don't book through here!

booked through the website for UPS home pickup. Pickup didn't ring the doorbell and UPS have no trace of my parcel. Disappointing to say the least. I went to a UPS drop off point, and luckily there was a human who told me that I also needed the export declaration forms, 3 copies,which I never received from this portal.
That said, I went onto the chatbot and got a very helpful guy who sent me the missing documents and I took the parcel back to the drop off and I think it's on its way. Fingers crossed.

Not good for sellers; ok for buyers

Vinted is ok as long as nothing goes wrong. The seller bears all the risk of an item arriving smashed because the courier dropped it. As a seller you don't chose the courier and you can't buy insurance (unlike the buyer who must buy insurance) so if an item is damaged in transit, Vinted argues that you didn't pack it correctly - even if you did. No matter how well you wrapped it, if it breaks, you end up with nothing. So DON'T SELL ANYTHING THAT COULD GET DAMAGED IN TRANSIT.

Faultless service

Regardless of the delayed arrival, the difficulty of getting to the meeting place (Luton is a nightmare at the best of times) and general chaos, our driver was there waiting for us, and we had regular updates by phone so that that, at least, wasn't stressful. All at no extra cost. Will definitely be using the service again.

Really happy with the service

Really happy with the service. The engineer turned up on time (good communications), diagnosed the problem very quickly, gave me a very prompt and accurate estimate of the replacement part costs, and then came back and did the job. Really trustworthy service, done promptly and politely. Couldn't be better!

When it's good it's good, but...

When it's good, it's excellent. However, when they give you an estimated dellivery time, you cannot rely on it. In London the delivery is quick, whereas in Bournemouth my parcel arrived outside of the expected timescale, so I had left by the time it came. Overall it's an easy system, with good alerts and easy customer interface, but if you miss your date, you don't have much leaway: the parcels get sent back to sender much quicker than they get delivered!

I was a bit scared, but...

Until i joined Vinted I was always a bit scared to use this system, but it's really easy! You get an alert and a code, and you put in your phone number at the machine, then follow the instructions. Couldn'#t be simpler.

Useless to me

My meters were installed (I think) but the display that allows me to see the usage isn't connected. The engineer promised I would receive a code but I didn't, and I phoned SMS who promised to contact me and they haven't. Very bad end to end service.

Good and bad

The clinic is great (although there was no building receptionist downstairs when I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed), the staff are considerate, the equipment looks to be top notch.

Sending results to the consultant needs a bit of attention - the results are sent by post (isn't there a digital transfer? are the files too big?) without checking where best to send them. Most consultants work from different clinics, so whilst Vista may put something in the post there is no guarantee that they are sending to the best place.

On further replies from the clinic to my review, I was sent one week later access to the digital portal from where I can download, share, etc the images. Not sure why I wasn't offered this in the first place but I'm hoping this feedback will help customers. Knowledge is good!

The objective of private scans it to get results asap. This clinic didn't meet my objective even though in their view they met their target.

We send the results by email and only by post when no email is provided. In this case, there was no email on the request form. We also provide access to our Patient Image Portal, allowing you to view, share and download your images on your laptop, tablet or mobile. This allows you to instantly share your images with a medical professional.

5 stars if it didn't take 15 weeks...

I would give 5 stars if it didn't take up to 15 weeks to get my sofa. I found exactly what I wanted and the sale process was very good. The Salesman was efficient, polite and friendly. There were no outrageous hidden "extras", unlike the shop around the corner.
Great choice of sofas and you're bound to find one whatever your taste.

Don't panic buy

The service I got was good, but I do feel I was oversold a package at a time when I was upset and vulnerable. I was lead to believe that my house was rat infested, and it turned out that a lot of the evidence was old evidence. True, we caught 2 rats, but for the thousands I paid I can't help thinking that I've been conned.
Apart from that, my rat man is very polite, very thorough and I have no complaints.

I've had nothing but good experience…

I've had nothing but good experience with Figleaves. I've been a customer for around (possibly over) 10 years - ever since they started in a small North London Office. Their service is impeccable, their returns policy/process is easy and generous. Best of all, their products are great. Highly recommend.

Reliable, great value, great service

I always use Cicar because it's a local business rather than a multinational. I've used them for at least 15 years and have always found them to be very helpful with my complicated bookings (pick up here, deliver there, in 24 hours, etc). Their cars are well maintained, always clean, and if for some reason they don't have the one you booked you will get a better one at the lower price.

I love the fact that the price you pay is the price you pay - no added extras at the end of the trip, and no additional options (like insurance excess etc) that other companies sting you with at the point of collection. Because there is no excess on damages, you don't have to examine the car for every fault when you collect it (often in the dark, after a long flight).

My one quibble is that they don't fill the tank on delivery, so you have to guess how much you'll use so as not to "give" them petrol at the end.
