ordered a 49 inch monitor on Dell website, it said get it delivered within in 2 days. Delivery was passed to DP World Syncreon they passed it a third party Irish delivery company whom lied when stating we couldn’t access the address etc so they put ‘We have attempted to make contact - Customer unavailable’ I was at home you never attempted. Anyways I have cancelled the order. The company and its partner that deal with delivery are a joke! What should have been a simple transaction is turning into a nightmare. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company… I guess I should have dealt with AMAZON as they are the BEST in delivering orders on time always
Alienware Pro Gaming Mouse dongle…
Alienware Pro Gaming Mouse dongle failure.
We purchases a new Dell laptop and mouse in December 2024 for a business, we were surprised to find that the mouse would only work with a dongle that was supplied with the mouse at the time of purchase, the dongle was an inch long and had to be inserted in the back of the laptop in one of the USB 2 ports. When using the machine on your lap (as designed ) the dongle kept catching on your leg or lap. After a week or two the dongle cover came off and needed to be taped back on. After 11 month of use the dongle's cover came off again and whilst being used on a lap the dongle broke in half. We contacted Dell as the laptop and mouse were still under warrantee. They said because it had broken in half we would have to by a new mouse and Dongle combined as it was not covered by the warrantee, when we asked to have a replacement dongle sent out with a payment they could not do that. We feel that the mouse and dongle combination was not fit for purpose and should of never been sold to us as a combined bundle. after speaking to 7 different people at Dell they said that there was nothing they could do or would be able to do about this and the only way was to purchase a a new mouse from them, this is unacceptable to us as our stance is how can an inch long Dongle in the back of a laptop be fit for purpose as a mobile unit. We have made a complaint to Dell officially about this but do not hold our much hope. Be aware of this when purchasing from Dells website as they don't even mention the dongle is and Inch long and we would not recommend anyone purchasing a Mouse from Dell.
They don't respond to any tickets
They don't respond to any tickets, the order is already 5 days late, and they've been stuck at customs for days because they haven't paid the fees!! No explanation, nothing! You call, they know a ticket is open, but nobody cares. This is the most unprofessional company! DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM DELL! It works + ATTENTION: Terms and conditions! I wanted to cancel and return the order because the customer support and processing are terrible. I mistakenly thought they would refer you to the terms and conditions, which state that Swiss customers have no right to return/cancel. WTF Better to go to Lenovo! EDIT: Now that I'm reading the reviews here, I have a very bad feeling. This seems to be a Dell scam where you "get the product early" but then have to wait for months. SHAME. Also, the fact that you have no warranty for defective parts as a Swiss customer and have to pay expensively for it yourself and can't replace or return the laptop... Oh dear, never again!

Order placed on 23rd Sep 2025 for next day delivery, still no laptop to be seen ! Order says processing. Numerous back and forth emails with no help whatsoever.

I placed an order with Dell on 01/10/2025 that included a 14” Inspiron 2-in-1 laptop, a smart pen, and a wireless mouse. I’ve always believed Dell offers high-quality products — but from this point, the problems began.
In 2025, every major company offers fast and reliable delivery — usually within two business days. Unfortunately, Dell chose to partner with one of the worst couriers I’ve ever experienced. The delivery company handling my order (DHL eCommerce ServicePoint) has shocking reviews and, sadly, lived up to them.
For comparison: a few months ago, I ordered a Samsung S25 Ultra. I placed the order on a Thursday morning and received it the next morning, with constant updates throughout. Dell, however, sells high-value technology, not low-cost items — so I expected much better communication and service.
Here’s what happened:
My delivery was first scheduled for 03/10/2025.
I changed the address because I work 12-hour shifts and study as well.
The courier held my parcel for four days just to change a label.
Yesterday, the order was supposed to be delivered — nothing arrived, no email, no message.
I called Dell around 10 times and was told you don’t have a contact number for the courier. That is unacceptable — as the seller, Dell should have direct communication with its delivery partners.
Today, I received a message saying delivery would take place between 15:06 and 16:06.
At 14:45, I was informed the driver couldn’t find my address — yet no one came to my door.
I took a full day off work specifically to receive this delivery. Because of this failed attempt, I lost my working day, suffered extreme stress, and nearly required medical attention. My colleagues even called an ambulance because of how anxious and upset I became.
To make matters worse, I have a university presentation tomorrow and no laptop to use. This entire situation has caused unnecessary distress and financial loss.
Dell is a global company with a strong reputation for quality — but choosing a courier with such poor reliability and no customer service damages your brand. In 2025, it is simply unacceptable that a courier cannot be contacted, and i still not i recived my laptop

