I visited Richard Sanders OMODA yesterday to look at the Omoda 9 and had a very disappointing experience. I phoned ahead to confirm there was a car available for test drive, but on arrival was told there wasn’t one.
The salesman spent most of the time looking out of the window waiting for a car to return, while another salesman didn’t even get up from his desk. When Lee offered us a coffee and we accepted, he simply pointed out where the machine was rather than making one.
Once it became clear that we were interested in a business lease, the enthusiasm completely disappeared. The overall experience felt dismissive and unprofessional, and we decided to leave.
Hopefully other Omoda dealerships offer a better experience for business customers.

Didn’t have a 100% good experience when purchasing a new Renault from Richard Sanders Northampton . I am going to be generous and apportion blame for that 50/50 and lesson learned to read order paperwork properly. However 12 months on booked in for first service - no complaints.

Absolutely diabolical company and service. Don't buy from them or use there service department. Booked a car in for service and mot. They didn't fix the known fault it went in with, and passed an mot with said fault which is an mot failure. Apparently it was working at time of mot. Baring in mind they had the car for 4days! Funny how it wasn't working before or after. Staff couldn't care less ,said would contact to arrange booking in to fix. Over a week later I had to contact them. Absolute joke please buy your cars and have them serviced elsewhere. I fully suspect they knew the car had this fault when they sold it,hence why they also passed it with this fault.

If you need a new motor Steve in the Kettering branch is the man to see! I have dealt with Steve for a few years now and honestly he just knows his stuff! He always knows the type of car that will suit me and my needs, very professional and always kind and always a friendly face to visit and chat to. It doesn’t stop at the sales, his aftercare is second to none, always just at the other end of the line to talk to about any concerns or advice, you are not just another customer to Steve you are a valued customer and friend for life.

Was sold a Ford eco sport by them. Nothing but issues with it cost me 1000s to repair. Went to exchange it with them and don’t want it back said them cars are horrible bad comes with so many issues. Oftered me 1500 for it. Manager didn’t even contact me when I asked to speak to a manager as they sold me this car 2 years ago!! Used these for years as of my mum and other family but none of us will use again. Been 3 weeks now no manager as contacted me. Im going to take this further
Excellent service from this company, both pre-sales, sales process and after care. I bought an Aygo for my son and they were helpful every step of the way and solved a problem with the clutch for me, with no stress or hassle.

I’m extremely happy with the service at Richard Sanders Renault Kettering. I brought in my Renault Zoe for some warranty work and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Unlike other Renault dealers, they were able to offer me an early appointment, which made me happily drive an hour to them rather than going to my local dealer.
On my first visit, they provided me with a courtesy car for a few days while the work was being done. On the second visit, they carried out the work while I waited and even gave my car a wash and hoover before handing it back. The level of care and professionalism really stood out.
A huge thank you to Steve, the service manager, and Nick, the technician. Both went above and beyond — Nick clearly knows his stuff and was happy to explain things thoroughly. I genuinely wish them both all the best for the future. Highly recommended!
My 3 year old Megane developed a couple of minor electrical faults. Richard Sanders fixed them without any quibble under the Renault warranty. They kept in good communication with me and were helpful all the way through. Cannot fault them. Well done.
Had my car in for a recall. Was in contact with Sam and all I can say is great communication and kept me updated the whole time. Couldn’t have been a better experience.
I recently purchased my Captur, my first experience of Renault and my first experience of Richard Sanders Kettering. My needs were listened to and Aaron identified the ideal vehicle, explaining everything perfectly. No praise too high for Aaron, his Manager Carl and the lovely lady on reception. I am looking forward to future visits to Richard Sanders.
I can’t say enough about the quality of service at this dealership. Compared with another dealership when I had a Peugeot, the service there was either terrible or non existent. Team do their utmost to book vehicle in for service or diagnostics. Technicians are excellent and are very thorough. Although we think of main dealerships as more expensive, in the long run they have better diagnostics and access to parts and they do not overcharge.
So, thank you it’s a pleasure to bring my car to you.
I bought a brand new Honda Civic from Richard Sanders in Kettering. It has metallic white paint. Just out of warranty it has now started to have peeling paint issues as do 1000s of other Honda Civics in this colour. The side front rails, and now the roof. Honda doesn’t care; Richard Sander's doesn’t either. It has cost me £1000s to repair. Never again. Poor customer service.
Wasted our time completely. Not looking to change car but salesman ran up with the usual car salesman bs. Can trade out 2 year old car in for a new one at the same price. Arranged a time to go in turned up spend around an hour there to be quoted 100 a month more. Pretty much made up a story to get us in front of them
