ActiFry Genius FZ773840

I bought an ActiFry Genius FZ773840 Health Air Fryer, that has an anti spill ring which is not fit for purpose, if you want to clean it you have to remove it by releasing two clips. These clips are so flimsy that I defy anyone to have the fryer for any length of time without breaking one or both of them, which has now happened. I have contacted the spares department and the cost of the part is £6.90 but delivery is £9, a total rip-off.

ITVX useless

I have tried to sign in on to ITVX on my TV with my TV remote, I spend a lot of time entering my user name and password which is not accepted, so I try again, just in case I made a mistake, same result. I go on my PC and the details are accepted. What a useless system.

Daily Mail nothing to do with the Uk

Stories on the Daily Mail website mostly have nothing to do with the UK and seem to be more about the USA. This has been happening for a while, not just on one day. The DM also remove comments that don't agree with their philosophy

Rochester Building and Damp

I was enquiring about having a damp problem sorted and a very helpful gentleman said to have this particular work done to the best possible conclusion would be very expensive but advised me what I could do myself that would be adequate. So I don't know what their work is like but I would trust them.

Hive great when it's working

When it's working, it's great but if the power goes off, it's a nightmare to reconnect. The problem is any remedial action needs you to wait to find if your action worked. After a few attempts, I had given up but eventually the hub connected. This is so frustrating.

I have tried to list an item and it won't let me change the condition it just says new whether I use a similar item or don't use the matching item as a starter. I never used to have a problem. Also Ebay is expensive 12.8 per cent fees

Unacceptable wait time on phone

Waited to speak to someone for over an hour but it won't happen again I was going to transfer an ISA into another Virgin account but now I will move it somewhere else. I don't know how many people are in this supposed team they keep talking about. It would be good if they gave you an approximate wait time.

Hive Active Light not working

Hive bulb not working. It should be called the Hive Inactive Light. Tried the normal turn off the router and the hub and refreshing, didn't work. Tried to reset the light but opening the relevant Hive website page all I get is a error message

The Crown, Rochester

I went with a few friends to The Crown. The food and service were good and we ordered two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc which were the only Sauvignon Blanc on the wine list priced at £18.50 a bottle but when it came to paying the bill we were charged £50 for the two bottles of Sauvignon Blanc. On querying the bill we were told that we had not been specific and they didn't have the one on the wine list so had given us the more expensive bottles which were £25 a bottle but they didn't tell us. In that event they could have charged us any amount for the most expensive bottle going. We were disgusted and won't be going there again.

No Refund…

I ordered a piece of furniture and decided the same day that it was unsuitable. I phoned back the same day to cancel the order and requested my deposit back as is my right. I am now on my fourth call 2 weeks later it has already rung off once and no sign of the deposit returning.

Longacres very patient

I caused a few problems but Longacres were very patient and I got my order delivered efficiently and was able to track the delivery van with a Yodel Tracker and was informed of what stage my delivery was at from arrival at the depot to my door.

Automated phone system

Brilliant unless you have a problem and want to speak to someone. You have to go through the automated phone system and at the end of numerous questions you are referred to a website and cut off.

Powershop appalling customer service

I know covid has caused problems but they can't use that as an excuse for their appalling customer service. I was 18th in the queue. If this is not bad enough, I waited for 1 hour 45 minutes to get an answer. I was the next person in the queue for 15 minutes, how can that be if they have a reasonable amount of staff. I spoke to a very nice lady who went to sort out my query after a few minutes the line went dead. I was thinking about changing supplier but this has decided me.

Great Service

On phoning H&H to check that what I was ordering for a window mechanism was correct I was spoken to by a very helpful lady, who informed me that I didn't need all that I was ordering and therefore saved me money. She ran me through the specifications needed for the lock which I received and fitted, the window is fine now.

I was completely satisfied with the cake I bought from Bakerdays for my wife's 70th Birthday. Website was easy to use and the cake arrived on the day specified. It looked and tasted delicious. When the cake was introduced to our small gathering my wife was very happy and unsolicited compliments of the cake were forthcoming from our socially distanced friends.

Delivery

It would have been nice to select a delivery date from the outset without payment but was contacted by the delivery company to arrange a date after the order had been processed. Whether this is a regular option I don't know but overall I was pleased with the service and would recommend this company.
