absolutely the worst service possible

absolutely the worst service possible. i ordered and paid for items on 13 Jul 2022. didnt receive any feedback or items so tried to contact them to see what was going on, no replies so had to open a case via paypal. they have now returned my money and are saying item no longer available. item was available when i ordered. very disappointing

been with nationwide for over 30 years…

been with nationwide for over 30 years and had to recently close my accounts because if the disgusting way they treated me. i was purchasing something through a publicly listed company with excellent reviews on trustpilot.nationwide accused them of being scammers and not only cancelled the transaction, they froze my account. when i asked for evidence that they are scammers they couldn't provide any. three different employees told me three different stories. i was told over the phone i could withdraw my money in branch not online. i went into branch and they wouldn't give me access to my money. phoned the fraud dept again and they this time said i couldn't withdraw. at this point i told them that they need to shut down my account and return my money to me immediately. they did so but i feel bitter that after all this time with them they made me feel like a criminal for no reason. they also need to remember they are looking after our money for us and should not be policing where we choose to spend. thank god we will not be held to ransom by these controlling institutions for long as crypto and decentralised finance is here now.

without doubt the worst broadband…

without doubt the worst broadband provider. taken two days off this month and two no shows for my internet that's not working. once you're in contract there is nothing you can do about it. customer service non existent.
An update. It's now been a week since the review and in that time they have now given me 6 further appointments and not turned up. I phoned retentions team and explained that they have made eight appointments and not shown up for any of them and would like to cancel my contract. They told me I can't unless I pay for early termination. Disgusting company with a disgraceful customer service
Tried to cancel contract today and even after all that they want £240 early termination fee. I contacted ofcom and they made me aware of my rights. Virgin must pay £25 for every no show and £8 per day for no service. Don't waste your time trying to sort issues with virgin it will get you no where. Go straight to ofcom
update, its now been 10 appointments made and 10 no shows.

Update after 2 weeks it's now been 8 appointments booked and 8 no shows. I tried to cancel my contract they wanted £240 early termination fee even after all that. Got in touch with ofcom and they explained to me that I am entitled to £25 for each no show and £8 per day of no service. Don't waste your time trying to resolve problems with virgins as it will get u no where. Go straight to ofcom and find out what you rghts are because Virgin will try to hide what you are owed

I made a small purchase to make sure everything worked and it did. Tried with a large amount and money taken but purchase not processed. No communication and no reason given for why. Now have to jump though hoops to try and get my money back. Service not fit for purpose with no communication

after years of membership with nuffield…

after years of membership with nuffield health sadly things have deteriorated so bad i had no choice but to quit. it was bad enough the equipment especially the treadmills were not maintained as they should be with various things not working, the final straw was the re opening after the covid lockdown. For some reason nuffield thinks it ok to reduce opening hours, take away facilities and make you have to book swimming sessions in advance with no choice to extend my membership freeze until things returned to normal. i went in twice to try to explain due to my job were i am on call all the time it was impossible for me to book sessions because 90% of the time i wouldnt be able to make that time and my quiet periods was late at the end of the day but they were closing early. I didnt join the gym with these new terms and conditions so until they returned back to normal services i should have been allowed to extend my membership freeze. they wanted to be greedy and thought it was fair to keep charging me full whack even though the timings and bookings meant i couldnt attend. they are punishing their customers for things that they are changing and implementing so for this reason i refuse to be mugged off by them. i will not be rejoining them and would not recommend them to anyone else because for the prices they charge and the way they treat you there are much better places available.

Discogs was a 5 star site that worked…

Discogs was a 5 star site that worked perfectly putting buyers and sellers of records in touch with no problems and smooth transactions until discogs decided to force sellers to try and fill a new shipping policy procedure. I've been trying for months to do it with no luck. It keeps flagging errors I don't understand how to fix and despite numerous emails to customer services for help no one has managed to sort this issue. This is a classic example of someone trying to fix something that wasn't broken. I've got hundreds of records for sale that I can't sell now for months. Why don't you guys replicate ebay shipping policy? Even though it's not perfect at least most people can work out how to fill it in. This current one is so frustrating and almost impossible to make work. I've checked out the forums and they are full of people in my position.