Awful technical support based in India with little knowledge and unwilling to listen or fix my computer with a new part.
This is a high end all in one PC, the first time it went wrong they came and replaced the motherboard with a refurbished one that was faulty.
They replaced a faulty one with another faulty one.
After my computer repeatably crashed and several phone calls and 5 reinstallations of windows, they said I could send it to their repair centre, but it will take 14 days.
it's a work computer and I need it, so I declined, and finally I got someone who said they would arrange for yet another motherboard to be ordered and replaced, this time it was a new one and so far so good but the customer support has been awful
Full of excuses for refund delays
Long story short, we accidentally paid for a gaming PC twice. Our error. However we have waited 8 weeks for a refund. Dell have accepted the error and have agreed to refund the overpayment 2 weeks ago the excuse they had was they didn't have bank details. Sent the info, again, to them but still no sign of the money. As a Head of Finance, I find it incredulous that this is taking so long. A CHAPS payment could see the money in our bank account in a matter of hours. Legal action will be instigated.
Don't buy dell
Don't buy dell. I got a tower PC a few months ago, it cost nearly £1000 and have had nothing but bother with it from day 1. It shuts down for no reason, then won't come back on, the Internet keeps crashing. Customer service is hopeless

Would leave ZERO! Customer service is awful. Just ignored. Promises not kept. No replies. Open complaint since July. Mid-sold Avast. I want a refund. Ignored! Have always loved my laptops but will never buy again from them as their attitude and lack of care is beyond awful. Don’t ever buy from Dell as you will never get any service. They owe me money. Reported fault with laptop on 22 August 2025. Took several weeks to arrange an engineer. Engineer arrived and replacement fan cable too short. Return visit was same result! Cable too short. Dell agreed to replace laptop. Returned and received at Dell on 29 September 2025. Now being told it needs scanned within 10 days before replacement can be dispatched! 2 months without a laptop is not acceptable!
Worst Possible Products and Support
Like all of the previous reviews you will see, I can't believe how poor Dell's products and support have been.
I have purchased two expensive Dell computers for my home business, costing over £2000.00, thinking we would get some quality products.
The "all-in-one" PC crashes on a daily basis with memory stop-code errors.
The laptop stopped working with what I thought was a power issue. I sent it back thinking it would be a simple fault that would be repaired.
I then received a quote to repair the laptop which was more than it would cost to buy the same laptop again brand new!
They have stated it is water or liquid damaged and have sent images and a video of it being unboxed after being received from the courier.
No water damage from my end, and now I am substantially out of pocket. To make it worse, I have seen other similar comments from other reviewers who have had the same issue!
When you think Dell, would you think they would have a 1.3-star score? I wish I had checked before purchasing their products.

