I was so pleased with the performance…

I was so pleased with the performance of my Orskey 800 dashcam that I bought a second one for our other car.
Aftersales service excellent too - I asked for a replacement windscreen mount which has just arrived, complete with a spare micro SD card!

Unbelievable - they offer cars they haven't got!

I went online for a last minute booking to be told a car was available later that morning for a one-way hire from Milford Haven to Bangor. Paid my fees and received email confirmation.
I made other arrangements for my trip and was making a 5 day hotel booking when I felt a bit suspicious that the hire booking was so easy so rang their Milford depot. Can't do, the man said - no cars available, all fully booked!
When I said I had paid in full, he said not to worry I'd get a refund in 5-6 working days!
I even had a later email urging me to check-in online!
Had I not had my suspicions and gone ahead with hotel bookings, etc., etc. ...?
What an outfit! Best avoided at all costs.

Great product, great service.

Very prompt attention to the order - it arrived very quickly.
Superb custom packaging that ensured safe travel.
The illuminated mirror exceeded expectations, very well designed and finished.
Installation was easy and straightforward.
Looks great in our refurbished bathroom and works well.
Minor niggles - the illuminated switch spot on the mirror pulses gently and there is no direct on/off function without going through 3 different light levels.
But would definitely buy again!

Moisture problems with so-called waterproof hearing aids.

I wrote a review here in October '21 about my Phonak top-of-the-range Audeo rechargeable hearing aids that kept turning themselves off whenever I got warm and had a small bit of perspiration behind my ears.
Specsavers offered to change them for the battery version which I gladly accepted. But now I have the same problem with the battery models, though the small advantage is that I can remove the batteries and replace them to switch them back on again.
Phonak advertise that these are category IP68, which as they point out means they can tolerate immersion in 1 metre depth of water for 60 minutes! What nonsense and a wholly untrue and deceptive claim, so how can you believe anything they say?
I tried asking Phonak about this but they refused to comment!
I certainly won't be buying Phonak again.

Review of Interparcel

Poor liason between Interparcel and APC

I received an email to expect delivery by APC 'today', Saturday - no time slot given as most other couriers seem able to provide these days. So a busy day was adjusted to ensure someone was at home to receive whenever it arrived.
By evening and no arrival, tried phone calls but everyone had gone home.
Sunday morning managed to speak to someone at Interparcel who said she would look into it and email me back shortly - nothing happened there.
Monday morning eventually found someone to speak to at Interparcel who again would look into it.
Contacted APC to find that though Interparcel had told me it was out for delivery on Saturday with APC, it had not been booked with APC for a 'Saturday delivery' and therefore held over till Monday!
Also, having arrived at APC on the Thursday morning for their 'next day' delivery, it seemed to miss a bit there too, not being delivered till Monday!

Why does Evri driver hide from us?

Why does the Evri driver always leave the package outside the front door or in the garage if its door is open - and go away without ringing the doorbell and letting us know he has been.
This is a constant problem with their driver.
At times I have been waiting for an important delivery and I do not have the time to keep checking to see if he has been, and yet later discover that he delivered a couple of hours ago! What is the matter with him?
I have complained to Hermes and Evri about this before but they obviously do not read these criticisms.
Likewise I get an email after delivery inviting me to 'Rate your local courier' - and guess what, the link now doesn't work. There is no such opportunity to comment other than going to Trustpiolot.
Had hoped after Hermes collapse from poor service they would have got things sorted out for Evri. Seemingly not!

Incorrect transfer leaves us paying twice for our gas!

Only transferred to Eon 2 months ago so can't judge fully yet.
However they are charging us on a phantom and non-existant gas meter while our previous supplier is still charging us on our correct one which has not been taken over by Eon as it should!
So we are now paying 2 companies at the same time for one gas supply!
Not very clever.

Please speak to us and have a note of the meter serial number if possible.

It could be a possible crossed meter issue and we have a dedicated team for that.
