Works well!

I've only got a single virtual linux host at the moment but my experience of getting this set up has been good. Customer services are pretty good too, with quick responses and accurate information.

All in all, a good cost effective service.

Still owe me a refund!

I've had an EE SIM for ages so it made sense to try their unlimited data SIM when I needed a SIM for a new router. Unfortunately reception was incredibly poor in this area, which meant no service.

I visited the Welwyn Garden City store to take advantage of the cooling down period. They couldn't help me but let me use their phone to call the call centre. Call centre said they'd cancel the new SIM.

A few weeks notice I saw I'd been charged for the new SIM. After 5 or 6 calls and, each time a promise to return my money, I still don't have my refund.

So I have cancelled my original SIM and my direct debit. They only owe me approx £25 so it's not a lot of money - but it's the principle of taking a payment they should not have taken and then being incapable of refunding it. I obviously won't buy anything else from EE.

It's disappointing to read about the experience you've had when cancelling the SIM within the cooling off period. This really isn't the norm and it would be great to get this looked into further.

Excellent service.

I had to have two screens replaced during the last two years. Both were done by Autoglass and on both occasions the fitters were excellent. Screens were available within 2 or 3 days, fitters arrived on time, the cars were protected from damage and the quality of work was excellent.

Excellent service

Booking was quick and easy, and I received progress e-mails informing me about the status of the windscreen. The installer was a great guy - very friendly and chatty. Installation was quick and efficient, and the installer was very careful to protect my car against incidental damage during the screen installation.

Very possibly the most uncomfortable…

Very possibly the most uncomfortable awful flights I have experienced. This was my first time using Ryanair - and I will have to be absolutely desperate before using them again. Cramped is an understatement - on the return flight, cabin crew who think it's OK to call customers 'mate' and 'boy' (lack of respect!) and toilets locked for almost the entire flight. Fasten Seatbelts light on for almost the entire flight meaning I could not stand up for two minutes to stretch my legs. I was literally (in the proper sense of the word) limping from cramp when I left the plane at Luton,

Usual thing about being given a really…

Usual thing about being given a really low attractive quote for switching, and then the reality is that the direct debited amount is much higher. Basically no better than British Gas that I moved from. I would look at switching again but I don't suppose I would save much. Overall, disappointed.
(For the record, I have been with Eon for a year, so this is nothing to do with current events in March 2022).

Usually pretty good service

Usually pretty good service. Parts are delivered on schedule and advice is usually easily obtained.

Good range of products for older British cars - I rely on Rimmers and a select few other companies for keeping my projects on the road.

They'd get a 5* review if they hadn't ignored my recent request for information - so I ended up going elsewhere. I think the question was awkward because I was challenging the price. Their chatbot kept telling me I was connected to an agent (real person) - but that person subsequently disappeared. I left contact details and they did not follow up with me.

Pretty good experience buying a new TV…

Pretty good experience buying a new TV from Currys in Cambridge. Staff reasonably knowledgable although they gave me some duff info', albeit when I questioned further they corrected.

I ordered the TV on the 17th Oct and I was told I would be given the installation date by the end of the next week. Good to their word I was contacted during the following week and the actual delivery on the agreed date was drama-free, as it should be.

Historically, apart from a very poor experience at their Bedford store I have found Currys to be better than most big retailers and will happily revisit.

Excellent product fitted by experts. Abysmal support from head office.

Excellent product fitted by experts. However this only applies to the four installers - 5 star service from those chaps.

The rest of the company is a badly organised shambles who, whilst selling a premium product at a premium price, could not organise the proverbial heavy drinking session in a beer production facility.

From signing on the dotted line to final installation was 210 days! During this time the survey was messed up on several occasions which, even when they finally turned up to install the car port, meant it was left incomplete for six weeks or so! Constant delays and postponements, poor communications, my calls not returned etc....

I was left with no patio canopy all summer because I had taken the old one down before they phoned me (two days before the first booked installation date) and told me they could only do half the job - so I said no! This was because no-one had come out to survey my garage again, despite the salesman calling me a month previously and booking a surveyor visit, then later telling me it was no longer necessary!

I like the car port and patio canopy - both have been very well installed and seem like they will last a very long time. Which is great because I dread having to ever have anything to do with them should I need to make a warranty claim.

My recommendation is go elsewhere if you can. I specifically wanted their cantilever (no posts) canopy so put up with their abysmal service - but I cannot recommend them.

And just to cap it all - they were chasing me for money less than 24 hrs after the installation was finally completed!

Generally good but need to make policy cancellation easier.

Generally good. Get a little expensive for older products and seemingly make it deliberately difficult to cancel a policy renewal. You can't do this simply via the website and they hide the web form and e-mail addresses. They want you to telephone when (if they eventually answer the phone) they will no doubt try to dissuade you.
If they were more open and fairer on policy cancellations the I would give 4* .

Insurance team don't answer the phone…

Insurance team don't answer the phone and can't talk to the breakdown people. Breakdown people can't talk to the Insurance team. So - when I wanted to move my breakdown cover from a separate policy to the insurance policy I was bounced backwards and forwards.

A very frustrating customer experience and an ultimately unresolved issue due to the difficulty of actually getting to talk to anyone.

I have been a RAC member for 35 years - it is definitely time for a change as customer loyalty doesn't mean good service.

9 days to deliver the parts I ordered.

9 days to deliver the parts I ordered.
I tried telephoning twice to find out where my parts were, but was stuck in a queue on both occasions and ended up abandoning the calls as neither was answered.
I tried the online chat twice as well - 40 people ahead of me on both occasions and the application timed out so I never reached the front of the queue.
I made two e-mail complaints - both were ignored.
Abysmal service - I'll only ever use EuroCarParts again if I am desperate and can't get the parts anywhere else.
