My 3 year old Megane developed a couple of minor electrical faults. Richard Sanders fixed them without any quibble under the Renault warranty. They kept in good communication with me and were helpful all the way through. Cannot fault them. Well done.

Was promised a discount when I phoned. Very prompt booking (next day) . Engineers Marjan and Gazim arrived on time the day after I phoned. They were polite and knowledgeable and agreed that there was a water leak in the central heating pipes but were unable to locate that leak in spite of 7 hours on the job. They restored the system properly before leaving. So far, so good ( if a little frustrating) However, their report showed 7 hours charges without the agreed discount and I refused to sign it off until the discount was correctly applied. In spite of this the full amount was taken from my credit card without my agreement. Numerous phone calls were met with "discount will be credited back to you in a few days" but without any result. Eventually spoke to Andrew ; an "Operations Manager" who discovered that "refund had been incorrectly processed" and the next day refund did indeed arrive. In conclusion, although engineers were very pleasant and thorough ( even though I spent £800 without locating the leak) , staff training is needed at head office. Also cannot see the point of being asked to sign off the job if they are going to take my money regardless.

Tracking is brilliant. Map shows exactly where driver is and how many deliveries before me. Makes it easy to make sure I can be there when it arrives.

Excellent service. In the "Old days" this would have been a typical DIY job for me with my trusty drill and a few scotch locks . But things are too complex now. I got several quotes and Trailer Trek were by far the most reasonable. Particularly swayed by the fact that they use vehicle specific electrics AND were able to re-program the car electric system on the spot. ( many companies could not; which means going to the main agent and spending extra ) . Office staff friendly and helpful. The fitter arrived exactly on time and was polite and very efficient. Very neat job , detachable swan neck very robust and all electrics working correctly. Thanks
