Avoid!

Avoid at all costs! Happy to take your money but refuse any amends whatsoever even when within their power to do so, as it stands some sympathy flowers are due to arrive at a random persons address. Not impressed at all.

We are sorry to hear of your frustration in not being able to change the details on your order. When you placed your order it went straight to the supplier and into their delivery system. The details of your order are printed as soon as they arrive and go out to the area where the orders are made up. Due to the high volumes of orders the suppliers handle, they are unable to extract an order. We did try to circumvent this system for you but we were unsuccessful.

This information is placed on our website before ordering, along with another notification on the ordering page itself to advise customers to ensure all details are correct as we cannot amend after the order is placed.

Apologies for your disappointment.

The fire surround and stove arrived right on schedule despite lockdown, easy to assemble and great build quality, is the centerpiece of the lounge. Highly recommended.

Desperately wanted to give no stars!

Desperately wanted to give no stars! Bunch of crooks, they were so determined to deliver an integrated fridge freezer without installation, refused to reply to Messenger conversations once they knew we wanted to cancel, called for a whole week and no one picking up the phone. If Currys PC World don't survive this period it won't be because of the COVID-19 economic downturn, it will be because of their appalling customer service, should be reported to Trading Standards.
Update 5/4/20 - so Currys have responded on Trustpilot to tell me to contact them if I still need help, what a joke when they know you can't get through on the phone! The fridge freezer was delivered 4 days ago and left outside the house as the poor delivery guy had zero PPE, my husband who has a bad back had to manoeuvre it into the house and had to spend 2 hours figuring out how to install it himself! Still waiting for installation and recycling refund of £110. Currys you're not the only retailer struggling due to COVID-19, you might want to stop selling so you can catch up with orders that need fulfilling. Just not impressed.

So glad I didn't read the reviews beforehand...…

So glad I didn't read the reviews before ordering, boots arrived 3 days after placing my order and fit beautifully, I received confirmation email when order placed and at the point of despatch complete with tracking number, followed by an email from Hermes to say what time it would be delivered.

No words really, never experienced anything like it

Sorry for the length of review but please read to save yourself stress....Started off well with lots of contact from the salesperson, on arrival I was left to wonder around the car lot until I saw a car that grabbed my attention but not the one I had told them over the phone I wanted to look at. After 30 mins in the cold I went back to the showroom to tell the salesperson I couldn't find the vehicle I came to see, which turned out to be at their smaller lot over the road. He opened the car so I could take a look and asked me if I wanted to proceed, no offer of test drive, which I had to ask for. He didn't check to see if I had a licence, which I commented on, he then sat in the back seat on his mobile phone whilst I took the car on the motorway, thankfully my car-savvy son was with me so I could make an informed decision. I paid my deposit (which I will add was refunded promptly after sale completed) then the fun began. I was pushed to go with their finance company Oodle although I still to receive a formal written quotation from Cartime despite asking, it took 5 days for a verbal quote to be provided during which time the finance company i had already chosen were proceeding smoothly with my application, money at the ready. The salesperson ignored their emails and refused their calls then after 18 calls from myself sent an invoice with incorrect bank details so the finance company paid into the wrong account! This fiasco took 11 days from deposit to collection, filled with fob offs, excuses and rude receptionists. Picked up the car, after being handed the keys the salesperson walked off with his colleague and left me to figure out the car by myself, no info on where the filling station was, nothing. Nice cars but AVOID AT ALL COST and don't touch their warranty offer. Customer care is non-existent.

Aldwark Manor - avoid like the plague, stood on a shard of broken glass in their spa shower and the insurance company deny liability, not what I would expect from a so-called reputable hotel chain.

Attended to sort out tree bees

Attended to sort out tree bees, engineer was polite, conscientious and stayed until he satisfied himself he had done the best job he could...seemed to work for a couple of days, £100 later, bees now back with a vengeance, disappointed as now "customer service" cannot even confirm whether I will have to pay again even though the engineer said I wouldn't. And please tell your customer service agents that it's extremely rude to put the phone down on customers before you have even said goodbye to them and wrapped up the call properly. Not impressed.... Review updated 30.5.17 as 4 days on still not received a call back.

Only gave 1 star as impossible to give no stars, make cancellation as difficult as possible, promised to refund cancellation fee if I paid it and have been ignoring me ever since, not recommended.

Uncontactable and unscrupulous

Steer clear, make it difficult to cancel! Promise phone calls and demand £35 admin fee to cancel, also steer clear of their finance partners Premium Credit who slap default notices and charges even if you are not in debt! Can't stress it enough, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!