We know it's an extra (and, yes, somewhat complex) step to get to selling on Discogs, but we truly feel the benefits outweigh any complications, with more streamlined selling for you and a buyer experience more consistent with other online marketplaces (notably, buyers being able to see total price before checkout).

I see you wrote to our Community Support team last week. In his last message, the Community Success Coordinator did mention "If you get stuck at a specific part, please feel free to follow up here and I can help further." It may take some back and forth, but our CS team is here to help and can walk you through any necessary steps so you can get to selling! Once the Shipping Policies are set up, there isn't much maintenance work from there, so I'd encourage you to respond to your support request with any specific questions you may have for our team.

been using this site for a while now…

been using this site for a while now but am really disappointed with the bidding system that is geared to maximise profits for the site and sadly ends up ripping the customer off. I also dont like the way the site doesnt allow you to edit and control your ad. to remove an outdated video i have to contact customer support. very inconvenient and its my ad so i should be able to edit it as i like when i like

With the Featured Ads option, this enables one featured advert to be at the top of each page in the search listing. Users on Featured Ads will set up a daily budget and a per pence per-click bid. The default settings are set to a £5 daily budget with a 3p per click bid. This means, every time a user clicks on your advert, 3p would be taken out of the £5 daily budget. If not all of the £5 budget is used that day, the remaining funds will be stored on your account to use the next day.

Theres also a 'ranking' section which will let you know what page your advert is currently at the top of. If your advert is not at the top of page one, there will be a message the ranking section to let you know how much you would need to increase your per-click in order to be on the top of page one.

We're also sorry you had difficulty removing a video from one of your adverts. It is rare that this happens and is isolated only to much older adverts that had videos uploaded some years ago. Any new videos you upload, you'll be able to manage them yourself from within the 'video' section on your advert. We can see that you've been in touch with the team and they removed the video for you.

What an amazing speaker but......

What an amazing speaker, very loud and battery lasts for ages but it has a major flaw. This speaker is only good at moderate to high volumes. At low volumes the power saving feature cuts in and keeps turning speaker off. I have changed the cables around so I'm using the low gain output no difference. Ive tried rectifying through customer services and they were of no help. I really expected more from them as these are not cheap but sadly they were just tellling me to do the things I'd already tried myself like resetting etc. Big shame as it is an awesome speaker

i've been buying from daf for a couple…

i've been buying from daf for a couple of years now but have noticed the quality deteriorate recently. meat used to be nice and red but is now a totally different colour with what seems like much more rubbish in there. as my dog wasn't a fussy eater i only complained to daf but not on here. today however they have really cheesed me off as they just didn't show up with my order and didn't tell me otherwise. now i'm stuck because i've not got anything to feed him. totally out of order and very unprofessional
update from this comment i managed to phone them today and sarah the manager( apparantly) was very rude to me accusing my of saying things i did not say. i asked to be transferred to someone else and that when we established that they had not passed my delivery instructions to the driver. in conclusion not my or delivery drivers fault but the incompetence of this company. i will not be ordering from this place again and will advice my friends to do the same because they way they spoke down to me. absolutely disgusting and unforgivable

demon tweeks were advertising 20% off…

demon tweeks were advertising 20% off in their sub title ebay listing but when i tried to order it wouldnt take the 20% off. tried to message but got fobbed off by being told it was no longer available. this is against ebay rules and advertising ethics. my two further messages were ignored. not a good way to treat a customer that has spent thousands with them over the years. so now had no choice but to write this honest review and report to ebay.
just a little follow up,demon tweeks have tried to remove my review from here and i have had to send information in to prove that they had no justification for this. I have had no reply from them except they have blocked me on ebay too for doing absolutely nothing wrong but in actual fact speaking the truth. i spend thousands on my cars so that's just their loss. what a big shame they didnt have the decency to actually contact me and make right their mistake. very unprofessional and treating customers in this way will eventually lead to their demise
