Great service fast response to order. Ordered a part for my rover from Australia and it turned up very quickly.

Sorry but their comms just came across as we dont care, it's with the courier so what can we do. They chose UPS, so they need to get on it............ massive shame as they were the best.

I ordered a side view mirror for a Triumph Spitfire. Ordering online was easy, it arrived quickly though a part was defective on it. One quick call to their person on their customer service line (thank you Kieran) and a new mirror was sent out, which was good. Thank you for your great service!
Had most of the parts I needed. One arrived damaged, and the rest were just slow to arrive, annoying considering the cost of postage. Most miffed by my back order part being dispatched just as it was discounted, but charged the higher price.
Terrible service and I won't use them again.
Ordered brake parts for a Defender to give myself two weeks before an MoT.
Half the parts turned up, the other half on back order. Was told I would get them the following week.
Spoke to them the following week, parts are in but the warehouse is too busy to sort the delivery. Ridiculous and the parts turned up 2 weeks after the first half. Too late and no interest in helping.
I ordered a brake caliper carrier for a Land Rover Disovery. There website does not have the facility that allows you to enter your registration number, so I had to enter the manufacturer, model, year etc. I paid for next day delivery only to receive the wrong part when it arrived. Apparently it was for the 2.7L Diesel and not the 3.0L diesel. I rang and spoke to the, only to be met with lethargy and a complete reluctance to be helpful. I am now using a different supplier and will think long and hard before using Rimmer Bros again.
This review is most important if you live in the USA.
After ordering 4 wire wheels with an additional 258 UKP for shipping by DHL, i then got a bill for custom duties from DHL FOR $681.09. The UK/US government has agreed a 10% tariff so how does my tariff /duty come to close on 50% of the order value.
I was not aware of the duty to be paid until i got my invoice and yes there in the very small print was mention of duty to be paid.
I decided to return the wheels before taking delivery but Rimmer was then going to charge me duty on the returned items, so i get screwed either way.
If you live in the USA, DO NOT order anything from Rimmer.
This meant to be more a comment about RB and the negative reviews. Hey reviewers - thanks so much for the reviews. I was prepared to make a $1200.00 purchase but after reading some of the reviews, homie ain't there. I am not going to put myself through that agony. Thank-you.

I am based in Portugal and since Brexit have experienced delays in receiving goods from outside the EU. Prior to ordering I contacted Rimmer Bros, explained the situation and was assured that they offer an efficient and prompt service for this situation. I placed my order and paid. On 18th March I received a message saying py order had been sent. To this day (2rd June) I have not received anything. I have repeatedly contacted Rimmer Bros without satisfaction. In May I asked to cancel the order and receive a refund, I was told this was not possible. Any business with public interface relies heavily on it's staff, I believe Rimmer Bros should be very comcerned at this time. I have since ordered the same part from Betaset in France and received it in three days.

Shipped four wheels to US. A week after delayed delivery I got an invoice from freight carrier for 945 USD for tariff charges for delivering Chinese sourced wheels, effectively doubling the cost of wheels
There was, and is, no mention of country of origin in Rimmers description. Had I known this, I would have reevaluated purchase. Not happy at all.

I have used Rimmer Brothers for parts for a variety of cars for over 30 years - they have a good range and although not always the cheapest, the parts supplied have always been in good condition and carefully labelled. The delivery is speedy and communication is excellent. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Always been impressed with Rimmer Bros. Parts dept seem polite and knowledgeable for fairly recent Land Rover Parts. Bits arrive in good time (UK) and at reasonable cost.

Ordered the part I wanted from a photo on website which was the same as the part I was replacing. Never put my car details in as it’s modified so parts not always standard, Paid for the fastest delivery as need it for this weekend and when it arrived they had sent a different version of the part. I ordered a square flange with no spacer and they sent me a round flange with fixed spacer. Yes it may be technically the same part but it was not the part in the picture and not the part I wanted. Customer service useless all I got back was it will fit. if I wanted the round version I could have got it far cheaper elsewhere. Will never use again and will not recommend

I purchased a set of pistons for my 69 MGB on a Tues, the price was great and they arrived in Vancouver BC Canada on the Friday.

On 16th January 2025 I purchased an updated 3/4 anti roll bar for my MGB roadster along with new poly bushes. However I omitted to order the fitting brackets and the appropriate end clamps and enquired as to which type of clamp was required and It was confirmed that it was part number AHH6546K. This duly arrived and was found to be incorrect and too small. After a deal of emailing I received a reply which I found to be rather unhelpful and somewhat disingenuous stating that “we advise the kit is correct for 9/16” Ø roll bars, not necessarily for the ¾” Ø. This supplied kit would have to be modified to fit the ¾” bar as the correct part Pt. No. AHH7928 is no longer available.” This was after I clearly stated I had just purchased the 3/4 bar! and had requested advice. I have now undergone the excessively vague and protracted returning of the wrongly advised parts at cost to myself and await the refund. No mention of apology or offer to pay for postage except one for replying to an earlier email which was a reply to a person I have never heard of! Given this was a part of several traced emails it leaves one with very little confidence in the customer care of this business and indeed it has now cemented my intention to never use Rimmer brothers again! Which is rather ironic since my first negative experience with them was reviewed by myself on trustpilot but rather stupidly I chose to try them again! How wrong can you be? The long one star rating shouldn’t take Sherlock long to figure out!
Incidentally, the correct clamp for a 3/4 bar IS available and I have just taken delivery of them from a business who know what they are talking about and who treat their customers with courtesy and efficiency!
The part that I ordered would take four weeks for delivery, OK. After this time had passed and no part I asked for an up-date only to be told that they had cancelled the order but forgot to tell me. This will be my last dealing with Rimmer Bros.
If I could I would put 0 stars.
I ordered 8 flywheel bolts and 8 crank seal bolts and paid for special delivery required to put an engine back in. The delivery was quick however there were only 7 of each bolts in the delivery as they didn’t have enough in stock - this was advised only on the delivery note.
Surely Rimmer Bros would call and explain they weren’t available, but they didn’t, very inconvenient when you have an engine out of a vehicle! And customer service not interested and don’t offer any help or a delivery cost refund.

Ordered 2 Trunnion bolts. After nearly 4 weeks, still no bolts. Paid for airmail and after being told it'll take 2 to 3 weeks . Never happened. Now i am being told that airmail from UK takes up to 50 days.
No one else has those bolts in UK. So they must be lying about having them.
Very deceitful people. Web order number is : 1189261

Very disappointed with Rimmer Bros.
I ordered 4 caliper mounting bolts. Total value including vat and shipping - £76.
A week later they have not been dispatched.
Apparently, they were not in stock. Their website states they are in stock and the confirmation email stated they were in stock.
I have cancelled the order. I expect the refund will take longer to process, we’ll see.
I stopped using Rimmer Bros. some years ago when I found the quality of their products were not up to standard. I thought I'd give them another chance recently & ordered a part; received an email the next working day telling me it had been shipped & the delivery company would sent me a link to track it's progress. Then nothing. I rang Rimmers 6 days after placing the order & was told "sorry about that; we've been having trouble with our tracking". Spookily, within hours I got an email from Amazon, telling me they had the part and would deliver it the next day. Would that have happened if I hadn't rung?... I can't comment on the quality of the part, because I haven't got it. Even if it's up to scratch when it arrives, I won't be going back to Rimmers in a hurry when there are better companies out there.
