Bought a Dell XPS 15 for £2000 and 23 days after warranty ran out they sent me an urgent bios upgrade. I upgraded and the laptop stopped working immediately. Phoned their foreign based call centre and they will not help and want to charge me for support even though it was clearly caused by their software update. Looked on forums and shockingly the update has wrecked lots of other people's laptops too. Very disappointed and can't believe Dell treats it's customers (ex) in this way. What a con. I would not recommend Dell to anyone. They are a disgraceful company

very poor service

very poor service by the admins as i was promised an engineer between 12 and 6pm so when no one had come by 5pm i phoned to see when someone was coming.i was told that the engineer had been delayed and will not be turning up. i was very upset that i was not told this and had to chase them up to find out, wasting my whole day waiting. i asked to speak to the manager and instead of managing the situation, Luke was very rude and ubrupt and only made the situation worse by assuming that i had nothing else to do in my life and i would be happy taking a day off another day hoping for someone to turn up. as i was desperate to get this job done i took monday off. An engineer called wayne did arrive monday and i was very happy with the service he provided. he was very professional and helpful completing the job to a satisfactory standard. the two stars are all for him and the disgusting way i was treated by luke and the no show on the first appointment is why the other three stars have been deducted. 22/5/18 just an update. aerial force got my review removed from here because i was critical about their service and they denied i was a customer. luckily i had receipts and had to go through the hassle of proving them wrong. this is not very ethical and instead of contacting me to resolve my issues they tried to silence me. for this reason i have removed another star and would like to warn others that this company would do anything including lying to cover themselves. absolutely disgusting

Review of Virgin Media

the longer you stay with virgin media

the longer you stay with virgin media, the more you get charged. absolutely no reward for being loyal. new customers get all the offers to get lured in and then the price hikes begin. even though the internet speeds are insane, the service goes down regularly without warning and i have long given up on phoning the useless customer services. as for their £50 to recomend a new customer, i'm still waiting but am confident it will never come through. no ethics just want to rip you off at every opportunity. At least most of the other companies on here monitor and try to rectify their shortcomings by replying to these complaints, not virgin they really dont give a shi*t. A company that punishes loyalty deserves to go down

excellent products at very good prices but you lose stars for lack of items being in stock, and when you have special offers its almost certain that item will not be available and cannot be ordered
Sorry another star removed as i bought some screenwash from slough branch and later on went itno tesco and found the exact same product for half the price. screwfix would not do a price match because their excuse was we dont price match products on special offer. how silly

Review of Euro Car Parts

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Dont get fooled into assuming euro car …

Dont get fooled into assuming euro car parts are the cheapest and they give lots of discount. i was looking for some prestone max visibility screen wash and euro car parts price was £19.99 for 4 litres and with a whopping 33% discount went down to £13.49. decided to do a quick search to find out how much others were selling it for and was shocked to find the exact same product in screwfix for £4.99 and thats their normal price with no big gimmicky discount applied. on my weekly shopping trip to tesco today (6/02/18) sprung up another pleasant surprise, same item on special offer for £2.50!!!! you can fool some people sometimes but you cant fool everyone all the time. Euro car parts are your discounts genuine or are you just artificially inflating the prices up to a ridiculous amount and making out there's massive discounts?

I paid for a tomtom with lifetime map updates only to be told now its not lifetime but whenever tomtom decides to stop them. what a disgrace this company is. Feel ripped off by these theives who have the worst ethics and customer services imaginable. ive got two tomtoms one for my car and the other is a van specific one and i spent well over £500 for. they are going straight in the bin as luckily Google Maps on my phone does a much better job and we get free map upgrades and if you fear there may not be interenet in some areas you have the option of downloading off line maps.

i kitted out my kitchen with stailnless steel appliances from lots of different manufacturers and was shocked to find my hitachi mse 23 microwave started to rust. all the other manufacturers used real stainless hence no rust. tried to call hitachi offices in maidenhead and was fobbed off and told to go to the retailer i bought it from. i cant do that because comet have shut down plus they didnt manufacture it!. very poor product followed by some of the craziest comments from their customer care dept equals stay away from these con artists as they dont want to know if you have any problems. stick to panasonic or kenwood as they care for their customers

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service, not what you would expect from a company like Dell. Screws started to fall out of my 2 month old xps15 so with my premier warranty a technician was booked to come to my house to repair. I took a day off and when no one turned up at 4pm I phoned them and was told the parts were unavailable. They didn't inform me and told me the engineer 'might' come tomorrow. Indian based customer service don't have a clue, absolute joke

LG V20 is a very impressive phone that is very underestimated due to lack of marketing and because it hasnt been officially released in the UK. this is the only reason i didnt give 5 stars. killer features include quad dac sound, removable battery, sd card storage, amazing camera and a military grade impact resistance. dont really know what customer service is like as phone hasn't skipped a beat. very happy with it

Review of Samsung UK

ive had samsung phones since note2

ive had samsung phones since note2, then i had s5 and it all started to go wrong from the s7 edge. i bought 4 samsung s7 edges out of which three failed within the first year. two of them got pink line running down the screen and one of them had the screen pack up completely. a search on forums will reveal this was a common problem. this year i bought s8 as it was such a good looking phone. within a few weeks i dropped it from about 2 foot high onto semi hard laminate floor. it had an original samsung silicone case and the screen smashed. after further investigation i came to realise the s8 is the most fragile phone on the market. that was the last straw especially with one of the worst customer service you can imagine. never again will i let myself get ripped off by their poor quality crap. stick with Apple. their phones may not have as many features or look as good but they are much better quality and their customer service is the best ive ever come accross

no name on delivered items

i'm a landlord for five houses in multiple occupation so have up to 12 people living at one address. the biggest problem i face from amazon deliveries is they just put the address on the parcel with no name. for a company that does this business everyday that is the most ridiculous thing ever. what happens when you dont put a name on it is the first person to see the parcel picks it up and thinks its for them resulting in the package not going to the right person. i cant believe that anyone could be so stupid as to send parcels with no name. if i am first to pick the parcel, i have to knock each person up to ask who ordered it. thats a mission that could take me days to track the right person. from now on anything delivered to any of my addresses with no name will be returned. amazon really need to get their finger on the pulse and wake up. what the hell are you guys thinking?

item not received because ebay tracking policy is useless

i purchased a car air filter for £65 and the seller accidently put 228 instead of 338 for my address. item got delivered to wrong address so when i eventually started item not received case ebay ruled against me because item was delivered to 'my postcode'. i phoned ebay that the item was not delivered to my address and they explained that they cant verify from tracking info the exact address and are happy that the item was delivered to a postcode rather than house number and the decision against me will stand. the seller admitted he put the wrong address on the phone and wanted me to look for it. when i went to the address the guy denied ever receiving it. i think this is totally unacceptable every tracked delivery should state the exact address the item was delivered to. i have had around one thousand 100% positive feedbacks on ebay and they think i'm lying about a poxy £65 item
