Excellent service

I have plumbing cover with British Gas and needed to book a call. Went on line and earliest appointment wa in 6 days so I booked it. Next day I had a call saying engineer was in area and would I be in. I said yes. 10 minutes later engineer called to say he was on his way. Very pleasant guy. Sorted out the issue Area left clean and tidy. Very impressed. Have been with British gas for many years and wouldnt change supplier

First time in the store and was impressed…

First time in the store and was impressed with the selection of products. Very clean. I spoke to a member of staff to ask if they had a particular product and she took me directly to it and stayed while I was deciding size. Very pleasant. I was made to feel very valued as a customer

The saga goes on. IT a nightmare

The saga goes on. Nearly 8 weeks and the IT still are unable to resolve this issue. Numerous emails but still not resolved. Check complaint 13055860

I rang on 23 July to cancel a policy. I advised them that it was in my husbands name and he recently passed away . The chap I spoke to said he would put the other 3 policies in my name. However in doing that I no longer have access to the on line account which was in my husbands name. I have contacted them three times to get this resolved and each time it was passed to the IT to resolve. They were supposed to ring yesterday but needless to say they didnt. I have tried setting up a new account but despite getting link to do this I just keep getting message saying unable to do so. I am in my late 70's and trying to come to terms with losing my husband. This is causing me a great deal of distress. Follow up. 2 weeks later and numerous emails this issue is still not resolved
13th August: what a nightmare. I have no iidea what on earth is going on. The policy for the gas cooker was cancelled however it is still valid until expiry.

It still has a fault and you arranged an engineers visit which I believe will be covered. However I have just recieved an email from D&G thanking me for renewing the policy which I have not done, After 3 weeks I still unable to get into my account I dont know what to do.

It is an absolute nightmare. I am struggling to cope after the death of my husband and this catalogue of errors is causing me absolute stress.

If you are unable to deal with this then PLEASE escalate this matter to someone who can

Poor IT service Absolute nightmare

Amazing customer service

This is the second time I have posted a review about the Banbury branch. I spoke to Josh about the changes in my pass book. He took time to advise me of the new changes and proceeded to change my pass book to the new system. I cannot praise Josh highly enough for his care and consideration towards me in his assistance with the changeover. I do hope my comments are fed back to the branch

Unwanted Brochures

You are persistently sending unwanted brochures to my husband who passed away on 6th October 2024. I keep returning them to you with 'DECEASED; clearly written on the envelope however you persist in sending them. This is causing me a great deal of distress, Please advise how to remove his name from your mailing list

I would use again

My daughter booked tickets as a surprise. I was very sceptical about flying with them after all the negative press and reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised. Yes they are a budget airline but the check in was quick. Staff very pleasant, Boarding was fairly quick and both flights were on time, I wouldn't hesitate to use again

sending unsolicited mail…

You have been sending unsolicited mail for Churchill living to my husband for the past 7 - 8 months.
My husband passed away on 6th October and I am finding it very painful and distressing to keep receiving this unwanted information. I want his name removed from your database with immediate effect. I also require an explanation as to how you obtained his details and what right did you have to send mail. It is my understanding that You must not send marketing emails or texts to individuals without specific consent. After speaking to them it transpires they use a company called DBS Data to send their advertising out. Its a pity that they don't monitor how they obtain peoples details. I have read your response and reply as follows: Thank you for getting his details removed however I do dispute your comment that he must have given his consent for these to be shared as this is something that he would never have done. He absolutely hated unsolicited phone calls and letters. We both had also signed up on The Mailing Preference Service (MPS) web site several years ago

I have just been advised that this is the company sending unsolicited mail for Churchill living to my husband for the past 7 - 8 months. My husband passed away in October. After contacting Churchill living they advised me that this is the company I need to contact. I require an explanation as to how you obtained his details and what right did you have to send mail.

Amazing staff in Banbury branch

The staff in the Banbury branch are amazing. Following the death of my husband I went into the branch to get help in sorting his account out. I initially dealt with Josh who was so sympathetic and helpful. He helped me through all the required paperwork . I went in today to resolve another issue and the staff again were so helpful. They contacted the department to obtain forms and then helped me again to get them completed. Sadly I didnt get their names but they will know who they are. Many thanks for your understanding

Will stay with British Gas

We have been with British Gas for many years both for energy and home serve. It can be very frustrating at times trying to get in touch with them but on the whole when you do speak to someone they have always been helpful. We are in mid 70's and my husband is on vunerable register due to serious health issues. If boiler breaks down they will get someone out on the same day although sometimes you have to stand your ground in insisting that this happens. It does depend on who you speak to. We are very happy with the service that we receive and would not move to another supplier

Have ordered plants from J Parkers several times over the years. Always good quality and value for money. Had one issue with some plants which didn't take so emailed them. Customer Service going downhill fast

Specific instructions regarding our DD payment have been ignored. I also find it very frustrating that I am kept on hold for 20+ minutes before I can speak to someone. I find it very frustrating that there is no longer an online complaints form. I find it VERY frustrating that when I write a letter to British Gas, they respond by email, however I am unable to reply to the email

Excellent Customer Service

Huge thank you to the customer service team who resolved my concern regarding cancelled trip. We were due to go to Amsterdam in April however due to current restrictions we cancelled the hotel. Trains were still running on our due date however following a virtual conversation they have allowed me to have a evoucher for the full amount. Really pleased as I thought I would lose the whole amount. Looking forward to when we can travel with them again
