I’ve been using H&Lfor 30 years
I’ve been using H&L Motors for around 30 years to look after my cars, and I wouldn’t use anyone else. They have never let me down, are always courteous and have fair prices. I highly recommend them.

Review of Watermark.ws
I have been using Watermark.ws for years now and am very happy with it. I have not been submitting large numbers of photos, so I have been able to use the programme free of charge, which is a huge bonus. The site is easy to use, and applying watermarks is straightforward. Thanks, Watermark.ms, for providing this service for photographers.
Review of Waterways Holidays
Waterways were brilliant to deal with. My initial email enquiry was answered by the next day, and all emails thereafter. All my requests were taken into account, and a change of date and time was accommodated. Thanks Waterways, and especially Trudi who was the one who I was dealing with.
Review of Moonpig.com
Delivery was quicker than expected. What I really like about MoonPig is that when I am away, I can still get a birthday/anniversary/condolence card posted directly to the person - along with a gift if I want to add one. Much better than an e-card. Thank you!

Review of Parcel2Go
This website was infuriating to use. It wouldn't let me enter my address manually and I had to keep going back and forth until eventually I managed it. I then had to force quit my Safari browser because a small blank window appeared on top of the address panel and I couldn't enter details for the next parcel, and I couldn't close it. I'm going to use a different parcel search next time. PS: I foolishly gave Parcel2Go a second chance and faced similar problems. The site simply WOULD NOT recognise my own home address, even though it is SAVED on its own website, and on the "Select address" list it still wouldn't recognise my address. Parcel2Go needs to sort out its website. I gave up and am going to Royal Mail direct.

Review of WHSmith
I was kept informed regularly about date of delivery and delays for additional items that had to be ordered. Thanks for a very good home delivery service.

Review of Remitly
I started to use Remitly after Sendwave stopped working properly (but I didn't lose any money). Then I tried another one - WorldRemit - but with no explanation, they said I'd broken the "rules" and closed my account. I have used Remitly about four times recently and so far, I haven't had any problems. This is only to send sums of between £100-400. It is a great way to send money to a Kenyan MPESA account, and a few days ago I tried sending directly to my bank account and it was there within an hour or so. So far, so good.
Review of Photofun Photobooth
When I first created a Clikpic website about 8 years ago, I was happy with how it worked. I managed to create a reasonable-looking photography website and subscribed for 3 years. I then renewed the 3 years, twice. In the past, if I needed support, someone always came back to me and fixed the problem. However, when I recently checked my website, it wasn't functioning how it used to. The menu bar disappears as soon as you have clicked on one of the items and you can't get it back. It is, effectively, a useless website. Starting on 8th February, on the Clikpic website "Help" section, I have raised 5 "help" tickets, but haven't had a single response. I then emailed the "support" email address three times, still no response. So now I have a useless/embarrassing website with an organisation that offers zero support. DO NOT use Clikpic if you are thinking of setting up a website. They will take your money and not provide any support whatsoever. UPDATE: I just checked all my Clikpic data and my renewal payment of £224.45 to Clikpic came back with this statement: "The transaction has been denied. Payment refused by the financial institution." It seems therefore that Clikpic have gone into receivership.
Review of Luminar Neo
I recently had a problem with Luminar 4 which wouldn't open on my MacBook Pro. No matter what I tried, it wouldn't work. The Skylum Software support responded to my emails almost by return, tried to help resolve the issue, and when it was clear it wasn't going to be resolved, they offered me an alternative replacement: Luminar A1, or Luminar Neo. I was given trial periods for both programmes, and eventually opted for the Neo. I was very happy with how my problem was dealt with by Skylum and the speed of their responses. The Luminar programmes are good with their rather gimmicky alterations and enhancements, but lack the sophistication of Photoshop. For example, you can't do simple things like write text onto a photo - something that even elementary an programme like Preview can do. I hope they will add such things in the future.
Review of Monsoon
Delivery was all great but the blouse I received was unfortunately too big - I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 as the colours of the blouse were less vibrant than in the online image, so a bit misleading. Return was very simple to deal with & free, which is a big bonus.
Review of Expedia
I purchased a return ticket London to Mombasa on 1st October 2021. I have used Expedia before so felt comfortable doing this. Then due to Covid my return flight in June 2021 was rescheduled twice and the third time I was offered cancellation & a refund. I said I’d take the refund. After several months of trying I still don’t have my refund. Expedia say Kenya Airways have paid the £210.30 but Kenya Airways say it is up to Expedia to refund me as I bought my ticket through them. I’ve told them both that the credit card I used to buy the ticket has expired & they cannot refund to it anyway & to please refund to my bank account. Expedia continue to say I have to contact KQ for the refund. I am getting nowhere and am now trying via Resolver to resolve this issue. I am fed up with the repetitive correspondence and no one wanting to give me a refund. I won’t be using Expedia again.
Review of CityDoc
My husband and I were challenged at Paris airport about having only a Day 2 test booked for UK because UK didn't recognise the AstroZeneca vaccinations that we had done in Kenya. We were ordered to book a second Covid test if we wanted to get on the flight. I was able to book a Day 8 only test (sometimes only sold as a Day 2 & Day 8 package) through CityDoc in a few minutes using my iPhone, but the cost was £70 per person. When I arrived in London, I checked with immigration and they said I didn't need to have the Day 8 test as the AZ in Kenya was indeed recognised. I contacted CityDoc immediately and spoke to Alex who was very understanding and agreed to refund me the money as the Day 8 kits hadn't yet been despatched. They also do a package for Day 2 & Day 8 if that is what you need at a reduced price.
Review of Audible
Like others who subscribe, I am surprised this only entitles you to one book per month. It must be the only library in the world that allows members one book per month! On the app I find it frustrating that there is no Search facility as there is on kindle books. Quite often I would like to return to a section but there is no way to find it. When it comes to contacting Audible, the Contact Us link leads nowhere ....!!! It keeps repeating the same loop back to the Contact Us link but doesn’t actually let you contact them at all!! Quality of the books is good though.

Review of Ultrasound Direct
3 Stars for Facility, 5 stars for Staff, I have only given 3 stars because although I said that I had mobility issues, the booking people didn't tell me that the Wimbledon scanning clinic had a very long flight of stairs. I would give the Staff 5 stars though because they were all very kind and helpful, and the scan was a comfortable experience.
Review of Funky Pigeon
I have used funky pigeon a few times, and on this occasion was for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday in UK. The card was great, and much bigger and expected - she showed it to me on a Skype call to my home in Kenya. It is a great service for this of us who live a long way from UK with unreliable postal services. The little gifts on offer are fun too. Thank you!