Along with so many other dissatisfied customers, I find this company an absolute sham. In my opinion it should be shut down. They are no better than the fraudsters taking money off little old ladies.
I received a new laptop, which I tried to register online. I was not allowed to do this as the item was "not a retail product", even though I'd just bought it directly from Dell online. I was prompted to fill in a change of ownership form, but at this point I suspected it might be a returned or re-furbished product. I decided to return it and completed the online form. I have not had any email from Dell as confirmation and when I tried to find out what was happening, hit a brick wall.
Absolutely impossible to get any meaningful information on the web and just as impossible to get past their AI bots. As far as the customer service telephone line, forget it. Recorded message to look online, then disconnection! What a way to treat customers.
Take my advice and look elsewhere, ANYWHERE! 80+% of 1 star reviews says it all, believe me.
Just so disappointed in myself for not checking out before I bought.
Delayed Delivery
I would give Dell 0 stars if possible. I ordered from the site believing that it would provide a better service than Amazon however, I was very wrong.
I ordered a standard monitor on 13th September. I ordered this as delivery was guarenteed by the 16th. The 16th came and went with no update. The delivery date then changed to the 24th with no explanation. I called the helpline who said that a part was missing and this could take weeks for the factory to receieve. At this point, I asked for my order to be cancelled. I was informed that this could only be done online. I went online and cancelled my order however, this request was denied as I had apparently receieved my order.
I was informed that items could be cancelled at any point before they are shipped. Coincidentally, after cancelling my order, I was informed that my item had been shipped to me. I called the company the following morning to confirm this as it had not updated in the tracking details and they informed me that it is not true, the order had not been shipped. The status had been changed to prevent me from cancelling the order.
It is disgraceful that a company can advertise a delivery day of 2 days and have no intention of adhering to this. I advise anyone using the Dell website to look elsewhere.
Very Poor Quality & Customer Support – Disappointed with Dell Inspiron
I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 (Intel iCore 7, 13th generation, 1TB hard drive) in October 2023. Shockingly, by early 2025 — only about 1.5 years later — the keyboard/system already started malfunctioning. I don’t even think the keyboard is physically damaged since I can still type; this feels more like a system/software fault.
When I contacted Dell support, I was told I would be given a repair quote. I waited for almost a month with no reply at all. Only when I called again did they finally send me a quote — which turned out to be very expensive, with zero explanation or apology.
This is completely unacceptable for a supposedly premium product. A laptop of this specification should not fail so quickly, and Dell’s after-sales service has been slow, unhelpful, and not even apologetic. I expected far better support, but this whole experience has been extremely disappointing.
20 + years of selling Dell Hardware this company is a JOKE!
20 + years of selling Dell Servers, Workstations and Hardware. I would estimate in that time we have sold around £2m of their hardware and services..
This company is now a complete shambles/disgrace of its former self. Support is non existent.
Most recent example - paid £2k for an extended warranty on a particular rack server which was to include a next business day SLA. The hardware has been down for 29 days exactly until hardware was eventually despatched and replaced. Support is less than useless, Engineers are sent with wrong or missing parts and turn up late on every call. Support calls are the most impossible experience to describe - agents cannot speak fluent English or understand anything other than how to pan you off, hang up on you or pass you around in circles ignore you or hung up on.
2hrs on a call just to explain who we are and what the issue is. WORST service I have ever experience AVOID DELL just AVOID for your own sanity!
Think Twice Before Buying Dell UK — Refunds Take Forever, Customer Service Fails, and Consumer Laws Ignored
Bought a monitor from Dell UK and expected a smooth refund if needed. Instead, I got promised refunds that never arrived. They got the returned monitor Aug 13th, issued a credit memo on August 18th but the money never hit my credit card. After chasing them repeatedly, they said on September 8th they re-initiated the refund, blaming a technical issue. It’s now over a week later with my bank saying there is no sign of it.
If you try to return anything, don’t expect your money back anywhere near the 14 days consumer law requires. It’s a drawn-out battle with poor communication, vague excuses, and endless delays. Dell seems to think holding your money for 1-2 months is acceptable, leaving customers frustrated and out of pocket.
Avoid the headache. Buy from somewhere else if you want refunds processed promptly and real customer service.
Ordered new laptop on 6th September
Ordered new laptop on 6th September. It was apparently built and shipped on the 9th. It's due for delivery tomorrow (17th), but according to the tracking info it still hasn't been collected by the courier yet!!! I will NEVER purchase a Dell EVER again!!

Delivery promised 'next day'. Have had regular (belated) updates saying order is delayed to the following day and a week later has still not arrived. Impossible to call customer service - automated responses only saying the answer is on the website. TERRIBLE customer care.
