, all of the items that were "not available" were sitting proudly on the shelves, clearly available for purchase. Asda is clearly simply incompetent at processing orders and cannot be trusted to deliver in any sense of the word. No wonder over 70% of these reviews leave only 1 star. I would give zero if the system allowed it. I have also complained to them again so await their response.
